Nice quiet apartment

I really enjoyed staying here. It’s up near the top of a steep street, so that takes a little bit to get used to. However, there’s a dedicated parking space, so it’s easy to park. The neighborhood is very quiet with occasional dogs barking and roosters crowing, but they weren’t anything to complain about. It was very peaceful and easy to get to whatever I wanted to do: Malecón, taco carts, shopping, beach, whatever.I would definitely stay here again.

My stay here was phenomenal! This was my first time solo traveling and being a woman i was a little apprehensive but eduardo and his brother Francisco quickly helped put my worries at ease. The home is efficiently protected with a gate and bars on windows. I had something scary happen and both Eduardo and Francisco helped keep an extra eye on me, checked on me the following morning and provided useful ways to resolve the issue. Also added benefit there is a waterfall literally right outside the home. Its amazing. So happy with this property and the people that run it. I definitely will be using them for my next visit.

Enjoyed an excellent 28 day vacation stay in PV

The apartment exceeded my expectations, very clean and bright, all the cooking amenities in good shape, large fridge, 6 burner stove. The bed was comfortable,with lots of closet and drawer space. The shower was excellent, plenty of hot water, plenty of towels, and good lighting. Close to the malecon where all the action is, only 4 blocks great friendly neighbour hood.I felt very safe walking back and forth day or night I would recommend this place to my friends and family and would book it for my next vacation. My host Francisco was great and accommodated every one of my needs and questions throughout my stay. Wallie Marzoff Winnipeg Canada

Two weeks in Old Town Puerto Vallarta

This property was exactly what I expected so there were no suprises. It is a comfortable 1 bedroom unit with all the basics you might require. The location is near the central square and if you are able bodied it is a short walk to the ocean, near the outlook for sunset views and close to restaurants. While you do not have an ocean view, your view out the bedroom or living room is of palm trees with birds and the odd iguana or two. We particularly enjoyed being outside of the main nightlife as we could walk to where the "excitement" was and retreat to our accommodations for quiet times. Our host lives next door and was readily available for any questions a person might have about the area. As the location is up a steep cobblestone hill you will want mobility or if that isn't available to you, taxis or uber rides are readily available. The local buses are only a few blocks away and run frequently. I would definitely return to this accommodation if back in Puerto Vallarta

What a Great Apartment - Cannot Wait to Return!

Out of all my visits to Puerto Vallarta over the years, I enjoyed this stay at this apartment the most. Yes, it's true - the spot is high up on a hill. But what a workout every day (sometimes twice or three times a day). It's quiet. It's got a natural alarm clock in the form of a few roosters each morning. It's spacious (bedroom, kitchen, living room, bathroom). More than enough for one person or a couple. I can't say anything bad about this place, except that I wish I could have stayed longer. The hosts were 100% top notch - great at communicating with me and great at check in and check out and everything in between. There's a security door to get into the small complex (two units), and then there's also secure windows and a front door to the unit that locks. Laundry is just outside the apartment. I am now dreaming of returning soon.

Great , affordable hillside property. A few blocks from the beach.

We stayed for the full month of January. My wife and I are both in our sixties. We found the property to be just as we had hoped. Convenient location in a wonderful , friendly , safe neighborhood. The accommodations were all clean and useful . It is not a luxury type accommodation, but for our stay it had all of the conveniences that we needed. It is a safe , clean and comfy home away from home. It is a short walk to: restuarants , bars , shops , the beach , the north end of the malecon , a very large food market and venues. We were initially concerned about the climb up towards the condo. The last two blocks are pretty steep . We adjusted to it within about two days , then it actually became the exercise that we needed . You are not at the top of the hill , there is a neighborhood above . Dozens of folks and families walk it every day. There is a small conveniece store one block away. Non stop buses that can take you downtown or anywhere 3 blocks away. The beach is maybe 6 or 7 blocks away. All of vallarta is within reasonable walking distance . We walked and enjoyed everything . About every other day we chose to grab one of the many taxis at the bottom of the hill to take us up to the apartment. That taxi run is a common one , as of 2024 the cost was only about 50 pesos. ( under $3 US). A few blocks away there is also a collection of magnificant Art galleries. The owner of the property is next door and is wonderful. Thank you for a great experience!

Great place, Great Location, Great Hosts

Very Close to the Malacon less than a 5 minute walk, the hill is very steep, but a cab ride up is only $2.50 cad worth it. Francisco was great host, I would highly recommend staying there.

Good location

We enjoyed our stay. The place is a perfect size for two people. It had all the basics, except a microwave. Malecon, Restaurants, grocery store, taxi & bus are within a short, 5-10 min, walking distance. The place is located at the top of a very steep cobble stone hill, manageable if no health issues. Great workout.

Quiet and clean place

Although I had a little glitch getting into the property because I got through the airport process 90 minutes earlier than planned and the taxi driver couldn't reach Francisco by phone, he heard us and came over. He offered me a different phone number for future contact, and Eduardo sent me a follow up email to make sure there were no future problems. The apartment has all the basics except a microwave and was very clean. It is at the top of a very steep cobblestone road, but it's a good daily workout. One block to the bus that takes you north and near to lots of little restaurants. About a 20 minute walk to the old section of town but very manageable and enjoyable. The neighborhood is quiet and friendly and I always felt very safe there as a single female traveler. When I was leaving, a kind neighbor sent his son down the hill to get me a taxi to the airport, as I would have had to haul my suitcases down the cobblestone street to find one. Overall, a great little place for someone wanting an inexpensive stay.

Very new and clean

The condo is new and very clean. Everything is provided, including nice linens, fans, A/C, large tv, great bed, new appliances and a washer and dryer just outside the door. The owner and his family are lovely! Cleaning service once a week is included. There is a steep hill to climb but it's very short and totally manageable. The bus stop is at the bottom. It is a very quiet location and we got a great sleep.

Quiet, spotless and cosy

Eduardo was an excellent host - made sure we were settled in; always available if we had any questions. Suite is in spotless condition; sofa bed was very comfortable--not a spring fold out, it pulled out from the bottom, making one solid mattress. Fans, plus excellent air conditioning in the bedroom. Close to everything with no noise from traffic. We walked into town most days or went to the beach down the street - very convenient. Friendly neighbourhood. Got my exercise walking up the hill! Enjoyed our home away from home.
