A SECLUDED LOCATION in the very heart of the Sonoma Valley near the villages of Glen Ellen and Kenwood. Sugarloaf Ridge State Park to the East and vineyards all around, 5 large bedrooms, each with ensuite bath. Almost 5000 sq ft, it comfortably sleeps 10 & includes access to a lap pool and all-season hot tub with views to the park and its rocky peaks. 50 minutes to the Golden Gate Bridge.



FEATURES OF THE ESTATE

Soaring 20 feet, the clerestory-lit Great Room merges with the splendor of the Sonoma outback as the living room`s glass walls bifold back to open completely to the great outdoors. Secluded and picturesque, there are endless views of the forested peaks with advanced trails to the park within walking distance. Art Deco antiques abound with an easy `feet up` level of comfort and ease throughout. Friends or family can gather around the massive living room fireplace or cook in the professionally stocked kitchen. When temperatures drop, radiant heat under the oak flooring ensures comfort in the high-ceilinged spaces. In the rainy season, the nearby creek fills and rushes to the valley floor.

AIRPORTS ~ A WORD TO THE WISE

We are 1.75 hours from the international airports of San Francisco, Oakland, and Sacramento. We strongly recommend, when possible, using the regional airport in Santa Rosa, 30 minutes from the house, with numerous daily flights arriving from Burbank, Bend OR, Denver, Dallas, Las Vegas, Orange County, Palm Springs, Phoenix, Portland, San Diego, Seattle, San Francisco, LA. This saves a combined 4 hours round trip plus endless concourses.

The uniqueness of the solid stone-walled lodge is beyond compare. The huge kitchen is just part of one vast great room measuring over 1000 square feet offering incredible views. With adjoining 14` French wine bar and enormous fireplace, this affords a one-of-a-kind gathering place for friends and family.
