Spacious Family Getaway

We loved our stay at this charming farmhouse! The home was very clean, the beds were incredibly comfortable, and the location was perfect. Very close to Okemo and less then 2mi to restaurants and supermarket. Sara was very responsive to our questions and made sure we had everything we needed for a wonderful stay. We would definitely stay here again if/when we come back to Okemo!

Lovely home

We enjoyed our stay at the lovely home. The only issue we had was that the dishwasher was broken, but the owner sent us a message before we arrived so we knew we would have to hand wash the dishes.

In the case of the dishwasher, it broke and replacement parts had to be ordered. Unfortunately, the parts did not arrive until after our guest's stay. In regards to repairs with our home, we aim to address them quickly and communicate with the upcoming guest on the status of the repair so that they are aware and not caught by surprise.

Great location, great place to stay!

We absolutely loved staying here. Super close to Jackson Gore mountain -3 min drive. Very clean and well equipped home with everything you would need for your stay (towels, bedding, well-equipped kitchen, etc). Plenty of room to hang out!! There were 6-8 of us and we never felt overcrowded. Would highly recommend!! Sara was also extremely easy to communicate with!

Great house in a great location

We loved the farmhouse! The layout was perfect for our family with space to hang out all together and in smaller groups. The decorations and details are so fun with historical/local pieces that share stories of the area. My youngest son loves all things farming so it was especially perfect for him. The location is ideal for skiing at Okemo and the local recommendations were spot on. I would definitely recommend the house!

Winter ski vacation

Beautiful, perfect New England farm house with lots of room for our family. We were able to cook all of our meals at the house during our 4 day stay. 1 mile from Okemo Ski Resort. Wood burning stove provided wonderful ambience while we ate at the large dining room table together. Couldn’t ask for more. Thank you 😊

Excellent ski weekend

We had a great time staying at Sara’s house for a 3 day ski weekend. The house was clean, well stocked and spacious. Sara responded to all my messages very promptly and was a pleasure to deal with. The house is located very close to the Jackson Gore base on a main road and the driveway is large enough to accommodate multiple vehicles. Highly recommend!

Perfect NE winter getaway!

This VT farmhouse is impeccably maintained, pristinely clean, and well-appointed - and it is less than a mile from the Okemo ski slopes.... and very close to downtown Ludlow, VT. We stayed during MLK weekend, hoping to do some skiing. Although the weather did not cooperate, we still had a fantastic winter holiday weekend, mostly due to this very charming farmhouse! From the wide plank wooden floors to the beautiful craftsmanship, we absolutely adored this home!! The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the house was in perfect condition and very clean and well-maintained. I absolutely recommend this property - we will be back!!!

Perfect Family Get Together House

What drew me to this house was the large kitchen table as our family and friends love to sit, talk, drink and be merry. We couldn’t be merrier. Besides the wonderful table, the room also has a wood stove which on a single digit nice provides a soul warming heat. All of the adult beds were comfortable. The house came with typical paper towels, real toilet paper and decent towels. The layout of the house is perfect for those looking for some me time while accommodating those that wish to socialize. In addition, the host was flexible with us as a large snow storm passed through delaying my departure flight. All around a great experience and hope to be back next year.

Farmhouse near Okemo

This quaint and cozy farmhouse has ample space for a group ski weekend. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes and pots and pans to save on going out for food. The heat was a bit unevenly distributed (as expected from an older farmhouse). The beds and pillows were also very firm. The garbage disposal situation is a bit of a pain - you have to bring your garbage with you or drop it at the dump on the way out of town. It is also odd that there is no place to dispose of ashes from the wood stove. This would be relatively easy to rectify. Overall the positives outweighed the negatives and we would stay there again.

Thank you for your feedback! There is a metal bucket with a small metal shovel to the right of the wood stove (near the fire extinguisher) that is to be used to dispose of ashes. Trash can easily be brought to the dump, which is on the way while leaving town. Alternatively, arrangements can be made for trash to be picked up.

Lovely

The house is exactly as described. Super clean and modern touches with wifi, roku, surround sound. We went for a ladies weekend. I wouldn’t let anyone eat salsa anywhere except the kitchen table. Ha! Carpet and couches are light colors. The rental rules are very thorough. I’m not sure I would rent it if it were mine. I wouldn't want anyone ruining it. Beds are comfy and rooms are spacious. We would definitely rent again! Thx u for a lovely getaway. Next time we need to stay longer.

Ski strip

The property is great. There is a ton of space and it is so close to Okemo and the downtown area. The room with the king bed is really large and can easily fit a pack n play or air mattress if you’re traveling with kids. I had a couple questions and was able to get in direct contact with the host and she answered my questions. Can’t wait to rent again next year.

Wonderful Weekend

Lovely 1800s home with all the modern amenities. We rented for a weekend of skiing up at Okemo - location was perfect. We were traveling with our 2 adult children and their mates so especially appreciated having 3 queen/king beds vs single beds offered in many homes. I had great contact with Sara the owner. Would recommend to everyone!

Great ski trip

Sara was a fantastic host! The rental process was seamless, check in and check out were easy and she responded to our questions quickly. Her property was perfect for our group of 6 with plenty of space and all the amenities we could ask for. The location was really conveniently located a mile away from Okemo. We would rent again in the future and would recommend others stay at Sara’s property.

Great home and location

For a ski trip to Okemo I don't think you can beat the location! Homeowners were very accessible and responsive to a couple of questions I had about the home. Ample space for sleeping, playing, and eating. Kitchen a little light on some things (like big bowls) but minor and adaptable issues. There is also a cold draft from mudroom to kitchen; but, again, this was not a big issue other than making me sad I had to turn up the heat. This draft was part of the old farmhouse-style home and part of its great charm!! I would return and recommend. -Jim

Beautiful home close to Okemo Mrn

What a perfect stay for our family and friends. We came up to die down the long MLK weekend here and it was the perfect space and location, being just 3 minutes from Jackson Gore base of Okemo mountain. The rooms were plenty comfortable and the two TV rooms worked great. Communication was easy and simple. I do work there was another option for trash removal, instead of having to go to the transfer station ortaje it with us. It was a great stay and we would definitely stay here again.

Adorable farm house close to Okemo

We really enjoyed are stay at The Farm House. It was cozy and comfortable, with many modern amenities and beautifully decorated. It was also super convenient for getting to Okemo just 2 miles away. Julie made check in and check out a breeze. Thanks so much for having us.

Gorgeous farmhouse

The house was immaculate and we had everything we need in supplies and kitchen items. Sara was super helpful with logistics and answered all our questions quickly. Great location close to Jackson Gore and it was easy to get our kids there skiing. Can't recommend the house enough and hope to be back again!

Lovely Farm House Convenient to Okemo Mtn

We had a wonderful time in this cozy, well appointed home. It is a short drive to Jackson Gore and to Clock Tower at Okemo Mtn. Super convenient during ski season. We would definitely rent again.
