Located in Deep Gap, this cabin is a dream. With 4 bedrooms (1 king bed, 3 queen beds, and 1 sofa bed), this adorable retreat is perfect for families or groups of friends. Enjoy the peaceful surroundings and modern amenities like WiFi, AC, and a washing machine. One bathroom features a shower, bidet. Second bathroom features bath or shower and third bathroom has walk in shower. All bathrooms have towels, washcloths, hairdryers, hand and bath soap and shampoo and conditioner for your convenience. Our cabin is located on 5 acres just 2 miles from the Blue Ridge Parkway, 11 miles from Boone, 12 miles from Blowing Rock, and 13 miles from the beautiful quaint town of West Jefferson. For the slope lovers, it’s only 22 miles to Sugar Mountain in Banner Elk. Relax by a fire pit with music, play poker, corn hole, puzzles, or board games. Our home is great for those that love to fish, golf, or hike. Dining in is easy with groceries only 7.5 miles away and is great for long or short stays.

Our family is from Florida and enjoy being close to our VERY LARGE family. However, mountain time is always calling so we enjoy all that nature has to offer here in Deep Gap, NC. This is a place to enjoy hiking, lazy rivers, zip lining, skiing, waterfalls for swimming, and beautiful golf courses. We hope to share our home with those that enjoy Mother Nature and all she has to offer. We’re happy to say there’s something to enjoy for individuals of all ages. Whether it’s dining, hiking, golfing, reading, swimming, or relaxing or eating s’mores by a fire…you can find it here in the beautiful high country. With the Blue Ridge Parkway only 2 miles away, it is easy to take a leisurely drive to enjoy the historical overlooks that offer beautiful photo ops. I only hope people enjoy making memories here with those they love as much as we have.

Our cabin is nestled in nature with approximately 5 acres in a quiet neighborhood. It is only 7.5 miles from the grocery store and only 3 miles away from local stores or produce stands for simple staple items. We are located 11 miles from Boone, 12 miles from Blowing Rock, 13 miles from the quaint town of West Jefferson, and for skiers, a short 22 miles from Sugar Mountain located in Banner Elk. There are golf courses within 15 minutes including Mountain Aire Golf Course and Boone Golf Club. We like that the incidents of crime is this area are unremarkable. The neighbors are always friendly and respectful. We like the quiet life this area offers while still having the conveniences of stores and restaurants and night life nearby.

This home in Deep Gap offers a quiet stay with 4 towns within 11-18 miles away. Each have their own personality. For that quaint small town vibe, West Jefferson is the place. The shops and restaurants are great and a casual vibe that only West Jefferson offers. For those that like a social, lively, and youthful vibe, the wonderful and popular town of Boone has it all. From great food, events at the beautiful Appalachian State University, shopping and sports bars, there’s something for everyone. Blowing Rock with its beautiful gardens, waterfalls, and parks, it is easy to enjoy outdoor picnics, catch and release fishing. Though Blowing Rock offers casual outdoor dining with live entertainment, you can also enjoy the option of upscale dining. As for the family events that include little people, enjoy Robbin’s Pool with waterslides and picnic tables in the beautiful Broyhill Park located near pizza and ice cream only one block away. For days with cooler weather, there is always the beautiful children’s playground with lots of shops geared towards children and adults alike. Wilkesboro offers lots of popular fast food options for those easy nights in without cooking. You will find Lowe’s, Marshalls, Kohls, Sally’s Beauty Supply and other shopping options. Each of these towns have their own personality with something for everyone. All the while, enjoy your retreat to our home for peace and quiet when you’ve had a full day of fun that all the surrounding towns have to offer.
