Horrible. The hall bath had a broken toilet seat, the tub floor was very soft, the internet was not working, the floor vent in the kitchen was broken. The master bedroom door would not close properly. The BBQ was not usable, and the sump pump was loud and constantly running. There were rodent droppings on the pans. There what looked to be mold in the master bathroom wall. My coworker and I left early, and I am currently waiting for a refund. See case # 144557191

It worked for us, but please read if you are taking a family.

This was a much better deal for us than staying in a hotel. The locked, fenced area was nice for the kids to play in (though the neighborhood felt a little sketchy). I am thankful we found it and it ended up working fine. I would stay here again, but I wish I would have known some things before hand. When we arrived there were 14 light bulbs burned out, the toilet would not flush or would run constantly (we ended up turning the water valve on and off as needed to flush), two bar stools and one kitchen table chair were broken, a large part of the wall was broken and crumbling in one of the bathrooms, there were little cubes of mouse poison on the counter, floor and inside low cabinets, there were sharp knives in low drawers, and the cooking pans were cheap and in bad shape. I can see how this place would work very well for a fishing trip. I brought my own large pot from home and that was a huge help. I ran everything through the dishwasher before using it. I did text about the light bulbs and someone brought some by later that afternoon. I think it might be the best place in Zapata for a large family to stay, but just know what you are getting. I was there with 8 of my kids ages 19-2. One more positive, they were good with communication before and during our stay.

Dirty, run down in need of lots of work.

No toilet paper, half of the lights were burned out. Hole in the middle of the kitchen floor. Dirty shower, over grown weeds made it hard to get to the rusty grill. Don't waste your time and money here.

Great house and location

The house was very comfortable for the people we had staying in it. The back yard was very nice to sit in as it stayed shades most of the time. There was enough room to have our boats on the driveway and shaded enough so that everything didn’t get hot. It was a very pleasant place to stay and will certainly keep it in mind the next time we do a trip to Zapata.

awesome stay! It was a home away from home!

I’ve stayed at many hotels/motels and had that gut feeling that someone was going to mess with or steal my belongings from my truck or boat but NOT at this place. This place not only feels like home it gives you a piece of mind that your belongings are secure. I most definitely will book again. Nothing beats the view of the lake and the boat ramp is right around the corner as well as the tackle shop (Incase you forgot something).

Great family getaway

We loved the house and the view of the lake was beautiful. The home was very accommodating for my family, we felt right at home. I do wish there was railing all the way around the back porch and on the ramp in the front of the house to make it a little safer for small children but other than that this was a great place to enjoy a family vacation and we will definitely be returning this summer.

Awesome, Great,

AWESOME AWESOME AWSEOME This is the perfect place to stay while fishing on Falcon. Close to the county ramp, gas station just outside of neighborhood. We easily parked two trucks and boats in the driveway. From the washing machine to showers we didn't have a single problem with anything working in the house. There is even Direct TV with all the channels. We will definitely be staying here in the future and would recommend this place to anyone.

Great fishing rental.

Indoor and Outdoor Awesomeness

House was stations and provided lots seating and extra room for portable bedding. House was clean and well stocked with dishes and linens. It was close to the water and had plenty of parking for our boat and company. We will definitely be back.

Fishing Falcon

We stayed 9/2 thru 9/5 and can say that this is a great spot for fisherman that want to spend some time at the lake. Good location, good a/c, very clean and stocked well but the best part was the communication with the owner. Very prompt to answer any questions or concerns with very clear instructions...will definitely stay again.

Great place to stay. Clean and Liz and Brad were very helpful on our questions.

We stayed for six nights and the place is very comfortable and great AC. Plenty of room for boat parking and feel very secure. Close to County ramp which you can see from back deck. Would defiantly stay there again.

Very nice and clean.

Plenty of boat and truck parking. Very secure fencing. Boat parking in the shade. We really enjoyed our stay. Excellent beds and showers. A fisherman's dream.
