Casa del Mar is a rustic coastal residence that celebrates the natural beauty of Mexico’s Pacific shore. Crafted from stone, wood, and palm, its open, organic architecture invites you to embrace the sea in a warm and authentic way. With seven private bedrooms and shared spaces for gathering, it’s the perfect destination for group stays, mindful retreats, or extended escapes.

The house boasts a location near to the ocean, just steps away from the beach (A 7 minute walk).

The house has a swimming pool to enjoy the day.You will find premium amenities throughout the house. All bedrooms are equipped with air conditioning for your comfort.

Continental breakfast is included!. It's served buffet style every morning from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM.

The Space:

The house can accommodate up to 16 people. It features seven bedrooms, each with its own private bathroom. The house also includes a swimming pool, kitchen, dining area, gym/yoga area, living room, rooftop and laundry room.



1. The Ciruelo bedroom includes one king-size bed and one queen-size bed, as well as one bathroom. This bedroom also features a private rooftop with an ocean view, hammocks, and a dedicated working area.

2. The Palma bedroom includes 1 King Size bed and 1 single bed, a private bathroom, and a private rooftop with a view of the swimming pool.

3. The Mangle room features 1 King size bed and 1 single bed, a private bathroom and private rooftop with a view of the swimming pool.

4. The Copal bedroom includes 1 king-size bed and 1 single bed, along with a private bathroom and a dedicated workspace. This unit also offers access to a private rooftop featuring a small pool.

5. The Cueva bedroom features 2 King size beds, as well a private bathroom and dedicated working area.

6. The Pochote bedroom features 1 King size bed plus 1 single bed, as well a private bathroom and dedicated working area.

7. The Ceiba bedroom includes 1 King size bed plus 1 single bed, as well a private bathroom and dedicated working area.



Guest Access:

You will have access to the house with no time restrictions since the entrance is independent. The house has parking space for 5 people.



The Neighborhood:

Casa del Mar is a house located in Agua Blanca (a village), nestled along the stunning Oaxacan coast. The location of the house allows you to have quiet and relaxation time.

The house is situated in a lovely location near the beach and is surrounded by exotic plants.The beach is conveniently located just a 7-minute walk from the property. In Agua Blanca beach, you will find charming "palapas" where you can enjoy freshly caught seafood.

During the Whale season, whales can be seen in the ocean from Agua Blanca beach.



It takes 25 minutes by bus from Agua Blanca to arrive to Punta Zicatela,

30 minutes by bus from Agua Blanca from the house to Zicatela

35 minutes by bus from Agua Blanca to ADO Bus station and Chedrahui supermarket in Puerto Escondido, plus 5 minutes walking to arrive at Puerto Escondido beaches.



Agua Blanca Beach, is located just 35 km east of Puerto Escondido. It's renowned for its incredible food, including fresh oysters and seafood, stunning ocean rock pools, and excellent surf breaks suitable for intermediate to advanced surfers.



This beach is truly a perfect spot for everyone! Children and adults alike will love swimming and playing in the natural rock formations right by the shore. For unique experiences, the turtle release point is only an 8-minute drive away, and you can also witness the magic of bioluminescence. You'll also be able to enjoy breathtaking sunrises or sunsets, and the soft, gently sloping sand makes for wonderful walks along the beach.



Agua Blanca Beach features traditional beachfront restaurants, mostly with charming thatched roofs and sandy floors, serving delicious oysters and shrimp. The prices are very affordable, with an excellent meal costing around 200 pesos and a beer about 30 pesos. Many of these restaurants offer high-speed Wi-Fi, along with beach chairs and tables. Please note that some establishments provide lounge chairs and tables for customers purchasing food and drinks from their menu. You will also find several small convenience stores just off the beach road if you need to pick up anything for your day.



To fully explore the beautiful Oaxacan coast, we recommend renting a car. We can also assist you in contacting local tour operators if you prefer.



Getting Around:

There are different options to get to Casa del Mar, located in Agua Blanca (village).



* From Oaxaca city to Casa del Mar:

Take a Líneas Unidas van, get off in Santa Elena del Tule (village), then take a taxi to the house.

Another option is to take an ADO bus to Puerto Escondido, then take a van to Santa Elena del Tule, and at your arrival take a taxi to the house.



*From Puerto Escondido to Casa del Mar:

Once in Puerto Escondido, take a van in Chedraui supermarket to Santa Elena del Tule (village), then take a taxi to the house.

From the house to Agua Blanca (village) downtown takes 15 minutes walking to arrive.

From the house to the beach, it takes 7 minutes walking.
