Experience the energy of living minutes from the heart of a college town and enjoy walking through our forested neighborhood to a restaurant downtown or taking the bus to the game at Beaver Stadium. Bring the whole family and live comfortably in this spacious country-style home, and a fully appointed kitchen and living space. Your family and friends will enjoy a peaceful, sun-filled home minutes from everything State College can offer.
Our house features 3 inviting bedrooms: the sunny Master Bedroom features a queen bed, a kids room with a bunk bed with a double on the bottom and a single over top, and 1 optional full bed in the TV room. With amenities like AC, WiFi, Chromecast connected TV and stereo, blackout bedroom curtains, and a washer and dryer, guests can relax and unwind, and sleep soundly. The bathrooms on both floors offer a walk in shower and the upstairs bathroom also features a bathtub for added enjoyment.
Located in a quiet neighborhood, the home is very private, with a view of the next door neighborhood garden and trees everywhere else. We are building a new deck, there is a firepit table on the parking pad. Just blocks away there are several parks, a grocery store, a fantastic bagel shop, the best Italian pizza in town, Dunkin Donuts, and a great community pool with water slides, a climbing wall, and a kids area.
We are a block from public transit and the Game Day shuttle to Beaver Stadium, and about 10 minutes on foot to downtown State College with all its restaurants, shops, and events like Arts Fest. There is ample parking on the long driveway (though there's a steep slope up from the street), a parking pad, and a garage. There is a NEMA 14-50 outlet in the garage for EV or RV charging.
This is our family's home, so we hope it feels like home to you, and that you treat it with the respect you'd treat your own home!
A charming and pleasant retreat, this lovely property is a great place to call home while you're away. We hope you enjoy your stay.
NOTE: Our home is a work in progress, so if you notice something you'd improve, let us know and we'd be happy to work on it! No smoking and no candles allowed. We love pets, but not in our home. We invite you to gather with your family and friends, but no large parties or events.

We're a family of five enjoying this vibrant community. Our kids are at the local Friends School, we love soccer and dancing, biking to the pool, storytelling, crafts, walking to the library, visiting the Arboretum and the Palmer Museum of Art, and exploring nearby forests and parks.

We love this neighborhood because it is both quiet and green and close to everything. It's fun visiting together while we walk and bike around town, and we rarely need to drive anywhere.

Our house feels like a private country home retreat even though it's so close to everything. There is a huge garden on one side and trees all around us, which keep the yard cool in the summer, and the home bright all year round. It's a gem in the neighborhood.
