Welcome to the GLASS SUITE at The Butterfly Villa. Here, you can truly connect with the beautiful surroundings - The Suite's glass walls bring the natural light and peaceful atmosphere of Pringle Bay directly to you, offering a unique and intimate retreat.
The Glass Suite is the more intimate of two suites at The Butterfly Villa and can accommodate 2 adults and 2 small children (on pop-out mattresses on the floor) in a single spacious studio-type suite. All our bedding is made from high-thread pure cotton and we provide extra pillows and blankets.
What makes the Glass Suite exceptional is the private patio that juts out over the garden and from which the 270° view over the ocean, village and False Bay is unforgettable. The patio is generously fitted with a private Jacuzzi, outdoor furniture and blinds. The Suite has a private side entrance, recently painted to look like a waterfall is cascading down the stairs.
We are 90% off-grid with solar power.
There is 1 private bathroom fitted with a shower, basin, and toilet. The mini kitchenette is equipped for basic self-catering and includes 2 gas burners, a small oven, fridge, microwave, cutlery, and crockery.
Other features include Wi-Fi, smart TV with premium channels, smoke and security alarm systems, and off-street parking behind a secure gate, shared with one other suite on the property. The top floor of the villa is reserved for private use.

The Butterfly Villa is situated on the slope of a small mountain 125 meters tall with breathtaking views of the ocean and the Kogelberg mountains. Pringle Bay is part of a UNESCO Natural World Heritage Site and absolutely bursts with wildlife. The second largest Jackass (African) Penguin breeding colony at Stony Point, as well as a Botanical Garden and sand boarding adventures are located in nearby Betty's Bay. If you love nature and peace, but with lots of options for activities just around the corner, this is the place for you!
