Incredible cabin right on Norris Lake — the views alone are worth it. The space was clean, well-stocked, and had everything our group needed to relax and get out on the water. Spent most of our time on the lake and came back each night to a great place to unwind. Location is unbeatable for boating — easy access and beautiful scenery in every direction. Would book again without hesitation. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a true lake escape

Our family reunion was enjoyed by everyone. You provided all we could want for lots of lake fun. Your rental met all our needs and was enjoyed by all. The stairs to and from the deck was the greatest challenge, especially for older members of our group. The many carts parked along the path made it almost impossible to access using the cart path. Thank you for sharing your VRBO home with us.

Great Family Getaway!

We had 14 people from our family stay at this property and we had more than enough room for us all to not feel crowded. We enjoyed the dock with the slide and the owner having Kayak's available was nice for the kids to go and play in the lake. We did use the community pool which was nice for the little kids. Would recommend this property for anyone staying in the Norris Lake area.

Nice property right on the water. We had everything we needed and had a great week! All necessities are there and more. Walking path was wonderful to stroll by the lake. My only suggestion would be some dock maintenance and some tree trimming to help with view of the lake:)

Jennifer, Thanks for staying with us and so glad you enjoyed your time at Dockside Dreaming. We agree on the dock...long story short, starting in December 2018, we had contracted to have a new dock built and delivered in April 2019 but ended up having to engage legal counsel due to lack of performance. We have resolved that issue and are working to engage a new dock builder and fully expect to have a brand new dock later this fall.

The property was clean and well maintained. The owners were very helpful and responsive. Lake was beautiful. The only complaint would be the amount of stairs from the house to the lake but it is what it is. Overall, we had a great family vacation!

Propietario/a: Amy Larsen

Imagen de perfil del propietario o de la propietaria

Hi there! We are Adam & Amy, and we have three incredible kids: 25-year-old Andrew, who proudly serves as a First Lieutenant in the U.S. Army, and our 19-year-old twins, Ashton and Ally.

Our story began on the shores of Lake Keowee in South Carolina, where we raised our family surrounded by sunshine, boat days, and laughter echoing off the water. The lake life wasn’t just a lifestyle—it was a part of who we are. Those years gave us unforgettable memories, and they inspired something even bigger: the desire to create a space where others could feel that same magic.

Though we've since relocated to Cincinnati, our hearts are still anchored to the water. Adam is in the industrial equipment industry, and Amy is the heart and soul of our home, making everything—from everyday life to lake weekends—extra special.

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

Our lakefront retreat located inside of the gorgeous Lakeside Estates on Norris Lake is a reflection of everything we’ve ever loved about being together as a family. From lazy mornings with coffee on the dock to all-day fun in the sun, we’ve designed this home to be your place for rest, reconnection, and adventure.

We truly believe that life is better at the lake—and we’re so excited to share this special place with you. Whether you're planning a family reunion, a getaway with friends, or just a quiet escape by the water, we hope our home becomes part of your story too.

With warm wishes and lake vibes,

Adam & Amy
