Disfruta de la paz y la serenidad de la vida del lago desde esta moderna cabaña de Hill Country. La propiedad tiene acceso directo al lago y un muelle privado ideal para pescar o amarrar su bote. ¡Disfruta nadando en nuestra tranquila cala de bajo tráfico o kayak y explora un poco! Hay 3 kayaks, flotadores y tumbonas para su uso. Contemple la puesta de sol en el muelle con su vino nocturno o disfrute de su café matutino descansando bajo el patio cubierto. Abre una tapa mientras pescas desde el muelle y observa cómo los peces saltan al agua. ¡A los niños les encantará chapotear en nuestra pequeña cala! El agua tiene 7 pies de profundidad alrededor del muelle y 30 pies de profundidad en el centro de la cala. ¡Verás ciervos deambulando por el vecindario todos los días y ocasionalmente en el patio! Si logras escapar de la serenidad y la relajación del lago, estamos cerca de bodegas, lugares para bodas, destilerías, tirolesa y el encantador Krause Springs.

Si trae un bote u otros juguetes acuáticos, el lanzamiento del bote está justo a nuestro lado para facilitar el lanzamiento y amarrarlo a nuestro muelle. Tome un crucero por la mañana, luego regrese y arroje algunas hamburguesas a la parrilla, luego reúna a todos nuevamente para un crucero al atardecer: ¡es tan fácil cuando está en el agua!

Venir aquí es una aventura en sí misma. Conducirás a través del hermoso Texas Hill Country y atravesarás sinuosas carreteras pasando por rebaños de vacas y búfalos. Camina por nuestro camino de tierra que conduce a nuestro pequeño pedazo de cielo. Muchas de las personas en nuestro vecindario han existido por más de 30 años. Es un lugar único. Las personas son amigables y se cuidan unas a otras. No tenemos una cerca, pero le pedimos que se quede en nuestra propiedad y respete a nuestros vecinos. Como ninguno de nuestros vecinos tiene cercas, puede ver a sus perros deambulando. ¡Se trata del país y la vida del lago aquí! ¡Vida fácil!

Una de las mejores partes de quedarse aquí es el estilo de vida del país del lago. ¡Estamos en el campo, más allá de las señales de límite de la ciudad! Como tal, todavía no se ofrece Internet inalámbrico por cable en nuestro vecindario. En cambio, ofrecemos un WIFI de bolsillo que se conecta a través de AT&T. Solo es adecuado para búsquedas básicas en Internet y no es bueno para transmitir videos o jugar juegos. Ofrecemos televisión por cable. Esperamos que encuentre un respiro de su ajetreada vida aquí y posiblemente tenga la oportunidad de desconectarse.

Texas Getaway

Little Luna is a beautiful home just outside of Austin. A great place to rest and relax and catch up with friends. The hot tub and peaceful surroundings were our favorite things. Darlene was a superb host and very easy to communicate with. We had a wonderful time and hope to return again soon!

Great time on the river

The lake house was more than enough for two people. Very clean and has pretty much everything you would need for a few days to a week. Nice views good water. Had a a very good long four night weekend. Easy for swimming and kayaking. Overall a very good experience. Would recommend this place to a friend.

Little Luna - Little Paradise

Little Luna was a perfect place for as we were attending a wedding close by. The home was clean and enjoyable. It had all the amenities we needed. We especially enjoyed the back patio in the mornings and the hot tub in the evenings. If we come back that way, I would stay again. The host was informative and responsive. We had a great stay and appreciate them sharing their home.

Beautiful Lakefront Home

My husband and I celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary in this beautifully decorated home. Enjoyed our evenings grilling and eating on the deck overlooking the lake. This house has a fully stocked kitchen for cooking and huge kitchen island. Very clean comfortable home. Enjoyed fishing and relaxing in the private dock. Will definitely visit this home again.

Family Summer Vacation

This was an amazing trip. Darlene was an amazing host. Very kind and helpful. The home was very inviting and well kept. The rooms where perfect and very comfortable. Outside, the patio was spacious and seating was not an issue for a family of 8. We enjoyed the night sky around the camp fire roasting S'mores. The hot tub was a nice addition in the evening along with the outside games. We loved the stay and enjoyed our weekend getaway. Thank you Darlene for everything.

Great Lake-house getaway

Enjoyed our stay at the lake-house. Central to Fredericksburg and Austin and a short stint from Kraus Springs and Hamilton. The lake house is updated wonderfully inside and it’s very cozy to hang out in with family. The back porch and overlooking deck are a plus. Know that the walk down to the lake is a trek down a lot of stairs... and back up! You will get your exercise! The boat dock is a bit dated and could use some TLC, but the overall experience is nice. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here. Thanks for giving us this opportunity for a family retreat.

Great family vacation place.

Great for small to medium size groups - we had 5 adults and 1 child and it was perfect. House was clean and well maintained and very well stocked with everything you would need. Shared bathroom needs some updating. Next door dogs were a pain in the rear - but fortunately there were only 4-5 incidents we were aware of - the neighbor owner was nowhere to be seen when the dogs were out and needs to be counseled about this ... this was the only low point of the trip and certainly not a show stopper. Great location - peaceful cove off the main river. Only one or two boat / jet ski intruders violated the no-wake zone, so swimming in the cove from a canoe or kayak was very nice. Good location if you want to rent a boat or jet ski (Baycliff Marina, about 15 minutes by land, 30 minutes by boat). Quiet and peaceful ... will definitely consider a return trip.

Lovely home, not great location

The home itself was clean, updated, mostly and well stocked. The shared shower needs updating. The lake level was so low it was impossible to access. Had we known there was a chance of no lake access we certainly would not have chosen this property. In addition, the neighborhood dogs, and there were quite a few, seem to this property is their personal latrine, very unpleasant. The landlord was available for questions and easily accessible. Would not choose again.

Jane, thank you for your review. I’m glad you liked the home itself. Unfortunately, Lake Travis is not a constant level lake so I did send you (and all upcoming guests) an email with pictures a month before your stay to let you know the water levels were low at that time (Luckily the lake is FULL now and it's as beautiful as ever!). The low levels were unexpected and out of our control but we only ever want guests to be happy with their stay. Some guests chose to cancel and we gladly issued a full refund to those guests. You did not choose to cancel. You chose to keep your reservation knowing the levels were low. As far as the neighbors two small dogs, they do come to our property from time to time (along with deer, buffalo, and foxes) as there are no fences here. It is country living out here and many guests actually love that animals can roam freely but we understand this easy-going lifestyle is not for everyone.

Quick get away

Booked for a quick weekend stay for our son's 22nd birthday. He works at TBarM camp in Spicewood so we needed something close. The house is darling and has everything you possibly will need. Couple of things to note. The house is water front with a boat dock. We were so looking forward to fishing and paddle boarding. We brought all of our gear only to find there was no water.....bone dry. Wish this had been disclosed. We booked this property for water activities so that was disappointing. Other item to note is there is no bathroom in the master bedroom. We were ok with it but very surprised. The home still has a beautiful view without water and we still enjoyed our time.

Great house and great location

We really enjoyed our stay at this house. The house was clean, well maintained, with nice decor. We felt right at home for the week. The house was perfect size for our family of four. We loved that it was located in a quiet cove, and we spent lots of time in the water swimming and kayaking. We also enjoyed a lot of fishing right from the dock.

Awesome time on the lake

We had a fantastic time and would’ve stayed longer if there had been a vacancy. The only issue was the neighbor dogs and the fire pit being on a slant that made it tricky to use, esp with small kids, but we absolutely loved our time and Darlene was very responsive and helpful. Would stay again.

Perfect lake getaway

Perfect lake house! Everything we wanted: covered porch, outdoor seating, view, easy lake access (with stairs), floating covered boat dock. Walk to the lake might not be suitable for small children but you could carry them.

We had a lovely and relaxing girls weekend at the lake! The house was beautifully updated on the inside. The location was great! It wasn't too far from Austin and Bee Cave, but it still felt very secluded. The view was breathtaking, and the lake was so calm. We enjoyed taking the kayaks out for a relaxing ride around the lake. Thank you for sharing your house with us!

Perfect lake retreat

My college girlfriends and I stayed here for a long weekend for our annual reunion. We absolutely loved the house - so clean, comfortable and stylish! The kitchen is stocked with everything you need to cook meals if you don’t want to leave the house. We loved hanging out on the water all day and eating meals out on the deck. We took their kayaks out and brought a couple of paddle boards with us. The water was great and the cove was nice and secluded. It was the perfect getaway for a group of old friends to hang out and reconnect. We highly recommend the Brown’s lake cottage!

Love the view!!

Loved this gem of a house! The view is to die for and the lake is just gorgeous! Such a relaxing stay, only downside is that we couldn't stay longer! :)
