Beautiful and tastefully decorated apartment

We had a great trip to San Antonio and the garage apartment we stayed at was perfect for us. It was very tastefully furnished and had a beautifully functional kitchen area. Was very cozy and had all the little extras including a bottle of wine waiting to welcome you. The location worked well for us. Easy drive to the Texas hill country and a short bus trip downtown to River Walk and other downtown attractions. Also a short drive to the Brackenridge City Park, a must see destination (for us, anyway). The mass transit bus system is excellent and ties into the google map app on your smart phone for real time information. Overall highly recommended; we had a super stay.

Beautiful!

I stayed in this beautiful studio for two months. Everything was perfect. It’s clean, cozy, huge shower, comfortable beds, and the combination pad on the door is a plus. It is also very nicely decorated. It’s very private but Kristin was always available via text, if I had any questions. She is absolutely lovely. I never had any problems finding a parking space on the street, in front of the main house. You are 10-15 by car to downtown, the Botanical Gardens, The Pearl and many more attractions. Because of the beautiful neighborhood where is at, you will feel like one of the locals. Thanks Kristin!

Just what we needed

This garage apt was perfect for my daughter and me during our visit to UTSA and Trinity. The beds were so comfortable and the towels and sheets were very soft. We loved the decor and enjoyed exploring the neighborhood!

Wonderful and cozy

This is a wonderful and cozy place to stay. It is in a very nice neighborhood where we walked to dinner at local restaurants a couple of times. The apartment is nicely furnished, clean and easy to access, with all that you might need on for a stay. I cannot recommend using the loft bed due to the height and the ladder rungs look great but are not easy on your feet. I have used two lofts on recent trips and loved the cocoon feeling of sleeping in them. Unfortunately, I would have had to use shoes to climb up and down the ladder here, which is not good for the middle of the night bathroom trips. That said, we were only two, so we did not need the loft and the place was perfect for us. I can not recommend this apartment enough for a single, or double. It being a garage apartment made it even better as we did not have any concerns of having the tv too loud at night. Check in was easy and we felt safe. A quick Uber ride and your downtown or at the Pearl... and a comfortable walk to neighborhood restaurants.... it was perfect for us... perfect.

Cozy & conviently located!

This small lodging was super nice. Kristen, the owner, was very friendly & always answered my queries. However, the only thing that I would change is the iron steps going up to the loft. Not super great for a 53 year-old. I believe a wooden more sturdy ladder on a bit of an incline and better handrails would be more appropriate and safer. She left acomplementary bottle of wine and some chocolates. there is a small dog that barked every morning, but ear plugs with remedy that. Overall I would recommend this lodging.

Perfect Stay!

We truly enjoyed our stay in this wonderful guest house. It is rare when a place you have rented looks exactly like the pictures but this one does and it is a wonderful guest house. It is very convenient to the River Walk and the San Antonio Missions were we visited. I have already bragged/recommended this place to my family and friends! I will most definitely stay here again :)

The Bungalow

Loved it.

This was a really great place to stay! Close to downtown, it was the same price for parking as it is for an Uber, which made it better to Uber. The only drawbacks are that there's not really a sitting area, as the couch is a sleeper bed. We didn't touch the loft, we were a little nervous about the ladder, I'm over 300 lbs, but we're we probably overly cautious. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would stay here again!

Great stay close to the city!

My wife and I spent our honeymoon at this little guest house and loved it! The place was clean, quiet, and at an ideal location close to most of the sites that you would want to visit. We hope to come back and stay here for our anniversary in the future.

This is a great place to stay if you are visiting San Antonio. Perfect house for two people!

We had a great stay! It was more then we expected so cozy and comfy. Loved the notes that explained how everything worked and the binder of close grocery stores and attractions in San Antonio. Thank you for a great experience definitely will stay again.

Fabulous!

It's nice and modern. The owner was very responsive and let us check in about an hour early, which we greatly appreciated. There was nice little printed notes informing us how to work the TV, Wifi, AC, etc. My wife and I found that the bed in the loft was more comfortable than the downstairs one. We would stay there again if we went back.

Quaint, Quiet, Retreat

My boyfriend and I are so happy we chose this property! The property owner was very nice and responsive when we needed her. We didn’t run into any issues with the property at all— so we didn’t really need her much. Because of the nature of our visit, we didn’t spend much time at the property because we were out exploring, but Kristin made that easy, too! When you first arrive there are a whole book of recommendations! All and all our stay was very enjoyable, and I would love to know where Kristin got that sofa/bed/couch thing because we want it... it was incredibly comfortable and awesome to come back to after a long day in the heat walking around! Thanks for the stay!

Very modern layout that accommodates couples, singles, or small families very nicely. It is also suitable for someone on a business trip as the property is located just north of downtown and is situated between both major highways for easy access around the city.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

The space is filled with natural light and the windows and skylights let you enjoy the surrounding tree canopy. The loft area has a skylight just over it so you can read/or sleep up there and enjoy the tree right outside. The structure also sits at the rear of the property, so it is very quiet.
