The location is great!! Super convenient to wonderful restaurants, and the complex is adjacent to an entrance to the beach. The unit is exactly as pictured and the one issue we had was quickly resolved.

Quaint place to stay, unfortunately our visit was cut short and was only able to stay for 4 days due to a death in family. So, unfortunately I wouldn't be the best to give a complete review.

We didn’t receive the check in email and called about it, the lady working with itrip Daytona was VERY rude to us. Once we got the code to get in the place itself was so well decorated and clean. The studio was stocked with everything you could need to cook your own meals. They don’t have scissors, weird but we did need them a few times but just used a knife lol. The view was great. There is a parking lot between your balcony view and it was under construction so that wasn’t pretty but looking past it, being right by the beach is always nice. Overall, the studio was very comfortable and functioned well for what we needed. Perfect for 2 people. I wouldn’t recommend for a family.

As described!

Exactly like the picture. Furnished and well-stocked; has everything you need for a week away from home. As noted, the room itself overlooks a parking lot then the beach. Ample free parking on site. The pool is currently under construction (aka: no pool, lots of jackhammers).My only suggestion/request would be: more toilet paper and a patio drying rack :)For what I'm sure are a plethora of reasons, the beach has significantly eroded in recent years. People still drive on it but that's about all you can do .... I suppose you could prop up chairs and tan but don't expect a "beach day" in the traditional sense, especially with kids. Bring your own beach towels.Keypad didn't work until about 3 minutes past 3pm.

Complex office closed for a day and a half after we arrived so could not get parking permit. Bugs on kitchen counter and found on our beach towel as well. Light over bathroom sink did not work. Offered to send maintenance but I would think this would have been checked prior to arrival.

iTrip does not manage the building, just the unit itself. Since your visit, we now provide parking passes within each unit The building's units are sprayed monthly for all indigenous Florida pests however whenever there is a lot of rain these pests seek shelter. We wish you would have allowed us to address your concerns during your stay. Best wishes.

Reasons for poor rating

The problems started with having to communicate via email with property management if you had any issues. No one wants to sit by their computer waiting for an email response. There were supposed to be 2 property keys to be used to access pool, gym, beach...etc there was only one. There were supposed to be 2 parking passes there were none (threat of car being towed without a parking pass does not create a stress-free environment). Apparently, the maintenance staff was aware of this but no note indicating the key and passes were missing was left for us. It made for a very tense first couple days. We finally received one pass after the first 24 hours, and the 2nd key arrived Thursday afternoon. Days after we had to deal with letting each other in or out of the pool and beach area. The door from the unit to its balcony would not lock. Since we were only one floor above the ground, anyone could climb up from their car in the parking lot just below to our balcony. The electric stove did not seem safe to use as all the heating elements seemed to be loose. Maintenance never responded to our complaint regarding the unit not being secure. I am very disappointed with ITRIP who managed the property mainly because the customer service and contacts for issues are via emai.l. Thankfully, we did not require an emergency maintenance issue such as A/C not working. Satellite TV worked very intermittently. Initial appearance of unit was very disappointing. The front door could definitely use a new paint job!

Within your signed rental agreement upon booking, it states that communication must be in writing for accountability purposes, so everything is known upfront. Also, why would you need to sit by a computer since email can be accessed on your phone? We do provide a phone number within your check-in & checkout procedures for emergencies that occur when our office is closed. We were not aware that there was one key or parking permit, but we dropped off a permit right away as you state so there was no reason to stress especially since we provided an immediate temporary solution. You only informed us upon arrival of the parking permit, which was solved right away. It was not until days later you informed us regarding the common grounds key which is why it was dropped off as soon as we were aware of such. These were the only 2 items we were aware of & we responded and acted to both, if you would’ve informed us, we would absolutely respond, yet this is the 1st we are hearing of anything else in your review. As everyone can see in all recent reviews this unit is adored & enjoyed by guests and they did not state anything close to what you have. 🤔 We wish you all the best.
