AMAZING!
This cabin made our trip absolutely unforgettable. The swing beds upstairs on the deck were awesome. Additionally, we enjoyed the hot tub beside the fire, listening to music and watching TV while relaxing. It's tucked away in a little cul-de-sac, which made it super romantic, but still close to town so going out to eat wasn't a problem.

Love this cabin. One of my favorites. We loved the swinging beds and thank goodness for the powerful fan above them. All the little details made a big impression and it's spotless! So comfortable, relaxing and peaceful.

THE SPACE:

Tucked beneath the towering 80-foot tall pines of Broken Bow/Hochatown, Evergreen is a one-bedroom modern farmhouse-style cabin - a private, soothing retreat made for rest, romance, and reconnecting. When you open the door to our professionally designed cabin, your spirit is calmed. The soothing color palette and cozy furnishings will make you want to stay indefinitely. Enjoy the diffused lighting and the backdrop of huge pines behind the cabin through the wall of windows as you enter off the covered wrap-around front porch.

Once you get settled in, you’ll find so many options. Curl up in one of our comfy chairs with a fuzzy blanket and a book, challenge your loved one to one of our many games, make a meal together in our chef’s kitchen, or take the world’s longest soak in our spa tub.

Evergreen has a large living area with designer furnishings, an open, modern kitchen and seating at the farmhouse table in the designated dining area. Just past the main area, you’ll love the bedroom (it’s a stunner), separate from the living area by a door - this is not just a one room studio. The bedroom has a King bed with luxury linens and high end memory foam mattress and French doors to the back deck/hot tub. There’s a separate barn door to the large, spa-like bathroom, complete with oversized tub, two person shower, his and hers spa robes, a separate toilet closet, Beekman 1802 soap, shampoo, and lotion, fluffy white spa towels, and make up towels and wipes.

There is also an additional half bath, tucked under the stairs on the other side of the kitchen. The stairs lead to our second living area - a loft with a sofa and sofa bed, another TV, and the upstairs deck.

We didn’t forget about the exterior! The front porch offers rocking chairs for enjoying your morning coffee or evening beverage. And the back porches... so many options. Relax in the hot tub, watch TV by the outdoor fireplace (seasonal) in the outdoor seating, dine al fresco around the outdoor dining table overlooking the forest, or sway the day away on our upstairs deck where half covers the suspended daybeds and half extends into the treetops, with chairs for lounging in the breeze. Also enjoy grilling your favorite dish on our propane grill (propane and grill utensils are provided), playing a game of corn hole or ladder golf, and cozying up around the string lights and fire pit when the sun goes down under the most gorgeous starry sky you’ve ever seen. Don’t be surprised if deer come by for a visit... it’s a common occurrence. We are on an oversized 1.3 acre tucked-away lot, with lots of room to spread out and relax. It's pure bliss!

Also, and most importantly, you will receive 5-star service from beginning to end. We truly want every guest to have the best possible experience, whether this is your first visit to Broken Bow/Hochatown or if you come on a regular basis. We offer assistance with just about everything from suggestions on where to go and what to do while in town, to helping plan for important celebrations and helping to coordinate delivery of flowers, cakes, groceries, firewood, etc. Our approach is to treat guests even better than we would ever expect and to provide fun surprises along the way. You’ll have the owner’s contact information from day one, and if you have any questions with anything about our property, the area, or the best steak in town… just ask!

• Outdoor cameras for property protection and to help enforce our no pets/no parties policies, at the entrances. Cameras face the front porch and driveway and a camera at the back stairs. No cameras are in private guest areas or inside the cabin.
• NO PETS allowed
• SMOKING PROHIBITED - no smoking, vaping, piping, or drugs of any kind are permitted inside the cabin.
• FIREWORKS PROHIBITED
• Fireplaces are turned off May-September
• There are instances when drought conditions are present and the town restricts fires of any kinds for public and property safety reasons. Fire pits cannot be used when this occurs.

Don’t forget these items when you come to visit:
 
* Towels for the lake
* Cooler for excess waters/cokes, etc., so as to not overload the refrigerator when arriving, also for lake use
* Sunscreen and bug spray
* All groceries – don’t forget s’mores and condiments
* Swimsuit, goggles, beach chairs, beach toys, cooler, beach bag
* Travel cups/tupperware for lake
* Phone chargers (we do offer a charging station, however some guests prefer individual chargers by the bed)
* Plastic bags for wet clothes
* Ziplock bags for phones for when you are on the lake
* Beach umbrella/tent/canopy
* Back-up plan for rain days.  We get pop-up showers/storms so you may want an umbrella, tennis shoes, or favorite game (though we have several!)
* Water shoes, hiking shoes/boots, rain boots
* Duraflame logs if you need fire-making help

*Note: Like most cabins in the area, our cabin has security cameras at the front and back entrance. They are for protection of our property and are to ensure our no-pet and no-party policies are being adhered to. They point solely at the entrances and are not regularly monitored during your stay.

*Decor is subject to change for cleanliness, maintenance or safety reasons.

*Ours is a small town with rural utilities. At times, you may see discoloration from the trace minerals (iron, manganese, etc.) in the water supply coming into the cabin. This can be an area-wide occurrence and the Broken Bow Water Department assures us, when happening, that the water is safe. This is not uncommon in small towns but is different than what we are used to in larger cities/towns. Two recommendations are to NOT WASH ANYTHING LIGHT COLORED in the washer and that some guests prefer bottled water over filtered water from the fridge. The spa will be clean but you may see a ring develop around the waterline from the minerals.

*Ours is a NO SMOKING, PET FREE cabin. No exceptions. For the comfort of all guests, please choose a different cabin if either of these are imperative to your stay.

We STRONGLY recommend purchasing the Travel Protection Plan through VRBO. With the constant uncertainty surrounding the travel industry, it’s a small price to pay to protect the costs of your trip should you or someone in your party become unable to travel. We adhere to our cancellation policies outlined here and in our rental agreement.
