Beautiful and peaceful house. Host was responsive and they put extra effort into a few thoughtful touches to welcome us as they knew we were renting the night of our wedding! Modern house and lots of extra features and amenities.

The cottage was beautiful. Very clean, the owner's had everything you could ever need available from soap and dishes, to extra activities and dog beds! We would absolutely stay here again.

Beautiful, pet friendly home with excellent views. Deck area was completely fenced in so we didn't need to worry about having our pet escape while she hung outside with us.

We had a good stay overall and appreciated Chris’s hospitality. The home was comfortable and had everything we needed for a weekend trip. There were some bugs that took away from the experience, but otherwise everything was in great condition. We especially loved the deck and the view, it was definitely a highlight. I was so relaxed I even ended up falling asleep by the fire pit! With a few improvements, it could be an even better place to stay.

Since the home is near the river and surrounded by nature, insects outdoors are part of the environment, especially during warmer months. We do regular pest control, but we always like to be transparent so guests know what to expect. We’d love to host you again!

Perfect hosts!! The cabin was so welcoming, clean and made me feel as if I were home. I love the decor and style of the cabin(I’m definitely going to copy.) I love how accommodating everything was, even my dog was thought of.

This is a beautiful property which is essentially brand new-only about a year old! The kitchen is very well-stocked, perfect for preparing meals. The beds were comfortable and the deck was great for grilling and spending time by the fire pit. It is secluded but we had no time finding the place. Conveniently located near the town of Luray with quick access to Shenandoah for hiking.Only recommendation is for light sleepers to bring an eye mask-there is a lot of beautiful natural light but it can wake you up early in the summer months!

What a beautiful home to spend time in. Tucked up on a beautiful mountainside with all modern amenities; great wifi service, indoor and outdoor cooking and deck/fire pit places to sit and enjoy the view. Check-in and check-out was seamless and communication prior to arrival was amazing. Just book it, you won't be sorry!

Beautiful property and extremely clean. The kitchen had every kind of seasonings, pots n pans, baking pans, storage bags, coffee, etc. All you need to bring is what you want to eat/cook and your clothes. The hosts are very friendly and respond quickly if you have any questions. Great place to stay!

This home was immaculately clean with all the creature comforts of home and absolutely stunning views. The hosts were on top of everything making sure we had all we needed along with sightseeing destinations, recreational activities and restaurants the area consisted of. A binder provided any and all information such as trails & hiking routes on the property as well as the surrounding areas. They even had a list of every emergency number we may have needed including my personal favorite, the nearest Veterinarian. Every detail was thought of which in turn made this trip so easy!

We had such a wonderful stay at this cabin! It was spotless, cozy, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. One of our favorite parts was spending time on the porch with a glass of wine while enjoying the peaceful views. We also loved cooking meals together in the well-equipped kitchen.Our small mini poodle had an amazing time exploring the open outdoor space and running around freely, which made the trip even more special since we normally live in an apartment. The quiet surroundings made it the perfect place to unwind and enjoy nature.If you’re planning a visit, I recommend bringing groceries so you can enjoy cooking at the cabin, taking time to relax on the porch, and exploring the beautiful scenery nearby. Overall, this was a peaceful and memorable stay, and we would absolutely love to come back!
