A 2BR/2BA cabin that sleeps 5, five minutes from Sunset Rock Overlook and the trailhead to seven waterfalls. Close enough to the highway for an easy arrival, far enough into the woods for a real escape — built for families who want comfort and adventurers who want a basecamp.

The Space

Two bedrooms, two full bathrooms — plenty of room and privacy for families or groups. The primary suite has a rustic-style bed, a small workspace, and an en-suite with a walk-in shower behind a sliding barn door. The second bedroom shares a full bath with a tub/shower combo, easy for washing off trail dust or bathing kids. Each bedroom has its own TV; the living room has a large-screen TV for movie nights. Sleeps 5 (4 in beds, 1 on the couch — worth knowing if you're traveling with grandparents or little ones). The open-plan kitchen has a big island with bar stools, stainless appliances, a coffee bar for early starts before a hike, and a laundry room for washing gear or kids' clothes after a day outside.

Outdoor Space

Step out onto the wooden deck — grill dinner after a day on the trails, or just relax while the kids wind down. A loop driveway makes towing trailers or kayaks easy. The driveway is shared with one neighboring property, clearly marked with no-trespassing signs, and we're a quick call away if you need anything.

Location

Five minutes to Sunset Rock Overlook. Hiking trails, kayaking spots, and state parks are all close by, plus the kind of waterfall-hopping day trip locals brag about — seven in a single day, if you're up for it. Two miles east of Sparta for restaurants, groceries, and supplies, with quick highway access if you want to range further. Equally easy whether your day's plan is "trailhead by 8am" or "playground, then nap."
