Settle in for a weekend getaway or longer at Shenandoah Drive. Twelve minutes from Downtown Luray Virginia and the famed Luray Caverns, twenty minutes from the Thornton Gap Entrance to The Skyline Drive and Shenandoah National Park. Our recently renovated riverfront house offers accommodations for 9 with a game room for the rainy days, Wi-Fi, kayaks and canoes, two fire pits, and more

Property was perfect for a weeklong getaway with friends and family. Super quiet and relaxing. Hosts answered immediately whenever we had questions. Would definitely stay again.

Wow. Beautiful riverbank location, amazing game room, surprisingly well-stocked kitchen with great appliances plus grill, and just the right size for our group of triathlon participants. Derek was extremely communicative and helpful. What a find!

We visited for my sons 18th Birthday! Although a short stay it was a great trip!The host communicated promptly, everything we needed was there to have fun. We canoed, fished, went swimming in the river, had a fire at night and played in the game room. The rooms and amenities were clean accomindating. Anything we didnt have we could go to walmart for. Quiet and secluded place, it was nice to relax and make some new memories. Thank you to the hosts!

Weekend getaway

We enjoyed our weekend on the river, was peaceful and quiet. The house is nice and clean, me and the boys really enjoyed canoeing and kayaking on the river, we caught a lot of fish, so that was awesome!

Perfect!

Great house, great hosts, great location. Had everything we needed and then some. Plenty of wood for fire pit. Kayaks were great and we had a nice easy float to a pull out about 3 miles down the river. Would not hesitate to rent again.

Peaceful river getaway

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The house is clean and was set up perfectly for us. The river is close and it was fun watching the deer. Overall a peaceful, relaxing vacation for our family. Derek was excellent with communication too.

Great Place

We had a wonderful stay. The house is clean and comfortable. Sons and grandsons caught a lot of fish. And it's convenient to town in case you forgot something. We'll be back.

Long weekend getaway before school starts

One of my favorite stays!! Owner is attentive and quick to respond. Property was just what we needed. Secluded but under 15 min to Walmart, Luray Caverns, hiking and dining options. Steps to the river. Enjoyed my morning coffee on the deck with the deer!

Relaxing river get away

We had family visiting from the UK, so we wanted a few days of relaxing by the river. This property did not disappoint! 3 bedrooms on the main floor and one in the basement. The 2 teenagers in our group where so happy to have their own space, right next to the pool table and TV area! Everyone had a great time in a well equipped and clean property.

WONDERFUL PLACE

Derek and his dad made this house feel like home away from home. The house was very clean, awesome basement space for family fun (pool table, surround sound TV, Foos ball, dart board), and outside living space. Our family enjoyed s’mores by the firepit with a beautiful view of the Shenandoah River. We used the grill and loved the back deck. We watched deer every morning and evening. If you’re looking for a secluded place for your family, book this property. You will not be disappointed!

Peaceful River Retreat

My family and I had a great time. The house has a large yard facing the river and lots of deer to watch. My kids loved seeing all of the deer so close by. Yhe house has a really nice basement which has a game room and large TV for movies, which we enjoyed. Its near a dead end road and so quiet and peaceful. The house was clean and roomy enough for a family of five. My only recommendation would be a newer coffeemaker as the one there wouldnt get clean enough to make coffee (lots of debris and residue in the carafe after numerous cleaning attempts). All in all a great place and we hope to go back.
