Venga a disfrutar de la maravillosa de la pesca, la natación, la diversión y la relajación en Thunderbird Point Resort!

Escuchar a la familia de somormujos cantar, observar aves o echar un vistazo a la alimentación de los ciervos en el borde y castores natación del agua. Ver águilas calvas se elevan por encima o por inmersión de sus capturas mientras descansa en la playa, nuestra plataforma de baño, hamaca o en el muelle por debajo de 100 pinos centenarios, junto al Lago Bobidosh. We had a wonderful stay at this cozy little log cabin! When we arrived, the host had everything set up to make us feel welcome — a bottle of wine chilling, lights on, and music playing. Such a thoughtful touch that set the tone for a relaxing getaway.The cabin itself is rustic but charming, with everything you need to enjoy time on the lake. We made full use of the kayaks, row boat, and fire pit, and had so much fun fishing — we even caught a few huge bass! While the weather was a bit chilly for late August and we didn’t get to swim, the beach area looked great and would be perfect on a warmer day.The hosts were awesome and made sure our stay was perfect. They addressed any issues we had immediately and definitely went out of there way to make our stay enjoyable and memorable.We stayed with two adults and our kids (18 and 12), and the sleeping arrangements worked fine for us with the two queen beds. Just something to note — if you're not sharing beds, it might feel a bit tight for more than four people.All in all, it was a lovely escape in a peaceful, scenic spot. We'd absolutely recommend it for a small family or couple looking for a relaxing lake retreat.

Cute log cabin with a real cozy feel. The beds are super comfy and the kitchen has everything you would need. The cabin is 20 yards from the beach with incredible views!!! It is the most peaceful place, laid back, serene, perfect!!! The hosts are equally as wonderful; great communication, and are there to give suggestions on local restaurants, supper clubs and anything you need. Highly recommend this beautiful place.

Everything about our stay was wonderful! The host and owner, Mick, was great and very accommodating. The cabin and property is kept extremely clean and has a very nice sandy area that's well maintained right at the edge of the lake. After fishing on the lake, I can say I didn't see any other nice sandy lake fronts like this place on the entire lake. We rented a pontoon boat from the owner which was easy to do and really nice. We had a blast fishing lake Bobbodish, and had some great catches and a few that got away but we'll be back, and will be recommending to friends and family!

We had a great time at the cabin. Communication was wonderful with the owners. They had recommendations for us, answered all my questions promptly and were so kind. I was lucky enough to meet the host Mick who was extremely friendly and personable. He made sure we had everything we needed there, which we did! The beach was great for kids, and they enjoyed the fishing, swimming and laying in the hammocks. All in all it was a wonderful stay!!!

An amazing vacation

The hosts mick and lollie were awesome. Did everything you could ask for out of a vacation including fishing info and talking to you like a friend and not just a visitor. The cabin was clean and great for 2 couples and a child. My 8 year old had the time of her life swimming in the clean water and catching crappie and bass. It had everything you needed and more. Not to mention families of loons and eagles. Also the 4th of July fireworks and pow wow were awesome too. We will be back for sure.

Wonderful Getaway

This was our forth year at this property and it was better than our first. Every year comes with its challenges but it’s always been family related, the one constant has always been this property and the line of communication that we’ve had with Lolly or Mick. There is nothing more that we could ask for, this place has simply been the best. From Mick sending me photos in February to get me excited to the way he told me about fishing spots and specific baits to use to increase my luck. This cabin provides all the necessary ingredients you need to have a relaxing time “off the grid”. I could not dream up a better place to take a vacation or better owners to deal with. I highly recommend this resort (which is truly what it is) to anyone who is looking for some down time, away from the hustle and bustle of life and go to a simpler time of beach lounging and great fishing and seek out Mick and Lolly and one of their phenomal properties and just allow yourself to completely unwind in the beauty that is Lac Du Flambeau.

Little Bit O’ Heaven is Right!

It is an enchanting log cabin cottage very well equipped, beautifully decorated on a peaceful and quiet lake. There is a sandy beach with a raft to swim to in clear water. We chose the rowboat for a ride although there are kayaks and canoes as well. So many places to sit and enjoy the outside view! We loved our stay here!😎😍😀

Thunderbird Point originally operated as a family summer resort with six cabins nestled on Lake Bobidosh under gorgeous white, jack pine and birch trees. The water of Lake Bobidosh is so clear; the fishing is so good and the sounds of the Northwoods are soothing. Lake Bobidosh is not a busy lake. It is peaceful and the inviting and laid back. Neighboring White Sand Lake is the next lake over and has public access for recreational water sports. We have mostly fishing boats, pontoon boats, canoes, kayaks, rafts, small sunfish sailboats and a lot of lazy lounge swimming. We are located off the beaten path, but close enough for a quick ride to casino, tourist attractions, great restaurants, antiquing, hiking, cycling, berry picking, golfing, hunting, Native American cultural museums, water ski shows, Artists, Art Galleries and all that the area has to offer.
