New A-Frame Cabin Retreat w/Hot Tub in the Poconos

Just launched! Mori A-Frame is a newly built minimalist cabin in the Poconos thoughtfully designed by two architects—who also happen to be your hosts! Located in a quiet, wooded community in East Stroudsburg, our design centers on providing a serene and restorative retreat. We hope you enjoy staying at our getaway home as much as we do.

LIVING ROOM

KITCHEN & DINING
● Fully equipped kitchen for cooking and baking: induction cooktop & electric oven, dishwasher, fridge, microwave, blender, rice cooker, waffle maker, toaster and electric hand mixer.
● Filtered water on tap
● Thoughtfully stocked coffee station with a Chemex, French press, AeroPress, and coffee grinder + an assortment of tea bags.
● The kitchen counter seats 4 and the dining table comfortably seats 6.

BEDROOM & BATHROOMS
● Primary Bedroom (Upstairs): Vaulted ceiling, king bed, closet.
● Two Bedrooms (Downstairs): Each with a queen bed and closet.
● Two Full Bathrooms: Upstairs has a walk-in rain shower. Downstairs features a soaking tub.
● Mori A-Frame sleeps up to 6 guests comfortably.
● Please note that the Primary Bedroom does not have room darkening shades.

PIZZA OVEN
● Put your pizza-making skills to the test with our outdoor oven setup. Bring your favorite dough and toppings—we provide the tools, including pizza peels and a 24"x36" acacia wood board for prep.

● Dedicated desk in the open loft

FAMILY-FRIENDLY FEATURES
● Pack ‘n Play crib & high chair available upon request
● Child safety gate for top of stairs available upon request (use at your own risk)

PET POLICY
● We welcome up to 2 well-behaved dogs (sorry, no other pets)
● All pets must be listed in the reservation. Pet fee will be calculated automatically. At the time of booking, please message the host with how many dogs you will be bringing.
● No unattended dogs inside
● Please clean up after your dog

HOUSE RULES
● Quiet hours: 10 PM to 8 AM
● No unregistered guests or parties
● No smoking inside the house. (Outdoor smoking is fine - please dispose of cigarette butts properly)
● No shoes inside - please remove them in the foyer
● Cover the hot tub when not in use
● Never leave the fire pit unattended
● Close patio doors when the fire pit is on (this helps prevent smoke alarms from going off!)
● Do not leave food or trash outside
● Please report any damages right away
● Any checkout after 11 AM may incur a late checkout fee, as we often have new guests arriving the same day and need to prepare the space.

● Fresh linens, towels, sheets, and duvets are all provided
● Central A/C and heating throughout, with a separate thermostat upstairs for max comfort.

● There are 3 exterior security cameras for guest safety: One facing the driveway, one at the front door, and one facing the backyard.

Guest access
Guests will have access to the entire home except for the owner's closets and crawl space.

Other things to note
● Our home is nestled in the woods of the beautiful Pocono Mountains, where you're likely to see and hear plenty of wildlife—including deer, bears, racoons, snakes, birds, and all kinds of insects. While the house is new and well-maintained, it's possible that insects may occasionally find their way indoors, which is part of being in a forested environment.
