Completely private, but minutes from many popular attractions, eateries, and entertainment. Great setup for a family with children. Located just 3 minutes off I-65, 10 miles from Beech Bend Raceway and Park, 6.4 miles from National Corvette Museum, 24 miles from Mammoth Cave, 24 miles from Barren River Lake. 6.2 miles from Buc-ee's. 10 miles to WKU.

The space
Cozy house plan. The master bedroom has a queen-size bed, a workstation, and 55" TV with Roku. There is a separate space separated by a door off master that has full-size bed, and hanging and clothing storage. In the living room, there is a couch, recliner, and daybed with pull-out trundle. There is a 55" smart TV with Roku. There are DVDs connected to both TVs, as well as iphone chargers, and HDMI cords to connect any gaming, etc. that you may bring. Dining table seats 6. Fully stocked kitchen. Laundry room with washer and dryer, and a coat rack. There are 1.5 baths with master bath having a stand-up shower. There is an attached one-car garage, and a heated and cooled activity room with a ping pong table, and exercise bike. There are two covered porches with seating, and a porch swing.
Guest access
You will have access to the entire living space with the exception of a supply closet off the dining room and attic storage, both of which are locked. You have use of the attached garage, and the activity room off the garage. Outdoors you have the run of 5 acres, about half of which is wooded , with 1/4 mile of mowed walking trails, interconnected. With a short walk through the woods, you have a view of the neighboring farm pasture, where you may see cattle grazing, or perhaps a deer or wild turkey.
Other things to note
During hot, dry times the host will be by daily to water landscaping. Trash pickup is early Tuesday, and the host takes care of getting it to the street. There is a train crossing close by, so you will hear a train whistle from time to time. The host lives nearby, and has found this to be an enjoyable, relaxing sound. There is a Ring doorbell camera that has a view of the entry porch, and down the driveway. If you are showing a car or truck at an event at Beech Bend, or driving a Corvette to Bowling Green, send us a photo while staying, and we will have it enlarged and displayed at our cottage.
