Mira la puesta de sol sentado en la playa de arena o flotando en el agua con tu bebida favorita. No necesita traer nada, lo tenemos cubierto con todas sus necesidades en la cocina, el baño y las habitaciones. Visite una de las muchas bodegas, las dunas del lago Michigan o los restaurantes de New Buffalo, todo dentro de un viaje de 45 minutos. Place was amazing, morning and days on the back deck .. neighbors are friendly and made us feel welcome. We would defiantly use this property again. Host was perfect!!

Great place

The property could not have been nicer. It was located right on the lake with your own private beach and multiple balconies overlookingthe lake . The owners were extraordinarily friendly and hospitable. I would strongly recommend staying at this property and we expected to do so again in the future.

Lovely and comfortable

Beautifully decorated, clean and fantastic mattresses, slept like home. Nice lake, peaceful and enjoyed the deck & kayaking. Charming shops in town & good food. 30 minutes to lake Michigan, & passenger train stop nearby to go to Chicago. Everything we needed for a perfect getaway for summer.

Great vacation

A clean and upgraded property. We had a fun time kayaking and enjoying s’mores on the porch. When it got chilly at night, the inside had a comfy setup for playing card games.

This home surpassed my expectations! It was superior!!! Loved the view of the lake from the inside of the home and the three levels of deck in the back of the house. The home was super comfortable, the gardening exceptional, the outdoor furniture wonderful. Owners were very accessible and helpful. Loved this stay! I will be back for sure.

What a beautiful cottage ! We relaxed and enjoyed this cozy home . My husband caught several fish from the pier as I floated in the lake . Lovely lake house

This is a very cute lake house. The deck is huge with gorgeous views of Hudson Lake. We enjoyed using the kayaks and the propane fire for s’mores. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need to cook and there is a nice new grill. Our dog loved the beach! The owners were very nice and live just a few houses away if you need anything. This is a beautiful area. I would not hesitate to rent it again.

Lovely waterfront!

We really enjoyed our stay. The private deck, beach and dock were so serene and lovely. The cottage was really clean and well stocked. I'd definitely go back. A real treat!

Cozy lake house with great deck

Cozy location with all the amenities. We had a great time kayaking the beautiful lake then taking an easy 20 minute drive to Michigan for some wine tasting. It was the perfect weekend getaway!

Quiet and Peaceful

We had a really nice stay. The view of the lake was beautiful and the house was great. Wish it was a little warmer to sit out on the back deck! 10 min drive to New Carlisle for shopping and a couple of restaurants. Also, close to La Porte (18 min) and New Buffalo (27 min) for some other dining options. Tom was very responsive to our inquiries. Thanks!

Perfect Lake House Getaway

My wife and I stayed at this location for a mini getaway and it was everything we were looking for! A cute home with gorgeous views of the lake. We loved taking the kayaks out and watching the sunset from the backyard and the deck. Life vests were also available. Everything you could possibly need on your vacation is easily available in the home: utensils, pots/pans, plenty of linen, towels, toiletries, menus of local restaurants. The kitchen was very well organized too! Tom was a wonderful host, very responsive and quick to help. We had trouble starting the fire pit on the deck and he arrived within minutes to help us get it started. We recommend checking out downtown New Carlisle (5 mins away) and museums in South Bend (30 mins away). Note: there is a time zone difference between the location of the house & New Carlisle & South Bend. Something to keep in mind when planning out your day or making reservations. Would definitely recommend this stay to others!

House at the lake

The property needs a new coffee pot, knives sharpened and cobwebs removed. The windows of the awesome back view didn’t close properly which was an issue in March when it snowed. Nice neighborhood and friendly neighbors. A listing of tourist attractions would be nice. Overall, the property is nice even in the off-season.

Great cottage right on the lake!

This cottage is very well cared for. It's decorated very stylishly but also has some fun touches. The views are great, the area was peaceful, the deck is fantastic. Nice, large bathroom with a great shower and and a good sized kitchen/dining area with everything you need. Many antique stores and a great Christmas shoppe are nearby. We have a wonderful stay!
