This home was set up to show to prospective buyers. It was not set up as a VRBO for a family to stay. On the first day, we were unable to get hot water for showers and had no response from the owner except, several hours later, “we will have that checked out.” I received no response when I requested a hair dryer on the first day. No hair dryer was provided, although it was stated on the description that it was provided. There was no TV in the entire home (as promised in the amenities section of the listing). We inquired about WiFi (again, part of the listing) and were told (late on the second day after asking 3X on the first day) that we had to purchase WiFi for 10 per person and would be reimbursed. The bed frame on the twin bed fell apart at 2 am on the first night. After inspection, it was not put together correctly and lacked the screws or connection to fix the frame correctly. The kitchen had only a few plates, cups and cutlery. I could not have cooked anything since there were no pots, pans, serving utensils, serving bowls, etc. The owners were slow to respond, sometimes 12 to 24 hours before a response. The response was only to apologize—not to fix any of the problems. I would not stay here again. VRBO should check this owner to ensure they follow through with what they say they are providing.
