From start to finish it was a wonderful stay! Dominic and Natasha are excellent hosts and communicated well with me as soon as I booked my stay. All my questions were answered and they sent clear instructions and directions for finding the place and checking in. Everything in the unit was just as described in the listing and was spotless.The bed and linens were comfortable and the kitchen had everything I needed and then some to cook my own meals. It was such a great stay. Sky valley has great mineral pools and I thoroughly enjoyed those. There are also all kinds of activities if you want to participate.Thank you so much Dominic and Natasha for being such great hosts. I look forward to returning very soon!

We enjoyed the resort and the mineral springs. The grounds and pools are very clean. The unit itself is very dated and in need of a renovation. No bedroom door not even a curtain. Kitchen pans could be replaced. The boho sofa is very uncomfortable. The bed is a double so a little cramped but ok. Would be nice if there was an outside grill.We actually ended up cutting our stay by several days as we were not comfortable there.

Great holiday stay

Sky Valley is a great holiday Spa. It was very clean, mineral pools were awesome, people were friendly and very helpful. Check in to the property was very easy, and our hosts were available to answer all questions. Our home was fully stocked , no BBQ, location to pools and office was excellent. Would stay at Sky Valley again

Perfect for three nights

The place was perfect for our three nights in the Palm Springs area, although we might have found it a little claustrophobic if we had stayed their much longer. The house is in a well-planned resort of park homes, and is somewhat isolated, but this was not a problem for us. I cannot praise the owners enough for their kindness in keeping in touch, and alerting us to any potential problems (none of which arose).

Christmas Wonderland

It was a great location with lots of opportunities. The mineral pools were clear, crisp, and well regulated, daily and nightly activities in the pools and outside of them were posted. Great little library and definitely relaxing. The location was outside of the main towns, but in the middle and a short trip either direction was a nice perk. Multiple hot tubs and pools on each side of the compound was the star of the show. Great managers and they were very responsive. Definitely would recommend as a get away.

Great Sky Valley Stay

Easy check-in and great communication with the owners. The home was nice and clean, and the kitchen had all the equipment I needed. I did have a little problem adjusting the water temp in the shower, but I appreciate that it was nice and hot. I didn't get a chance to use the amenities at the resort, except for the laundry, which had many machines and accepted credit cards for payment. The neighborhood is quiet and safe. Would book again.

Great resort

Sky Valley is a lovely resort in the desert away from the bustle of cities. The hosts are very responsive. The property is in a great location. Bed and pull out couch are extremely comfortable. Linens are good. Kitchen is well stocked. The place itself is very dated and in need of maintenance and updates by a skilled worker. Existing furniture is uncomfortable. Dining room chairs are long overdue for replacement. All in all it could be a great rental but needs a bit of help.

Affordable and adequate

I liked the location of the tiny home - close to the pool area! The mattress and furniture seemed old and saggy. They need to upgrade the furnishings. I had trouble with the shower - it was difficult to adjust the water temperature. They were very nice and communicated well, but did say I was wrong about the shower and should have known better how to adjust the water temp. The thing was stuck as far as I was concerned, and they should fix it.

Quiet little getaway

The listing is accurate and the location, although a little drive to downtown Palm Springs, is decent. Very quiet community of primarily 55. Unit could use some updating, but is stocked with everything you need to include soft towels and sheets, shampoo, body soap, etc. Comfy bed and pull out sofa. Kitchen has more than any other place I have stayed in (crockpot, blender, nice matching dishware). Brand new appliances.My only real complaint is that VBRO did not send me the address of the unit and I only got the overall address of the community which is probably 1,000 spaces. They also sent me the wrong gate code and incorrect lock box code. It was a mess and took us about 1-1/2 hours to get in. The owner is very responsive. Just make sure that you have the 3 digit street address when you get there and make sure to check your VRBO messages for the owner's info to get in. I only saw the VRBO welcome email which had all incomplete info.

location, location, location!

clean and well-supplied with all the cleaners one would want. Sufficient space, needs a lot of updating and maintenance. Advertised for 4 people, but only one double/full bed, not a queen. The hide-a-bed had old/dried, discolored foam. not usable mattress Not a complete set of dishes for 4 people, scratched Teflon cookware, only one functional screen on entry slider. No welcome/instruction booklet. Only one key for two people.

Hidden gem away from the hustle and bustle.

We had a great time at Sky Valley. It’s very family friendly. Our host was quick to respond with any questions or concerns. I always recommend bringing extra towels, sheets, and basic necessities when renting from private home owners. This place is definitely off the beaten path, but that was exactly what we wanted. My daughter found a book to read that she couldn’t put down so we’re buying her her own copy today. My little one had a great time in the pools and made lots of friends to play with. Our hosts were kind and helpful. I love to cook and the kitchen had everything I needed in good shape. It was a great experience.

Very pleasant stay at Sky Valley Resort

The contact with Dominic and Soheap was very good (our challenge was getting wifi to be able to connect with them) and sort out some minor problems with following the instructions for wifi. For Ron & I, it was a very comfortable stay (although I missed the door on the bedroom, LOL!) It was great to be next to the pools and laundry--just a short walk away. The property is very clean and would suit 2 couples or a family and neighbours are respectful and quiet. The front deck is very nice and is the only area outside where you can sit, but small if there are more than 4 people.

Uncomfortable

There was no place comfortable to sit or sleep. After I contacted the owner, he did get a new mattress for the twin bed. The hide a bed and sofa and chairs need replacing. We cut our stay short by one week. The owner is aware of the upgrades needed.

A few days in Skyvalley

Had a lovely holiday & acommodations worked out well. Neighbors across from us were very nice. The pool & hot tub area was great. Only negative was being so far away from the city areas.

Near the Hot Pools

It was a short walk to the pools which are very nice. There is tons of storage and a well equipped kitchen. There are lots of comforters and pillows. It was very quiet at night when we were there. It is an easy drive to Joshua Tree National Park or Palm Springs.

I am happy I made the choice to rent this property. Any one visiting really needs to check to think of staying here rather than a hotel. It is out of town yet the drive is well worth the convenience and safety for families.The price was very affordable. My family enjoyed the comfort of a home while visiting family and Friends for Thanksgiving. This is more personal than a hotel. All the comforts of beds, stove, fridge, hot shower and family room. Plenty of space to move and the quiet of a small resort community where people are friendly and neighbor children came over and played with my children while we were settling in. We swam in the mineral pools, just a heads up there is a side for families to swim and a side just for adults. The stars at night time are amazing.
