I don’t know quite how to leave a review but I feel I should. The apartment building itself and staff were both very nice. However, the communication and support from the host was not the greatest. I left my wallet in the room while on vacation. I hadn’t realized until I got back as I had my ID with me. When I contacted the host she informed me that the house keeper had found it while cleaning the room. Why hadn’t they reached out? Not sure but okay. I asked if they would be able to ship it (I made it clear I would pay for everything) but she insisted I had to come get it in person. We arranged for a time and day of when I could have someone get it. I then paid for a friend from college to uber there to meet with the maid to hand it over. The maid was not there. When I contacted the host she apologized and said she had already left and asked if she could come back another day. Red flag because we had already discussed this. I asked if they could hand it over to the front desk (in hopes to be able to arrange shipping) and the host said the house keeper would do so. I then got a notification that I had 57 left in my bank account. When I called the building and asked if they had my wallet they said they did not. I asked them to look everywhere it could possibly be and check the security cameras. They insisted they did not receive it. When I contacted the host again she argued it was handed over when it clearly wasn’t. I never really heard anything again.
