Entire 3BR/1BA dog friendly private home w dedicated office, Lg yard & parking
Welcome to this charming house with 3 bedrooms, 2 queen beds, a dedicated office and private yard. The house was built in 1930 and sports an industrial flair. This is a terrific spot for longer stays, whether you will be traveling for business, working from home, waiting on a home to be built, or longer leisure travel.
A standby generator will help you get through those power outages. It runs a weekly test and automatically kicks in when electricity goes out.
The house is fully-equipped so you can enjoy your home away from home experience. We have mini blinds and blackout curtains, LED vanity mirrors, bedside reading lamps and nightstands in both bedrooms. 1 bedroom has a 43” TV. The office area has an adjustable desk.
The bathroom is outfitted with a shower and we provide a hair dryer, towels and starter bath products.
Watch your favorite flix on the OLED TV in the living room, relax on the swivel chairs or take snooze on the couch.
The kitchen comes with a reverse osmosis water filter, lots of cooking utensils, pots & pans, bakeware, a gas stove and dishwasher. If you don’t want to cook, no problem, you will be appx 5 minutes away from eateries and breweries on 34th St or Alba/Wakefield, or try Hughies Tavern & Grill offering Vietnamese dishes a couple of blocks West. Bring home your leftovers cause you'll have a full-size fridge to keep food fresh and a microwave to warm it up later.
The laundry room has a washer and dryer with starter laundry products.
Outdoor amenities include a seating area on the covered deck and a BBQ pit. B&W Meat Market is a short walk away for fresh grillin’ proteins. Aldi, Whole Foods, Kroger and HEB are nearby if you prefer. Shepherd Park is one block away if you want to enjoy a walk with your fur baby. Fully fenced property with spacious parking area is well-lit at night and requires coded gate entry for parking up to 3 cars.
Services: We provide Light cleaning bi-weekly. Light cleaning consists of dusting and wiping surfaces, sweeping/vacuuming, bathroom cleaning. Light cleaning also includes weekly linen exchange of one-for-one towels and bedsheets. Linen sets will be removed and replaced on beds. Deeper cleaning and other laundry services will be at additional cost to the guest. Property maintenance includes bi-weekly lawn service and quarterly pest control.
Conveniently located 2 miles north of 610N Loop which gets you to the Medical Center, Galleria, or I-10E to LBJ Hospital, I-10W to Energy Corridor, and easy access to I-45N to/from IAH airport. Head I-45S and be downtown in 20 minutes for the theatre district, major sports events, downtown festivals or Discovery Green. Keep driving South to Hobby airport about 30 minutes or be in Galveston in about an hour.
