Increíble retiro del río con vistas al río Sacramento.
Disfrute de los días de descanso disfrutando de las vistas, la pesca, la observación de aves, los jacuzzis y un baño en la piscina. Excelente plano de planta para reuniones familiares y retiros de fin de semana. El lago Whiskeytown y el lago Shasta están a pocos minutos de la casa. Master suite con baño de mármol nuevo. Tres dormitorios adicionales, 2 con camas queen size y 4to con 2 camas queen. Sala de baño w / ducha sobre bañera y acaba de ser remodelado. Nuevo T. V y cable instalados en master así como en living. Internet wifi disponible. Servicio de limpieza disponible durante su estancia por un cargo adicional.

Our two families, 8 in total, from ages 2-50 had the best time at this home. We fished right out of our back door and caught bass and salmon! The kids swam and parents enjoyed the hot tub. It’s only 15 minutes from the sundial bridge and 30 minutes from Shasta Lake. We were 15 minutes from a grocery store and great restaurants. We prepared most of our meals in the home and had everything we needed. The home was comfortable and we really were able to escape from the hustle and bustle of life. Thank you to our beyond wonderful and flexible hosts! Communication was top notch.

Large, comfortable house with plenty of room for 8 people. One kid loved the piano, another the chess board and hot tub, the other spend hours fishing (didn’t catch anything). Lovely setting with a beautiful view of the river. Pool was clean and well-maintained. Kitchen well-stocked and lots of linens available. Nice spacious bathrooms and comfortable beds. Communication was good, but it would be helpful if they had an updated booklet for guests with step-by-step instructions (and photos) for some of the features like the hot tub and thermostat. We never did find the outdoor light by the pool! Overall a very pleasant, relaxing stay for a large family.

Peaceful Weekend Away

Our family enjoyed the home away from homeFor a family members wedding. The pool was wonderful for our family and the house provided plenty of seating chairs and pool toys. The view of the river was wonderful and the house was cozy and stocked well.

Peaceful and relaxing

We had a wedding in town. Took some great pictures on the back patios. Did a little fishing, caught my first rainbow trout. And spent a lot of family time in the pool. We will definitely be back.

Delightful getaway with our kids and grand kids

This was the ideal setting and location for a get together with our grand kids from Santa Cruz and grand kids from Redding. We loved this well cared for home. Very welcoming! It was spacious, very clean and just perfect for us. The views of the Sacramento river were mesmerizing. The kids and adults loved the swimming pool. We would love to stay here again. Thank you Molly!

Relaxing getaway

Beautiful house on the river! Pool was amazing! We brought our own pool floats/toys, but they had some floats in a bin as well. We had three adults and 4 kids, ages 6-11. You CAN fish off the backyard, but it’s really tough to do so - the river moves pretty fast and there’s no dock or anything (just a rail across the back, which is great for safety, but not so much for fishing, but with kids, our priority was definitely safety!). Hot tub was great too, though we actually turned the temperature down because it was 100+ degrees outside our entire stay. Kitchen is fully stocked, though we tried 3 different blenders before we found one that would turn on. Also, no outside lights around the pool - would have been nice to do some night swimming. House had extra blankets and was great because that’s usually one of my complaints when we vacation - not enough blankets - but this house had plenty! We had one incident in which the alarm went off on the sewage system, but I called the owner and she sent someone out right away - great responsiveness! Overall, didn’t impact our stay at all. Would love to come back!

Disappointed

My Family stayed at this Anderson river home six years ago and it was a positive experience. Earlier this month we were there for five days and the property is not what we were expecting. My grandkids had to wait for the pool guy to come out and do what he could. Unfortunately because the pool has a leak (determined by a leak detection company) told to us by the pool guy, he’s not able to put chemicals in the pool due to contaminating the surrounding water table. Finally two days after we arrived the pool’s sides and steps were scrubbed (by my family and the pool guy) and it looked so much better. We never got in the spa because it wasn’t clean and had a bad smell. The home was fine other than the first bedroom’s doorknob fell off and husband fixed it and the back bedroom door’s lower hinge was stripped and husband and son found a screwdriver and remounted it. Sorry this Vrbo was a disappointment. I should have checked to see if there were any recent positive reviews or any reviews in the last year. Homes along the Sacramento river are so special and in the future we look forward to returning to the area and trying another rental.

Enjoyable Stay

We enjoyed our stay. The views of the river were beautiful. We tried to fish, but unfortunately didn't catch anything. But, it was fun trying! The house was nice, big and as expected from the pictures. We were there for only 2 full days and it was extremely hot out. We had planned to use the pool all day both days, but the pool guy came around noon on the first day and added chlorine and said we couldn't use the pool for 4 hours. That was a disappointment to not be able to use it all afternoon when it was 115 degrees out. The owner gave us a small refund for the inconvenience which was unexpected. He did clean the pool though so the second day the pool was very enjoyable. For future vacationers, suggest asking the owner the pool maintenance schedule to set expectations. There wasn't enough kerosene in the bbq, but luckily someone had left some charcoal so we didn't have go out and find some. The dining table was large enough to accommodate all of us and the kitchen was well stocked with dishes, pots/pans, utensils, some cooking basics like spices, oils, coffee filters, etc. It was also great there were two refrigerators and freezers! There were plenty of beach towels for everyone for the pool and bath towels and shampoo/soap in the showers provided which was helpful. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and time together. It's a great house, and was a great location for us with a little something for everyone.

Stayed cool in the summer heat

Great location with a shady yard and river on one side and pool on the other side. The pool was warm and shady in the afternoon, perfect for swimming.
