Redwood Retreat in Camp Meeker!
Tucked away in the redwoods of Sonoma County, this peaceful 2-bedroom, 3-bathroom cabin offers a timeless blend of vintage charm and modern comfort. Ideal for up to four guests, the space is designed for rest, reflection, and reconnection with nature. Whether you're unplugging or exploring nearby trails and wineries, this retro-modern sanctuary makes the perfect escape.
Surrounded by Towering Trees:
Located on a quiet private road in Camp Meeker, the cabin immerses you in the sights and sounds of the forest. With no TV in the home, you’re encouraged to disconnect, breathe deeply, and enjoy the slower pace. Spend quiet mornings on the deck with coffee and birdsong, or enjoy stargazing at night beneath the canopy of redwoods.
Stylish, Comfortable Living Areas:
Inside, mid-century furnishings and curated vintage accents create a warm and inviting open-plan space. The main level includes a sunlit lounge with forest views, a dining table for meals and games, a full bathroom, and a fully equipped kitchen. Step outside onto the large deck for alfresco meals or evening drinks under the trees.
Two Bedrooms, Three Full Bathrooms:
The lower level features two cozy bedrooms, comfortably sleeping four guests. The primary bedroom offers wooded views and a private en-suite bath. The second bedroom sits next to a third full bathroom, ensuring privacy and comfort for all. Each bathroom is stocked with towels, soap, shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel.
Space to Work or Unwind:
Perfect for remote work or creative pursuits, the cabin includes a dedicated workspace and fast Wi-Fi. A downstairs den provides a second lounge area, ideal for reading, journaling, or enjoying a quiet evening indoors. The absence of a television enhances the experience of mindful, screen-free relaxation.
Fully Equipped Kitchen:
Prepare meals with ease using the stove, oven, refrigerator, microwave, toaster, blender, and dishwasher. Cooking basics such as pots, pans, salt, pepper, and oil are included, along with dishware, silverware, a coffee maker, and BBQ utensils. Outdoor dining furniture lets you enjoy meals surrounded by forest.
Modern Comforts & Safety Essentials:
Stay cozy and prepared with heating, a washer and dryer, hangers, a drying rack, an iron, and a hair dryer. The cabin is also outfitted with a smoke alarm, carbon monoxide detector, fire extinguisher, and first aid kit for peace of mind during your stay.
Pet-Friendly Outdoor Living:
This pet-welcoming home features sun loungers, a patio space, and plenty of shaded deck area for relaxing. Pets and people alike will enjoy the fresh air, forest paths, and outdoor freedom. Free on-site and street parking add convenience for your daily adventures.
Explore Sonoma’s Best Nearby:
Located just minutes from the Russian River, Occidental, and Sebastopol, the home is perfectly positioned for exploring wineries, breweries, hiking trails, and charming towns. After a day out, return to your quiet forest base to recharge in nature’s calm.
Important Notes:
Please be aware that the property spans multiple levels and includes stairs, which may not be suitable for guests with mobility concerns. Cell service can be spotty due to the remote location, although WiFi is strong throughout the cabin.
Guest access
Guests will have full private access to the entire cabin, including:
✔ The main floor with the kitchen, dining area, living room, and half bath
✔ The lower level with two full bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a fun hangout den
✔ Two private decks for relaxing and enjoying the fresh air
✔ On-site parking for easy access
You’ll be able to check in via lockbox, so you can arrive at your convenience. The cabin is yours to enjoy—whether you're lounging inside, exploring the nearby trails, or unwinding on the deck.
If you need anything during your stay, we’re just a message away!
Other things to note
TV Info: Heads up... There's NO TV here—just birdsong, tree views, and plenty of peace and quiet. Think of it as a screen-free escape (unless you count the stars).
Stairs: The cabin has multiple levels, including stairs to the lower floor and decks. It may not be suitable for those with mobility concerns.
WiFi & Cell Service: While we have high-speed WiFi, cell service may be spotty in some areas due to the remote location.
Wildlife: You’re in nature! Expect to see (or hear) deer, birds, and other wildlife. Please do not leave food outside.
Pet-Friendly: 2 Well-behaved dogs are welcome! Please clean up after them around the house and anywhere in Sonoma county and keep them off furniture. A small pet fee may apply.
Families with Kids: We truly enjoy hosting families, but please be aware that our home isn’t a good fit for young children under 12, including infants and toddlers. There are several high decks, lots of stairs, and the space hasn’t been child-proofed. Things like glass doors, sharp corners on furniture, small decorative items within reach, and a glass-walled shower (no bathtub) could pose safety concerns. The decks can also get slippery in wet weather. For peace of mind, we recommend our home for adults and older kids who can safely navigate the space.
Seasons & Weather: The cabin is cozy year-round! In winter, snow chains or AWD/4WD may be required due to mountain roads.
We want you to have an amazing stay—let us know if you have any questions!
