Clean but dated

Had to have a bracelet and check in with office before checkin, kind of pain. Had family give us a ride from key west, asked if they could stay night,as capacity was 6 and that would be eight for one night, so they would not have to drive back, denied. But that is the rules. Coffee pot did not work first morning, but replaced same day. Would not stay again

Nice place, some frustrations

The property is great. Tons of parking and self parking is permitted. There is access to 2 nice pools (not too crwoded while we were there) and to the beach. Great work-out area. Very nice and responsive staff. It was a pain to have to wear a red plastic bracelet for our entire stay to access the pool etc. The unit was noisy, with a series of clicks and bangs as fans went on and off. The hot water was not especially hot, although, my wife thought that at maximum heat it was just right for her. But it was great for two of us, and it has 4 queen beds and two bathrooms, so it could accommodate two families easily. Hallandale/Hollywood is a great central place to be in southern Florida and it was a short drive or walk to Publix, CVS and they are building a Walmart just over the intercoastal.

Perfect for a family of 6

Family of 6, all over age of 18 enjoyed this location and unit. Well staffed, always saw security walking around, nice pool and beach access. Plenty of space in unit with nicely equipped kitchen. Communication was great. Will stay here again!

Fine Unit, Complicated After-Hours Check-In and a lot of rules

The complex and location are both fine. I wish more was within walking distance but it’s not unbearable as ride shares are available and cars are allowed onsite. The unit is clean, sometimes appears “refurbished,” but is not unacceptable by any standard. To be able to walk in any exterior door without being buzzed in requires a fob you pick up from the guest services desk. You also have to wear a wristband at all times to access facilities to show you payed your resort fee, and pick up a parking permit that allows you to get into the parking lot. These are all fine, however, you cannot obtain any of the above except during the hours of 9-5 and with your entire party present. If you are checking in after hours and your traveling companions are not early risers that makes doing anything (even just leaving and coming back to the parking lot) a hassle. It would make much more sense to me to be able to pay this over the phone or pay it to the front desk upon arrival if declared to be arriving after hours. There are also rules for what elevators can be used for luggage, groceries, how long your beach towel can be in a chair without you being in it, not to mention the check-in. While I understand why these rules are in place, the constant signage for rules made it kind of hard for me to get into the vacation mindset. If you can arrive between 9-5, this place is fine, easy to get to the beach, good pools and and a nice enough unit. However, I would not recommend arriving after hours.

Perfect property, location, and service!

The property was as described (no surprises). Both the owner and property manager (Sandra) were GREAT hosts!!! Prompt response to all questions. Looking forward to booking same property again.

Nice, but loud

Location is close to beach, couple of pools you have access too…however it’s loud, from street noise, day remodeling, and constant noise from children running in the hallways…and I can’t leave out the midnight fire alarm, false of course, but the building was emptied and walking 11 flights, not fun. It’s a solid rental, clean, unit is well equipped…communication with Ana and Sandra is great, but it was noisy…

Very dirty condo, very disappointed

On arrival , parking people were not very friendly. Person behind the wicket of office was same. Had to pay condo/parking fees in cash. she wanted another $20 cash.. no explanation was given, when I asked what that was for.. I get “you get it back when u leave.” It was a rushed process. I felt I was being strip searched. Sandra met us at the condo, showed us around the grounds. She was friendly. The grounds were very beautiful, great beach access. Everything under lock and key. The condo was the same as in the pictures, nice, however it was very very dirty. I wish I could add my pictures because it was horrible. dirty taps, dirty mirrors. The showers were disgusting.. black dirt:mold all around both showers, horrible The doors and the whole place need a paint job. Bugs in kitchen cupboards, you could not leave food on the counter, all food had to go in fridge. Not enough seating for 6 people. Pool was slimy , yellow froth in pool. Skin Felt slimy when you got out. We addressed the bug issues with Sandra and we got a reply a day later .. “ I will let management know right away” Nobody came to do anything about it.! I paid a lot of money a night to stay here for 12 nights and it was not worth it. It needs a good deep clean and exterminator. Don’t waste your money !

Great week at this Condo

Condo is as advertised, very nice place and everything you need, property manager was there to meet us with keys to condo and provided all the info need, very easy to contact if needed. Everything was great with condo and management, however prior to meeting property manager for Condo Keys, you have to check in the Tides which was a painful process. We arrived Saturday afternoon and expected it to be busy. First you have to pay the parking person outside front door, they give you a piece of yellow paper, then you take that to a check in office with only two ppl working, 45 mins later it was my turn to check in. I was told all guest had to come in, my wife could not bring the two kids down the office hallway in the stroller because there were too many people so had to take them out, she had to be there so they could put a blue bracelet on any adult staying in room. Still not sure the purpose of the blue bracelet, cut it off on day two because it was scratching our baby. As for the parking, a $20 cash deposit is required for the parking tag, you then take the tag and yellow paper to your car, returned the tag on our last day to get my $20 back and needed the yellow paper as well so they could get reference number on that, they started looking through papers in a folder until mine was found with $20 case attached to it. We had a great week, the condo and building was great, they just really need to make the checkin process more efficient/modern.

Good experience

Good location, direct beach access through the pool which is very convenient with kids. That is the main reason we choose Tides. Kitchen has all necessary equipment to enjoy a short term vacation.

Great Vacation

Everything was exceptional. I'm not sure if I worked w Sandra or another office manager but she was absolutely amazing. Soon as we arrived she showed us around the building & apartment, helped with check in and parking pass. She gave advice on nice restaurants close by as well. Every day we was there, people were cleaning. The pool was excellent & the beach was steps away. There was always guys monitoring the pool & assisted w any questions or needs u had. The boardwalk is about 2 miles north but we drove of the evening closer & parking was always available & prices for parking were reasonable. We would definitely stay again. Wonderful relaxing vacation!

Great Family Vacation Rental

Stayed here for a week with our three kids and had a great time. The property was clean and the condo was as well. The check in process and parking was fine - we arrived during normal business hours so we didn't have any issues. Everyone was friendly. Some info I was looking for that was helpful: - Laundry is on the floor - we used almost every day with the kids - There was one roll of paper towels and enough toilet paper for our stay. Also a few trash bags, dish soap, hand soap in the bathrooms and dishwasher pods. We brought extras of all just in case. There was also a broom, small vacuum and a mop and bucket with cleaner. Vacuum didn't work that well. - There was salt, pepper, instant coffee and artificial sweetener. No other condiments or spices - Pots, pans, colander and a baking tray - Pack and play an high chair that were very clean and sturdy Overall felt pretty well set up. Enjoyed our stay and would stay again!

Condo nice. Management horrible.

The condo we stayed in had plenty of room for our family and was nicely decorated. Instructions to get into condo were adequate and easy to understand. Check in wouldn’t of been hard except the front desk worker was less than helpful. After traveling all day and arriving at 11 pm, the “valet” - or so his shirt said, collected our parking fee, told us to drop our bags, park our own car then carry our own bags inside. I thought “valet” meant some sort of help but that wasn’t the case. Check in man was rude and unhelpful, which was the case of all management for our entire stay. Walking around the property, there was scattered trash and the landscaping was not well kept. If the management at this property wants to play like they are “up scale” consider better maintenance and trash removal. I felt like we were inconveniencing them any time we asked for anything (like our key fob not being read to let us in and out). Don’t stay here.

Lots of fun in the sun

All was perfect. Check in process annoying and long. Bring extra toilet paper! Don’t forget salt and pepper and ketchup . Other than that it was perfect. Also, chair rental was 15 dollars a day ! They give u 2 free but any additional you have to pay for . Rip off. They should have extra beach chairs in the room for you to bring down . No restaurants on walking distance. Took Uber to adventura mall- great mall. Boardwalk shady people. Beach and pool were great just what we were looking for.

Clean property with a great environment

This condo was fantastic! Perfect for a group of 4 adults ! Sandra and Ana were great and so helpful! We will definitely be returning. I recommend this property to anyone and everyone.
