Apartamento de 2 dormitorios sobre las aguas del Caribe con una increíble vista panorámica!

El apartamento "Manta Raya" es un muy bonito, nuevo y bien construido apartamento sobre el agua en Isla Colón, la isla principal del archipiélago de Bocas del Toro. Con nuestra ubicación única en el istmo de Isla Colón, obtenemos bonitas brisas marinas del Caribe y unas vistas impresionantes de la bahía de Almirante con las montañas continentales en la distancia. Es un gran lugar para ver las puestas de sol también. Somos un viaje en taxi de 60 centavos o 5 minutos en bicicleta desde todas las atracciones del centro de la ciudad y lo suficiente fuera de la ciudad para disfrutar de la serenidad.

Espacio
El apartamento está construido junto a la playa y permite disfrutar de hermosas vistas con poca gente del mar Caribe desde la terraza privada en la parte posterior (lado oeste / lado de la puesta del sol) del condominio. También hay un muelle privado aún más lejos sobre el agua para que los huéspedes se relajen en una hamaca, tomen el sol en una silla larga o se suban a kayaks / SUP para jugar en las tranquilas y transparentes aguas que rodean el muelle. Por supuesto, el apartamento está totalmente equipado con cocina completamente amueblada, aire acondicionado, TV, internet WiFi, ventiladores de techo, agua caliente, cuarto de lavado.

Acceso de invitados
Los huéspedes pueden acceder a la totalidad del espacio que consta de la sala de lavandería con lavadora y secadora, el área de la cubierta techada, nuestro muelle privado techado sobre el agua con sillas colgantes y hamacas, el estacionamiento frontal con el portabicicletas para que los huéspedes puedan guardar sus bicicletas o tomar un taxi desde la carretera principal.

Vista general del barrio
Estamos ubicados en la orilla de la bahía de Saigón en la isla de Colón y disfrutamos de un genuino estilo de vida caribeño. Nuestra ubicación nos permite captar la brisa desde cualquier lado de la isla porque está ubicada en un istmo muy estirado (ver foto aérea en la galería) en el camino a las playas más bonitas de la isla y un poco fuera de la ciudad (5 minutos Paseo en bicicleta o en taxi de 60cts.

Moverse
Es muy fácil moverse por el lugar y puedes tomar un Taxi amarillo desde el área de estacionamiento frontal. Los taxis son realmente asequibles, pero también puede optar por una bicicleta de crucero en la playa, que es la forma número 1 de moverse en Isla Colón. N. B: Los viajes en taxi desde / hacia el aeropuerto cuestan $ 2.

Otras cosas a tener en cuenta
La aerolínea AirPanama a menudo experimenta retrasos o cambios en su horario, así que tenga en cuenta este detalle al organizar vuelos dentro y fuera de Bocas del Toro. Tenemos solo 1 banco en Bocas Town que alberga los 2 únicos cajeros automáticos en todo el archipiélago y a veces se quedan vacíos durante la temporada alta, especialmente en días festivos, por lo que le recomendamos que tenga algo de dinero a mano para evitar largas colas en el cajero automático. .

Perfect spot for an in town stay

Our stay was great - the unit was perfect for us as a married couple traveling with our adult son; the two bedrooms and 1 bath unit was spacious and well equipped. We chose to stay a little closer to town so we could go back and forth a little easier and the location was terrific.

Wonderful place to stay in Bocas!

This upstairs apartment is in a wonderful location and has an absolutely beautiful interior. It was very well appointed and had everything we needed. The property manager was on-site and very responsive. Would highly recommend.

Perfect place on the water.

Stay was amazing. Everything is very close either by taxi or by foot. Property was well described. The manager Rebecca was very nice and helpful. And bocas del toro is a great place to vacation.

The house was perfect location just outside of town. On the water and across the road from the beach.. A perfect bike ride distance. Located 2 doors down from a grocery store. Will definitely stay here again!

Great stay!!

We stayed 2 nights in this great apartment with our 2 teenagers at the start of our Bocas trip! The location was great you are out of town but still close enough to walk or jump in a taxi! the market is right next door so makes it easy to grab supplies as needed! The kids LOVED swimming right off the deck it was calm and relaxing! The apartment had everything you needed and the host was super friendly and helpful! We would for sure return on another visit.

The property Manta Raya was very nice and Rebecca the host, was very helpful. The location was good. Outside of the downtown but close enough to walk if you want or a $1 cab ride. Nothing relative to the property but we did not love Bocas Del Toro as a whole. It was nice to visit and experience but it won't be on our short list to return to.

Great property!

We were in Bocas del Toro for two weeks and we spent a few nights at Vista Mar, a two bedroom apartment at Sterling's place. The little complex is great, several condos and villas grouped together, the people staying there were very friendly and the grounds were nice. It is located in a good part of Bocas, just outside the noise of the main city but close enough to get a quick taxi ride for about $0.50. We were very comfortable in the apartment and it had everything we needed for our stay, the view off the back dock was beautiful. Sterling was helpful and quick to respond to any needs. We would stay again!

Boca Beach Villas

Had a great time at Bocas Beach Villas. Stayed for a little over two weeks in February. The apartment was really well appointed, very clean and everything as advertised. Sterling was a gracious host and helpful for any needs and questions that I asked. I spent a week alone and had a great time teaching his son Stephen how to fish from the end of the dock with a hand line. We had a gas! My family came for the last week there and we really enjoyed the location, the proximity to town but enough out of town to be very tranquil. The use of a washer and dryer was a plus. The local beach across the street was a great spot for my daughter and I to boogie board and for me to catch up on my surfing skills before hitting really challenging waves at the different breaks. We didn't only rent a villa from Sterling but also a" state of mind"that allowed us to really relax and enjoy Bocas. Hats off to you guys! Look forward to returning next winter!

Family stay in Bocas

My family (4 of us, including pre-teen to teen daughters) just spent 4 nights in Bocas as part of a nine day stay in Panama. We all agreed that we should have booked a longer trip and included more nights in Bocas. Alas! We will return! Bocas is great! There are tons of opportunities to explore - if bored…take a water taxi to a new random beach. There is great food! Lots of beaches and tours! Granted,there are parts of Bocas that are pretty rough around the edges (like many Caribbean destinations, parts of the local population are struggling). But Bocas is in that sweet spot of authentic international travel (awesome location, not overrun by corporate travel nonsense, tons of options for fun, great food options, some iffy party scene nonsense, locals proud to share their amazing destination, non potable water, used toilet paper goes in the wastebasket, …). The property is clean, safe, and has an amazing communal dock for chillin’. We were very comfortable. Grocery store is a 2 minute walk. Town is a little bonkers…this property is just a smidge outside of loud town stuff. Rented bikes from the property for the duration - highly recommended. You can take taxis to and from town. Or walk 20 minutes each way - we did night 1. But bikes are way better. It’s a little iffy on your first ride back from town on bike at night, with crazy taxis zipping by, but you quickly learn that so many locals bike all day and night, that cars look out for all bikers. We also rented the kayaks for a day. Highly recommended. Rebecca is AMAZING!!! We’ve stayed at plenty of VRBOs, but have never had such a wonderfully friendly, helpful, and available host. She is an absolute DREAM! All heart. She was tremendously welcoming and an absolute gem for recommendations. Nothing but love for her and her family!!

Beach and Bay Bargain Bonanza!

A perfectly clean and functional., well appointed, tropical bungalow between surf and snorkeling. Delightful hosts. Equipment and rentals in good shape or fixed instantly. Walk to the store. Comfy beds. Don't hesitate, this is the place for the price.

Family get away

We had a wonderful stay at Santuarios Del Mar. Morgan was always easily available for any questions or advice. Bocas Del Toro is absolutely amazing and staying at Santuarios Del Mar made it even more amazing. Highly recommend staying here. Clean, comfortable, great location. The dock with the hammocks and swings was such a treat! Waking up to the views of crystal blue water with the mountains in the distances…magical. We all had a vacation of a lifetime.

Beautiful view of sailboats and bay, lots of steep steps

This property served our purpose. The beds are not very comfortable but the kitchen is well equipped, and the apartment is cute. Great property managers always available by text. There are bikes, paddle boards, snorkels and kayaks available to rent on site. The air conditioning worked well as did the wifi. Laundry facilities available for a small fee. The coolest thing is a private dock, with hammock, swing and net for laying on to view the fish, etc.

Home base for Bocas Del Toro exploring and adventures.

My family of five had a great stay here. It served as a good home base for island exploring, SCUBA diving trips, and fishing. There is a grocery store just a short walk down the street which makes it convenient for cooking your own meals.

Beautiful unit in a great spot!

Great spot on Isla Colon- a short taxi ride from town, where grocery stores, restaurants and shops can be found, but out of the city center (which was a plus for us.) Sterling takes impeccable care of his property- it is in great shape and is constantly undergoing regular maintenance. Lots of great details have been thought of- a trampoline for the kids, bioluminescent viewing net on the dock, very nice and spacious communal dock with hammocks, SUP and kayaks for rent, not to mention VERY helpful maps provided of the area at check in. Ludo, the property manager was very helpful also! We were traveling with 2 young children and had a great time here!

Great Over the water Apartment!

We stayed in the 2 bedroom apartment over the water and the view was wonderful! Really enjoyed relaxing on the covered dock. Everything was very clean and well maintained. Ludo & Sterling were very accommodating to anything we needed!

Apartment with nice view

We had such an amazing place to stay in with a great view. Very clean & comfortable! Ludo made our trip the best we could have. AC was a must, I could cook breakfast and dinner at this place. What I really enjoy was, they have everything you need to stay in; filtered water, paper towel, hot water, detergent dish, washer and dryer machine, and so on. I would recommend this place to my friends and I would come back again!

Lovely lofted apartment perfect distance from town.

We stayed for eight nights and had a fantastic time. Quick bike ride to town...Loved hanging out on the dock watching for spotted rays at night. Would recommend it for sure!

Vista Mar Rental

My wife and I stayed at both the Vista 1 and 2 during our visit to Bocas Del Toro. Both units were very clean and well maintained.The views from both units is spectacular, especially first thing in the morning and at sunset. The location of the property is perfect. Our main transportation was bikes that we rented directly from Sterling at a reduced cost. We could be in town in 5 minunts or Playa Bluff in 30. Sterling was a wonderful host. He was always available for questions/concerns but was never intrusive. I would not hesitate to stay here again and would recommend this property to family and friends.

Great place!

We loved our stay in Bocas at Sterling's place. The apartment is very clean and well maintained. Sterling and his staff were all very responsive to all of our needs. We were a bit disappointed in the ability to cook. There is a kitchen but it is small and the cookware is limited. We had planned to do some outdoor grilling but a grill was not available. The unit entrance is located on the second floor so there is no outside deck located off of the unit itself but there is a public dock area with great hammocks and chairs.

Beautiful place. Great locatioon. Sterling was quite helpful before and during our stay. Good times!

We were traveling with our 17 year old daughter. Very clean. Downstairs bedroom was very cool at night. Great for sleeping. AC worked great downstairs. Upstairs was warmer--but we still slept fine. The location was perfect for us. A quick 5-10 min bike ride into town or a 10 minute ride to watch the surfers at Bluff beach. Sterling was a gracious host--highly recommend!

My Name is Sterling. I moved here to Isla Colón from Hawaii in 2003 and I am loving it here more and more every day. I chose Bocas not only for it's beauty and laid back culture but also because I love the ocean and water sports. I finished building Santuarios del Mar in 2008 and have rented the units both short and long-term ever since!

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

"Manta Raya" apartment is a very nice well constructed Caribbean style apartment built with nicely finished hardwoods. Its setting over the water give it the feeling of being on a boat with exceptional views. There is a nice dock with a large covered area at the end with hammocks and chairs to lounge around in. I have Kayaks, SUP boards available to those who want to explore the bay or the Caribbean on the other side as well as surf boards and other water sports equipment.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

Aside from it's unique location on the Isthmus, it being on the main island has lots of benefits. Most of the nightlife and the restaurants are located on the Island the condo is at and there are lots of things to do and places to explore right here with a bike or getting dropped further up the road by a taxi.
