The view is spectacular. We really enjoyed our stay. It was wonderfully relaxing by and in the lovely pool, overlooking the mountains. The young people walked quite a few kilometers up and down the mountain to get to the village for a drink. Communication with the owner was excellent, and he responded very quickly. He reacted positively to our suggestion regarding the need for a bit more seating (in the TV room) and more sun loungers (by the pool); I hope they act on it. We were also able to check in early by prior arrangement. It was great for us that this happened to be possible and that the owner was so flexible. Sadly, the holiday is over now. Thanks, Anders.

Thank you very much for your lovely review! We will certainly look into adding a few extra chairs outside. The TV room is a bit cosy, so space is more limited in there; that said, we have often watched football matches with a full house ourselves, and bringing in a couple of chairs from the dining area works really well. We might also look into rearranging the sofas to optimise the space – we'll see what's possible.

Fabulous hillside vill

An amazing villa that provided the prefect place to relax and explore. Our host could not of been more helpful and we loved the villa and saltwater pool. Can not recommend enough

Wonderful house, fantastic area

An amazing house in a beautiful area. We spent two glorious weeks in the house with five good bedrooms (with A/C). We were 8 adults who enjoyed the well functioning house and pool, and had a great time in the local area. The house absolutely lives up to all the images and deskriptions. We highly recommend this location

Quiet and a fantastic view.

Overall a very good property, you have everything you need in the house. The pool is great and the house is big enough so you don't feel cramped even with a big family. And the view is just incredible. Only downside is that it's on a hill side, and the shared tennis courts and pool are quite far.by foot.

Amazing Villa with stunning views

We had a great stay at the Villa. The views are absolutely stunning and the Villa is spacious and comfortable with great cooking facilities. We enjoyed cooking and eating on the terrace every evening. The new pool is lovely. The surrounding area is beautiful including the nearby town of Laroque des Alberes. You do need a car though as shops and beaches are all a drive away.

Fantastic

Compliments for: 1. Lots of good spaces 2. Good Wi-Fi 3. Great washing machine, good place! 4. The drying room was great 5. The kitchen was very well equipped 6. Air conditioners in the bedrooms perfect, what a luxury in prolonged heat (which we enjoyed very much) 7. A beautiful location there in the mountains. 8. Great views. 9. Beautiful quiet area : fantastic 10. Nice village, supermarkets in the area, pharmacy in the village as well as a good bakery! Nice villages in the area. Various activities that you can use: horseback riding, rafting, markets, cozy and good restaurants in the village.

Amazing mountain adventure

Incredible mountain views, lovely house, well equipped with a fab pool, we had a great holiday at Casa Vostra. Be prepared for a climb but the views are worth it, we stayed with our three children aged 11, 8 and 4 and they were in heaven in the pool, the balcony was wonderful for evening drinks and the lower area with table/plancha was magical for dinner- the views were breath taking. Air conditioning in bedrooms was a blessing during a very hot spell. The shared pool in the Domaine was fun too for a more active swim and Laroque des Alberes itself was very picturesque with restaurants and cafes, allbeit too far for an evening walk. We ran and cycled from the house and there are fire roads which give variety as long as you're prepared for the inevitable climb! It's a very quiet spot, private and tranquil, we were very aware of our own noise (!) but neighbours were friendly. Thank you for a wonderful holiday, a unique experience for our family.

Wonderful stay at Casa Vostra!

We had a wonderful week at Casa Vostra. The property is exactly as advertised and spacious enough for our group of 3 families. We really enjoyed having the pool and the beautiful terraces to view the valley and ocean. The house was clean and well maintained. We particularly appreciated the full compliment of kitchen utensils, dishes and sharp knives for our group, so we didn't have to spend all of our time washing dishes. Overall, we had a fabulous stay. The road to the house and the driveway are not for the faint of heart or those with larger vehicles. We did find parking on the road for those that didn't get their cars in the drive. The house is also outside of the the cute town of Laroque des Alberes, which isn't really within walking distance. Certainly, one doesn't walk down for breakfast or a visit to the pub. Thus, you really need to make sure you have what you need before climbing the mountain to the house. These minor details are really just that...minor. Anders was great and easy to reach by email. The exchange between Canadian and European banking systems was complicated, but worked. Overall, I would recommend this property for anyone who wanted a quiet villa vacation in a beautiful setting.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour en famille avec notre chien à Laroque-des-Albères en octobre. La région est magnifique et le logement bénéficie d’une vue absolument à couper le souffle.Un grand merci à Anders, qui s’est montré très réactif, disponible et attentionné, aussi bien avant notre arrivée que pour préparer au mieux notre séjour.Une très belle expérience que nous recommandons sans hésitation !

We hebben een fantastische vakantie gehad met ons gezin. Onze kinderen (14 en 11 jaar) en wij genoten van het zwembad, het prachtige uitzicht en het gezellige huis. De host reageert snel. In de omgeving is er genoeg te doen. Je bent met de auto binnen 15/20 minuten bij de zee, maar je kunt ook de bergen in. Er zijn mooie stadjes in de omgeving. Al met al een aanrader!

Maison avec une vue magnifique surement très agréable l'été mais un peu humide l'hiver surtout par temps de pluie comme lors de notre séjour . Toutefois, l hôte est très réactif et a solutionné nos problèmes d'électricité dans les meilleurs délais ; la situation est parfaite pour visiter les alentours et faire de belles randonnées ;

Je tiens à m'excuser une nouvelle fois pour les désagréments causés par la pluie sur l'électricité, mais je suis heureux que nous ayons pu faire intervenir un électricien rapidement malgré la période des fêtes.

Wir waren mit zwei Familien und fünf Kindern dort und haben alles so vorgefunden wie beschrieben. Der Ausblick von den Terrassen und vom Poolbereich ist wunderschön. Guter Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge (auf ein Auto ist man angewiesen), Wanderungen sind direkt vom Haus aus möglich.

Fantastiske rammer

Vi havde en storfamilieferie i huset. Huset var den perfekte ramme med god plads. Poolen var perfekt for både voksne, børn og lille barn på 1,5 år. Vi følte alle, at der var god plads til privatliv og til at være fælles. Udsigten er fænomenal og der er roligt og dejligt oppe på bjerget. Vi har haft god kontakt med udlejer. Vi kunne ikke have ønsket os bedre rammer end dem vi har haft i huset.

très bon séjour

La maison est idéalement placée avec la mer à 20 minutes et des départs de randonnées au pied de la maison!Quand nous sommes arrivés la maison était glacialemais ensuite cela s'est réchauffé grâce aux radiateurs!Cependant, certains équipement sont vétustes et mériteraient d'être renouvelés (bouilloire, couettes et oreillers, aspirateur...)

Schöner Urlaub mit fantastischer Aussicht

Wir haben zwei schöne Wochen in Laroque des Alberes verbracht. Vor allem die Aussicht ist ein Traum. Die Kinder hatten jeden Tag viel Spaß im Pool und auch der Weg zum Meer lohnt sich. Das Internet ist anders als beschrieben sehr gut - die Kinder waren begeistert (>500Mbit). Anders ist ein sehr netter Vermieter, der sich bei Problemen sofort kümmert und nach einer Lösung sucht.

Maison pas nettoyée

La maison et extérieur de la maison sortaient d hibernation Pas de nettoyage des extérieurs table du salon de jardin plancha inutilisable plein de toile d araignée et poussières Terrasse de la piscine tout le mobilier l un sur l’autre… L intérieur de la maison pareil toile d araignée poussière partout sous les lits,insectes morts … À l ouverture des volets ds les chambres punaises qui tombent partout … La vaisselle était pas propre nous avons dû la relaver à la main car les assiettes trop grandes ne passent pas dans le lave vaisselle… Dommage l emplacement est bien

Comme nous l'avons également évoqué lors de votre séjour, nous ne pouvons encore une fois que regretter que le ménage ait été si mal fait. C'était une nouvelle personne qui avait repris le travail depuis le début de l'année. Nous en avons bien sûr pris les conséquences et avons immédiatement mis fin à cette collaboration. Ceux qui assuraient les travaux de nettoyage depuis de nombreuses années ont heureusement accepté de reprendre les travaux.

Le sejour etait vraiment tres agreable. La description du logement correspond a la realite. La vue est incroyable, le lieu est vraiment tres agreable a vivre. Nous recommandons vivement cette magnnifique villa.

Super expérience dans la villa

Tout s'est très bien dans la villa à Laroque des Albères. La maison est très spacieuse, avec une superbe vue et tout les ustensiles nécessaires pour passer un agréable voyage. Rien ne peux malheureusement se faire à pied (les courses notamment) mais le petit village en contrebas est très mignon.

Merci beaucoup pour votre excellente critique. Il est vrai que la vue fantastique et la tranquillité de la montagne font que vous n'êtes pas à quelques pas de la ville de Laroque en contrebas. Une voiture est nécessaire et cela ne prend que 6-7 minutes.
