We loved this beach house! The home has all the amenities that we needed, plus a hot tub. The beach access is very close, and we enjoyed daily walks. The shops in town are great as well. Overall a very pleasant stay.

The view was great, and the location was perfect! Quiet neighborhood, well stocked house. Dog friendly with gated entrance. Not too many stairs for my elderly parents. I hope to come back again.

Loved this house! Perfect for 4 people. Fantastic location. You can see and hear the ocean. Added plus’s, the deck out front, totally fenced in yard and hot tub. We will definitely book again.

Bumbled Beach Bungalow

Great location! A few minutes walk and you're at the beach! You can see and hear the ocean from the house, very nice. However, it smelled musty upon arrival. All doors and windows had to be opened, air freshener sprayed. It does not sleep 6! The sofabed was very uncomfortable to sit on and inadequate for sleeping. You sank into the sofa and could feel the bed springs from underneath. We were 3 adult women, two of which had to bunk together. The hottub was extremely overpowering with chemicals! The jets could not be turned on because they created a toxic cloud that made us choke! The water overflowed out of the tub when getting in, as if whomever serviced it spilled an entire bottle of chemicals and tried to dilute it by filling it up with water. Afterwards, two showers were not effective to remove the chemicals from our bodies. Not usable for the rest of our stay! The master shower's water flow was really low and took forever to warm up. That made it more difficult to get the hottub chemicals cleaned off. Communications with the host were good until informed of the hottub situation, then no response at all!

Charming Home with Character

The home was perfect in every regard. The kitchen was well furnished with everything we needed. The beds were comfortable. The interior was decorated with sailing ships in every room. Our 4 y/o grandson was amazed! We greatly enjoyed playing chess on the board with over-sized pieces.

I’ve stayed at many vacation rentals, and this is one of the best. It’s one of the best because of the details. It’s well kept, and well appointed. And as a cherry on top, you can walk to the beach in 5-7 minutes. Highly recommended.

This is not my 1st stay at Sid's house and as usual the house was very clean and tidy. The house is well stocked and the views off the front porch were beautiful and peaceful.

Beautiful spot!

We all loved our stay! The house was perfect for the 6 of us (4 adults, 3 yr old & a 16 month old). It’s an easy walk down the trail to the beach, the front deck was a welcome sunny spot for afternoon chats and the back yard and hot tub were a welcomed and lovely bonus at the end of the day. The hosts were easily reached, check in and out were simple. The perfect beach getaway! We highly recommend it!

I came to the area for work and bright my family along. It was wonderful to stay at the house! We watched whales feeding for hours one morning and walked to ice cream everyday!

Great views and easy beach access!

The house was totally nice and very clean. We are a family of 4 with 2 college aged kids. We also brought our dog and it was a Perfect setup. Great location right above Seacliff beach and walking distance to shops and food. Backyard jacuzzi with outdoor shower was a nice plus! Highly recommend!

Lovely Place

The place was nice and cozy and had a lovely beach casual feel to it. The front deck with ocean view was a perfect spot to hangout with a small group and barbecue. Me, my husband, our 4 month old daughter and my parents stayed and we all loved it. We’d love to come back sometime. We brought a Pack n Play for our 4 month old to sleep in, which fit in front of the dresser by the French doors. It worked nicely for us as we did not need to use the dresser. The back yard is also very nice and inviting. Sid was easy to communicate with and provided all the info we needed for a wonderful stay.

Graduation Weekend

Great location and nice neighborhood. The place had everything you need. The sofa bed- meh. And on Tues am the gardner came into back yard, 8am with yard blower,,,, my door was open. But the front deck was my favorite place! I would come again.

Relaxing and convenient beach stay

My family (two teens, my husband, dog and I) had a great stay at the Beach Bungalow in Aptos. Property is super cute and clean. Close to restaurants, cafes and shops. Quick walk to the Beach. Water in the bathroom shower took a LONG time to get hot, but the hot tub was amazing and had a nice outdoor shower.

My Mom always wanted a beach home. She wanted to hear the waves breaking on the sand and feel the cool breeze on warm days. In 1989 she found her perfect Beach Bungalow but Dad said is was too much money. She wanted to share it with her new granddaughter from son #1 and I son #2 was going to get married. So I said I will buy half and our Beach Bungalow came to be. Many good times and memories. The 3 Grandkids are 21+ years and doing their thing. Dad passed in 2010 and Mom 88+ is in her own world. My Wife Angel, and I Sid, love to spend time at the beach and love sharing the Beach Home with others.
