The cabin is a jewel and perfect for a couple. Our host, Helen, was friendly, helpful, and available to answer any question we had about how something worked, for example. This property has all modern features and looks out on lovely Texas Hill Country views from one screened in porch and a deck off of the bathing porch. The queen size bed is comfortable and every room is thoughtfully appointed. You can see the care put into its every detail. The space does not have a standing shower, as it says in the listing, but the bathing porch is charming and the modern, freestanding bath is roomy enough for two. The bathroom arrangement is different in that the bathing room is on one side of the upstairs bedroom while the toilet room is on the other side of the bedroom. The layout works and the view from the bath is expansive. There is only one toilet/bathroom and it is upstairs. The house has everything you need for a longer stay than just a weekend. Helen has paid attention to every detail to make the stay as comfortable as possible.
