🛏️ Bedrooms (Sleeps 6)

- Main Floor Bedroom: King bed, 43" Roku TV, dresser, two white noise machines, tower swivel fan, closet with hangers, and easy access to the Main Floor Bathroom.

- Upstairs Bedroom 1: Queen bed with a writing desk (your dedicated workspace), white noise machine, 1 tower swivel fan, and closet with hangers. NEW mini split AC/heater in this room.

- Upstairs Bedroom 2: Two full-size beds, 43" Roku TV, two white noise machines, 1 tower swivel fan, and closet with hangers. NEW mini split AC/heater in this room.

- Additional Sleeping: Basement sofa bed (queen) and a full-size self-inflating air mattress available.

All bedrooms feature room-darkening curtains and white noise machines to support restful sleep.

🚿 Bathrooms (2 Full Baths)

This home is outfitted with 2 bathrooms each with newly updated curbed (4" step) walk-in showers with fresh towels, make-up wash cloths, and essentials.

- Main Floor Bath: Walk-in shower, fresh towels, laundry hamper, and essentials (shampoo, conditioner, body soap, hair dryer). Toddler potty seat in drawer.

- Basement Bath: Walk-in shower, essentials (shampoo, conditioner, body soap), laundry hamper, heating light (flip wall switch) and first-aid kit in medicine cabinet. Baby bathtub (for newborn–24 months) in closet.

Please note that this is an older home so there is no bathroom on the Top floor with Upstairs Bedrooms 1 and 2. Bathroom 1 is on the Main Floor next to the Main Floor Bedroom, and Bathroom 2 is in the Basement. If you need a bathroom on the same floor as all bedrooms, this home may not be a good fit for you.

Make your favorite meals in our open-concept kitchen with stunning views of the surrounding woods. It is fully equipped with dinnerware for 8, cookware & utensils, baking sheets, blender, toaster, microwave, Indoor Smore’s Making Set, food storage containers, essentials (spices, oil).

- Keurig, drip coffee, French press & pour-over available (filters and some pods provided)

- There is a dishwasher. We limit guests to 2 dishwashing cycles per stay (additional cycles available for stays over 7 nights). Pods provided.

The dining table seats 6 and connects easily to the living area, creating a seamless family space.

Features a large, picturesque window with wooded views. Great place to enjoy your morning coffee, mingle, read/write, and birdwatch!

This finished basement is designed for fun, relaxation, or remote work.

Highlights include a 65" Roku Smart TV, an electric fireplace, Pac-Man arcade with 12 games, Giant Connect Four, board games, books, kid toys (including baby books/toys), yoga/flex area with mats, table that doubles as a second dedicated workspace, sofa bed, queen air mattress (in closet). Perfect for family movie nights or gaming. We also provide slippers so you can stay cozy!

🌲 Outdoor Lounging

Step onto the new deck and enjoy a 2-burner BBQ grill (propane and grilling utensils provided - utensils in Kitchen cabinet), a gas fire table (propane provided), Seating for 6 with umbrella, Outdoor games like cornhole, ladder toss, and giant Jenga (stored in Laundry Room).

NOTE: Deck and patio furniture, including grill and fire table are available only from April 1 through October 31.

Surrounded by mature trees and bordered by a nature preserve, it’s peaceful, private, and perfect for unwinding.

Enjoy access to a mini crib (3" firm mattress, waterproof cover, sheets - located under bed of Main Bedroom), pack-n-play (located in Basement closet), baby gates (located in Laundry Room), baby bathtub (located in Basement Bathroom closet), Toddler potty seat (located in Main Floor Bathroom), swing tray booster (located in Main Bedroom closet), Kids' dinnerware and utensils (located in Kitchen cabinet), Toys and books (located in Basement shelving and closet).

- There is a brand new eco-friendly washer and dryer in the Basement. We limit guests to 2 washing cycles per stay (additional cycles available for stays over 7 nights). Pods / dryer sheets provided.

🅿️ Parking & Access

Gravel driveway with space for 3 vehicles. Do NOT park on concrete patio under deck. There is no Electric Vehicle (EV) charging on the property — you can visit the Tesla charger 5 mins down the road. Note: Moderately steep slope — AWD is recommended in winter! In the winter months, we ask that you park at the top of the driveway in front of the big windows (without blocking driveway entrance) so our snow plowing service has clearance. They will come once the snow is ~2 inches and will also shovel/salt the patio and deck space.

🧼 Professionally Cleaned Before Every Stay!

We want you to feel like you’re arriving at a peaceful, hotel-quality retreat with the comforts of home. After each stay, our home is professionally cleaned to ensure it’s spotless, welcoming, and ready for your arrival.

The $150 cleaning fee helps cover:
✔️ Thorough sanitization of all high-touch surfaces
✔️ Freshly laundered linens and towels
✔️ Deep cleaning of bathrooms, kitchen, and living spaces
✔️ Restocking of essential items like coffee, paper goods, soaps, and more

NOTE: There is a strict 6-person limit (this includes children and infants). This is per state and local requirements.

Don't forget your log-in info to stream from your favorite platforms (Hulu, Netflix, Max, etc.)

We also ask our guests to be mindful of the sensitive neighbors with small children next door... at the same time, acknowledge the potential for neighborly noise (ATVs, property maintenance, children playing). We strongly advise keeping to the grassy areas around the house and out of the wooded area between houses as their "no trespassing" signs are not visible during full foliage.

Your safety is important to us. For that reason, we've installed exterior security cameras to monitor the driveway, pole building/garage, property line and all entrances to the home. They record video and sound when motion activated. Non-recording noise monitors are used inside (main floor sitting room) and outside (above porch) to enforce state & local required Quiet Hours (10pm - 8am daily). There are also smoke and carbon monoxide detectors and fire extinguishers on the premises. There are also fire escape ladders located in each room on the second floor. The staircases inside the home are on the steep side and taller people could potentially bump their head when entering the basement. Please be careful when using all steps/stairs and do not climb or lean on any outside stair / deck railings. Additionally, in winter months please be aware of potential ice fall from the roof. Please see house rules for more information.

This property is located in the woods. That's part of its charm, but please note that this means more bugs, spiders, and other wildlife. Bring mosquito spray! We have regularly scheduled pest control but do want guests to be aware that bugs may happen. Also, watch out for deer when traveling.

Please note the MAIN thermostat is set to 68-74 degrees year-round and cannot be adjusted by guests - message us and we are happy to adjust to your preferred temperature! There are also NEW mini split air conditioning / heating units in the top floor bedrooms (these will be set to a reasonable temp for the season and cannot be adjusted by guests). We also have ceiling fans and highly efficient tower fans in each bedroom for your added comfort. In the Basement which trends on the cooler side, there is an electric fireplace, slippers, and throw blankets which you are welcome to.

Please consider trip insurance as we follow a strict cancellation policy.

If there are minors in your party that you are NOT the parent or legal guardian of, we require a notarized letter of permission from the parent or legal guardian stating that you have their consent to be physically and legally responsible for the minor(s) during their stay. This must be emailed promptly after your booking is accepted or we will ask you to cancel your booking.

This property in its operation as a tourist rooming house follows all state and local requirements and conditions to maintain the predominantly single-family, owner-occupied character of the surrounding area.
