I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Loved our stay. We were upgraded due to the fact that the hotel was getting a new roof next to the cabin we rented and no one else had rented the other cabins the same week. Setting was peaceful and much needed for stressed out management. Lol.

Wonderful cabin with a very run down pontoon boat

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My family and I come to Grand Pines every summer! Management was very responsive when we requested air mattresses. (side note they don’t use air mattresses anymore but rather cots that are smaller than quoted queen size air mattresses) Property was clean and had everything else we needed! We were however VERY disappointed with the condition of the pontoon we had for the cabin- it had no ladder which limited a couple of our guests not being able to get up into the boat from the water, no depth finder for fishing and avoiding rocky areas, seats were torn up, horn did not work which is a safety concern, and finally the whole radio panel piece was completely torn out. I think it’s insane to charge the same price for the cabin(s) that have much newer pontoons with all of the bells and whistles the same price as those with very old dated pontoons. Had I known about this pontoon I very likely would not have booked this as we spend a lot of time out on the boat when we visit. A recycle bin would be nice to have for the cabins as well. Aside from the major disappointment with the pontoon, we had a great stay! We will definitely be back but will be sure not to stay at cabin 28 unless they get a newer pontoon boat.

Beds (especially upstairs bedroom) were terrible. Very hard to sleep. Get a few Casper mattresses cheap and easy to fix. They get delivered in a box. No, I don’t work for them or own stock it’s what I have at home:). Pontoon only went 18mph. Not that big a deal with pontoon but beds would stop me from renting again. Mostly that upstairs bedroom Had to switch for downstairs with son who was happy to take the master until he slept in it...

Close to Hayward. Quiet overall. Having the pontoon included was an extra. Views were awesome. Only concerns were there was no way to start the campfire with the wood left. Air mattress had a hole in it.

The cabin was spacious and clean and right on the lake. A pontoon was included with our cabin which we used many times. We were located near a convenience store and great bar and grills. When we needed help with something Mandi was just a phone call away and always responsive. We had a wonderful time and highly recommend!

Mattresses are soft need replacing. Upstairs hide a bed broken had to use air mattress for 4 people to sleep. Location was great for family fun. Good fishing off pier, sandy bottom for swimming.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great weather, its a great cabin for family and friends to stay at. The lighting is quite poor, makes the place look gloomy. They should move the trash bin away from the cabin porch, its a gnat factory and quite disturbing.

Cabin was very well used and needs some improvements, ie: shower upstairs replaced, pull out couches replaced- 1 broken, 1 mattress broken down. Pontoon very well used-ripped seats and carpet.wonderful lake to be on but would not choose this cabin again. Local restaurants were great, easy access to area attractions, fishing and water activities great!
