Relax at this family-friendly and peaceful apartment in downtown Reykjavík, offering views of Harpa and the National Theatre. Located on Klapparstígur, it’s just a stone’s throw from the city’s major attractions, shopping streets, restaurants, museums, and cafés — all easily walkable. Despite the central location, the apartment sits in a quiet residential area with a lovely communal garden and playground that can even be enjoyed from the apartment.
Inside, you’ll find two bedrooms, a spacious living area, a fully equipped kitchen, and a newly renovated bathroom with a washer and dryer. The primary bedroom features a comfortable queen bed, while the children’s room includes a child’s bed and a crib (a twin bed can be installed upon request). The living room also offers a dedicated remote-working area, making it ideal for both leisure and business stays.
Guests enjoy the rare benefit of free private parking in a secure enclosed garage in the basement — with easy access to Sæbraut, perfect for day trips outside the city. Adding to the charm, Iceland’s oldest bakery is located on the ground floor of the building, serving fresh Icelandic delicacies daily.
