perfect location

Family reunion

My family had a great time. We spent a lot of time in the lake swimming, fishing, and boating will all the kayaks, canoe, paddle boat. We would recommend this property for large family gathering. We would definitely stay here again.

Great stay in Columbus Cabin

This property was fantastic, plenty of amenities and space for a group of 14 and 2 infants. everyone had their own room and the home was so comfortable. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a great “Cabin trip” type experience

Perfect multigenerational family getaway

We had a great stay with my parents, sisters’ families, and 9 grandkids ages 10-26. We all had our own space, but enjoyed gathering both inside and outside around the property. The property had multiple places to gather together and separately with a nice deck, fire-pit, and dock with a pond. We enjoyed shopping in downtown Nashville Indiana and touring the Hard Truth distillery. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would love to go back.

Great weekend away!

We had a 95th birthday party here for our Pappaw and had family joining from indy area all the way to Florida for the weekend. Tons of space, very comfy beds and pillows, fully stocked kitchen, stocked bathrooms, nice clean hottub, boats and a nice fishing dock. The house is immaculately clean and very welcoming. The hosts are incredible and ensure you have everything you need and more for your stay. We loved our weekend at this house and are looking to return sometime soon!

Spacious & Serene

We loved our weekend here! Our large family was able to celebrate Christmas and New Year's Eve without feeling crowded. The grandkids had plenty of room to play without waking great grandma up from her nap. Our adult children enjoyed the hot tub and pool table while others found quiet areas for conversations. The living and kitchen area worked out perfectly for buffet style meals and games for our group. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms to go around. To top it off the setting is peaceful and beautiful. We took walks by the pond and saw deer eating in the woods. Agam was so easy to work with and quite thoughtful to bring us a gift to welcome us. Everything was clean and well stocked. We've stayed at many rentals and this by far was our favorite!

Families gathered for Thanksgiving weekend. Loved the secluded property, fire ring & hot tub.

Spacious accommodations, large kitchen. Reasonable distance to Columbus or Nashville Indiana. Owner checked on us first evening to see if we we settled in & had any questions . Responded quickly to a question on thanksgiving day. Families enjoyed their stay!

Brown County Fall Idyll

We had a large family reunion, 16 in all, celebrating the matriarchs 85th birthday. The house never felt crowded with 12 overnight guests as there’s plenty of room and bathrooms to spare. The kitchen was large and accommodating with double ovens and dishwashers. Proximity to Brown County and it’s trail systems was key and it didn’t disappoint. A real added bonus was being able to stroll around the property and in surrounding areas on a a network of trails by the pond. It was too cold for us to play with the watercraft in the pond but it certainly is big enough to do so. The timing couldn’t have been better for the fall colors and the many vantage points from the house. The owners, Agam and Natasha provided cakes, champagne, and other treats for our gathering. This was totally unexpected and a very thoughtful gesture. The fire pit was a hit. We didn’t use the hot tub or much of the gaming items like the pool table and air hockey. There are a couple of minor items that could use improvement, one would be the repair or replacement of the TP holders in the bathroom, an outside light by the hot tub, and perhaps some more wall art as the house is rather stark. These are minor quibbles that did not take away from a successful family gathering. One last piece of information. The listing is accurate as are the photos. In my mind I envisioned en-suite bathrooms and that is not the case. They are shared but there’s plenty of them.

Perfect Getaway!

Our Group of friends had a wonderful stay at this amazing property. Fall was the perfect time to enjoy this house with all it's views of the lake and fall foliage. The house was conveniently located close to the Hard Truth Distillery, and the shops in Brown County. It was definitely a property that can be enjoyed by a large group or family to make great memories.

Great family weekend

The children enjoyed playing on the swings and hammocks outside. One of them kayaked around the lake and enjoyed that. There was lots of room inside for the little ones to run around and burn off some energy. There were enough bedrooms for us all and the beds were comfortable. The temperature controls worked fine but it took us one night to figure out they were set on a schedule. The kitchen was well equipped and we spent a lot of time around the central island talking and enjoying our adult beverages. Overall it was a very nice weekend. And the host stop by with a couple bottles of wine, some brownies, and a big chicken pot pie which came in handy as our designated chef was unable to attend. I would recommend this place for a great family get together.

Gorgeous, sprawling property!

The hosts were lovely; they were responsive to my questions, flexible when I asked, and stopped by with treats. The property is beautiful and even bigger than in the pictures. Our group made a lot of amazing memories here. I definitely recommend this property and would consider booking it again in the future!

Wedding Stay

Great place to stay for a wedding in Columbus, Indiana. Beds were very comfortable. Environment inside and out were relaxing for our guests. Allowed for cooking own meals and visiting with old friends.

Beautiful Setting with Tons of Space

The location was perfect for our needs. The 2 hour drive was perfect. We wanted to be far enough away from home that it felt like we were getting away but not so far that it was too long of a trip. The setting is beautiful. Christmas was unseasonably warm so we spent a good amount of time outside walking around the property, down on the dock, tossing a frisbee and some even went for a boat ride on the pond. The house is huge with so much space. There were plenty of beds and they were comfortable. Recreation spaces were fun. The kitchen was great! Lots of space to have multiple people in it and the appliances were great. We would have liked more furniture for gathering. There is a large room that is pretty empty that could either be used for everyone to sit if there was more furniture or put a large dining table there so everyone can sit together. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and may very well return.

Our family LOVES this place!!!! It’s very nice, clean and comfortable!

We have booked this place for two years now and plan to go back again. Beautiful scenery and great accommodations! The owners are very responsive and do everything to make us happy and comfortable! Love all the bedrooms and beautiful kitchen with everything you could ever need! Spacious and lots of things to do and enjoy! Love the porches and camp fire area!! I would recommend this place to everyone and can’t wait to go back!!!

Sibling Retreat

We thoroughly enjoyed the house, the size was wonderful; it was well equipped with general, daily necessities; clean; beds were very comfortable; the size of the kitchen was great for our group of 16. Highly recommend it.

Amazing Accommodations!

This property was perfect for our family reunion. It was spacious, beautiful, and in great repair. The owner was very gracious in bringing by dinner and dessert for the first night. I highly recommend this property. We will definitely use it again in the future.

Fabulous Retreat!

This property was perfect for our IU Family Weekend. After going to IU's football game Saturday, we returned to this lovely home and enjoyed a quiet respite in the woods. Our freshman son was happy to have a break from dorm life, and enjoyed fishing the lake on this property. This place is even better than the pictures!
