Acerca de este alojamiento
New River Gorge Pickleball Retreat, Hot Tub, Games, Family Fun Minutes To Town!
Rustic New River Gorge Getaway – Sleeps 12 – Fire Ring, Games, and Tons of Space!
Tucked away on a quiet country road just outside Fayetteville, this 3 bedroom retreat is your ideal home base for exploring the best of the New River Gorge. Whether you're rafting the Lower New, hiking to Long Point, or exploring the historic Thurmond ghost town, you’re never far from the action, yet you’ll feel a world away under the stars at night.
About the Space
This spacious and rustic home sleeps up to 12 guests with plenty of room to spread out. The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking big group meals, and the beds are cozy and clean, perfect after a full day in the Gorge. A large dining table and open living space make it easy to gather, laugh, and plan your next adventure.
Outdoor Life
The feature of our property are two private pickleball courts. These are exclusively for the use of our guests.
Also outside our spacious house, you’ll find a huge yard with a fire ring that’s just begging for s’mores and storytelling. Play a round of horseshoes, toss some bags in a friendly cornhole match, or bring your own favorite outdoor games. There’s room for it all.
NEW in 2026: 3 disc golf holes have been installed on the lawn!
There's also plenty of parking and flat ground for gear trailers.
There are farmers that share the infrequently traveled one-lane road in front of our house. While our accommodations offer you all of the modern comforts, this is a rural mountain area where wildlife, and rarely a neighbor's dog, comes across the property. The most likely animal sighting is the deer that come to the lawn every morning.
Nearby Attractions (All within 10–15 minutes):
New River rafting at Cunard or Fayette Station put-ins
New River Gorge Bridge – Walk the scenic Bridge Walk or catch the view from the Canyon Rim Visitor Center
Long Point Trail, Endless Wall Trail, and other iconic hikes
Fayetteville’s great eats – Pies & Pints, Cathedral Cafe, and Secret Sandwich Society
World-class climbing at Kaymoor, Bridge Buttress, and Endless Wall
Arrowhead Trails for mountain biking
Babcock State Park and the famous Glade Creek Grist Mill
Historic Thurmond, a preserved railroad town frozen in time
Whether you’re here for a big family gathering, an outdoor escape with friends, or a laid-back retreat in the mountains, this home has everything you need: location, space, charm, and a touch of rustic character.
Come breathe in the mountain air, roast marshmallows under the stars, and make memories in the heart of West Virginia's wild and wonderful New River Gorge.
