Escape to Urr Lodge, this beautiful 2-bedroom, 815 square-foot lodge in award-winning (yes, it has won actual awards!) Coastal Kippford Holiday Park. Enjoy a private wrap-around deck, on a site with mature and beautiful landscaping, just a short walk from the charming, picturesque village of Kippford on the banks of the Urr Estuary in Southwest Scotland. There are miles and miles of woods walks, beach walks, and mountain biking trails- right out the door! With a king and a twin bedroom, both with en-suite full bathrooms, this comfortable retreat is perfect for a small group of guests. Enjoy the convenience of Wi-fi, OLED large-screen TV with Cinema surround soundbar /sub-woofer, comfortable seating in a large, open-plan living space with two double sliding patio doors,
French doors from both bedrooms open directly onto the deck and have outstanding views of the forest, hills and valleys. There are many ambient lighting options to allow you to set any particular mood. The spacious kitchen has full-sized fridge-freezer, dishwasher, oven and grill, 5-burner hob, air fryer and a washing machine. Absolutely everything you might need to cook and entertain is provided, with a separate dining area with elegant dining chairs. Enjoy amazing views from the wrap-around private deck, enjoy your meals, morning coffee or tea, evening glass of wine, beer or single malt in one of the many outdoor seating options. The charming and popular village of Kippford is only a mile away and is reachable via road or through the woodland path. Dalbeattie is 3 miles away and Castle Douglas ("The Food Town") is 7 miles away. Kirkcudbright ("The Artists' Town") is less than half an hour's drive away. Great lodge on a beautiful, well cared-for site - the pictures don't really do it justice. Terrific views from the wrap-around deck, absolutely everything you might need in the kitchen, very comfortable beds, lots of space, responsive and communicative hosts. Highly recommended!

Love this place.

Lovely property on one of the nicest holiday sites I've seen. Very well-equipped and furnished, both bedrooms en-suite, lots of ambient lighting options, fantastic views of hills and forests - 25 miles on a clear day, apparently! Lots of comfortable deck furniture, very private, quiet and relaxing. Will definitely be back!
