My husband and I stayed for three nights. The house was beautiful, the room and bathroom was so nice and relaxing. The beds were comfortable and we slept so well. When we arrived they had put cookies and a nice welcome note, such a sweet gesture. Skip and Karla were so welcoming and kind. We will be back next time we are in town! Thank you for making our stay so wonderful

Skip & Karla made my stay here not only extremely welcoming but they were supportive as well when I told them I was running the RnR Nashville Half. The room alone was everything I love about it. I’m a big fan of carpeted floors and the biggest win win was a bathroom in the room. I love to stay here again if I’m ever back

Great Place

My wife and I are so glad we decided to stay at their home, both Karla and Skip made us feel welcome as though we had been friends for years. A beautifully decorated home in a great neighbor hood. We plan to stay at their home again in May 2025. We highly recommend staying at their home. They are a wonderful couple and we feel blessed to have met them and look forward to seeing them again.

Stay outside Nashville

It was a nice house, nice room, very clean and tidy. Skip and Karla, the hosts were very friendly and helped us when we had questions. We were happy we stayed here and not in downtown Nashville as this was a quite surrounding.

While searching for a hotel on Expedia, this VRBO listing popped up in my recommendations. I had never stayed anywhere other than hotels but after reading the reviews, I decided to give it a try. We were unsure of what to expect but Skip & Karla were very kind and accommodating and even left delicious cookies for us on the bed😊 If you’re looking for a quiet place to stay for a good price, this is the place!

Perfect for what we needed

My son and I made a short getaway to explore Nashville and this was a perfect place to stay. Although it's a little outside of Nashville, it was easy to get to/from. Karla & Skip were super friendly hosts, and even left little treats for us. We felt safe, but the room also has it's own lock which is appreciated. This was our first time staying in a VRBO in someone's home and my son said he liked it because it felt like we were just staying with family friends in their home.

Charming Location

Suburban Comfort

Beautiful home and great hosts and wonderful brownies. Far enough from downtown to be quiet but near many stores and restaurants. The hosts are very friendly and helpful, did I mention the BROWNIES? We stayed in the Corvette room. The room had two beds, a recliner and a full bathroom. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Thanksgiving stay

Had a great stay. Everything was very comfortable and clean. Karla and Skip were super nice and helpful. Will stay again for my regular TN trip to visit the grandkids. The Thanksgiving/fall decorations were awesome.

Great rental

This is a wonderful property! The hosts are very nice and accommodating. This was our second stay in their home. The room descriptions are accurate and very clean. The hosts offer suggestions when asked. The extra touches, water, cookies, cinnamon rolls, and coffee bar, make the stay worth revisiting!

I cannot say enough about our stay. Our hosts were always in contact with us about our arrival and what to expect. We were greeted with cookies on our bed. Honestly, if I were to mention everything it would still be an understatement. Our room was clean, bathroom stocked with towels. On our last night we came in a bit late after a concert and were greeted with homemade apple pie at our door step! Gracious….that’s one of many ways to describe our stay ! It honestly just felt like home… so it was perfect ! Can’t wait to stay again !

Everything was perfect! The room was clean and cool and she left chocolate chip cookies as a welcome gift. It’s about a 30-40 minute drive from downtown depending on traffic. Would definitely book again.

It was like staying with family

Nice accommodations on the upstairs level of the owners personal home. They live in the house downstairs. Above and beyond personal touches, which we were really appreciative of. Karla & Skip gave us our space while we stayed. Parking space in the drive with code access to garage entrance. We felt safe in the quiet neighborhood. Easy access to Nashville off the highway. We stayed 7 days. Karla is an amazing baker and spoiled us with heavenly sweets! Thanks for helping our stay be comfortable and pleasant!

Property and room were very clean. Hosts were amazing and very welcoming. Homemade cinnamon rolls were delicious 😋 would recommend staying here and we will definitely stay here again when in the area!!

We are a middle aged couple always on the go and rarely home. I teach middle school and help my husband, Skip, run our hot dog cart business. We have two carts at two different Lowes Home store that we run 6 days a week

We love Hendersonville. I have lived here 51 years and my husband off and on throughout his life (71). The house is exactly 1 mile from the bypass which leads to Down Town Nashville and surrounding areas which make it the perfect. Close but not to close to the noise and congestion of downtown.
