They had a variety of games and puzzles and books which was nice property was clean. Noise level was not bad. The walk to the beach is easy just across the street and the beach is not crowded.

Our condo was in great shape and well equipped. Clean property with a wonderful pool and bbq area. Would highly recommend.

My stay at Anchorage 2

The TVs were terrible to work need batteries and instructions. The beach chairs were in terrible shape had to get from someone else and lock on beach stuff no good so I'm sure the chairs were moved. The coffee pot was bad and no one told us you needed special filters. Rugs dirty under bed and in master bedroom. Would not stay here again.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We rented condo #317 because the condo that we originally booked at a different location was no longer available due to renovations. We were offered this condo as a second option. Our first impression was the outside hallways and we thought 'oh no, what are we in for'. They are dark and somewhat musty smelling. However, the inside of the condo was bright with no unpleasant odors. The living space was large, comfortable and decorated nicely. The kitchen was very nice and stocked well. Both bathrooms looked dated and in need of updates. However, they were both clean. The balconies are not spacious but were stocked with tables and comfortable chairs. I am very particular about cleanliness and this condo hit that mark nicely. Also we did not encounter and bugs in the condo. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and we would recommend this condo.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have been coming to Anchorage 11 for almost 30 years and have always had a great vacation and accommodations we always an A+. We after 30 years this will be our last year. The main reason is the pettiness of the rules.1, No smoking on the entire property including parking lot or you get fined $500.00.2, Two ugly pilons with signs that say "Stay off the ropes in the pool. Just takes away from the whole pool experience. 3. Pool now closes at dusk instead of 10:00 PMAccommodations were less than desirable. 1, Condo needs to be completely cleaned. Both bathrooms had mold under the shower handles.2, Some of the walls need to be wiped down. Visible wires in both bathrooms. Very shotty workmanship. Screen on patio door needs to be replaced, it has a worn hole all the way across the door. The condo itself needs to be updated. I understand there will always be rules and issues but we have never experienced anything likes this in 30 years.

Rick and Sandy It makes me so upset and sad to hear how disapointed you two were with the Anchorage II. We understand the changes have been made do put a damper on the experience but the HOA is trying to make rules that will help all to enjoy their stay. I've spoken with housekeeping and have the condo in great shape. Please do consider coming and staying at Anchorage I. We have great units in this complex and a totally different HOA.

Anchorage delivers clean, updated, and wonderfully appointed accommodations. With something for everyone, this property is family first. The private beach promises little over crowding. Many various types of units fit every budget. The staff is always helpful and willing to make your stay the best possible. We have continued our visits to Anchorage and with the hopes our children will bring theirs there. We may never be able to afford an oceanfront condo, to own, but this experience make you feel like you do!

Vacationing at the Anchorage II

Some thoughts: The new owner has done a great job of blending the old and the new. Nice job on refreshing the shower curtains and bedspreads. I really like the change in furniture position in the downstairs smaller bedroom. LOL - while the couch looks pretty, it was difficult for me to get back up once I was seated. The porch furniture off the living room looked like it had been refurbished. (Nicely done). Back to 4 chairs instead of 3. My favorite spot. The swimming pool was inviting. Loungers, tables and chairs are plentiful. I have been enjoying this condo off/on for many years. It is maintained beautifully. They only negative was the people below us. They were smokers. (Weed and Cigarettes) Plenty of parking. Parking lot and grounds have curb appeal.

Ocean view condo

We love this property! We have rented here numerous times (with the previous owner and now with the new owner). We love the location. We always rented, when our kids were younger, in July or August. However, we really enjoyed September this year. Only small complaint is the lack of porch furniture on the main deck...another chair or two (above the rail type) would be great!

We were in for the Ripken Experience baseball tournament. It was a great location for many of the team families with easy beach access and a nice pool. A little more affordable than some of the high rise condos but all we needed.
