FALSE ADVERTISEMENT!!!! Not even close to a luxury penthouse and not ocean front this place was on top of a loud restaurant, no peace or privacy, everything was filthy, balcony boards were broken and there’s a kitchenette not a full kitchen no fridge and no oven if I could give 0 starts I would!

Mold infested bathroom

Could have stayed in a 5 star hotel at a better part of Miami Beach for the price I paid for this place. Bathroom is full of mold and no effort has been made by the owner to upgrade or rectify though there have been complains about it in the previous reviews. The balcony umbrellas don’t work to get any relief from the Miami heat. Loud music until 3 am in the morning. To anyone trying to rent - don’t go by the pictures. They are super enhanced.

Location, location, location

This was a a graduation gift for my son and his friend and you can not get a much better location. If you know South Beach, you know 5th & Ocean is the perfect location. We had plenty of room for the three of us. The view from the very, very large balcony was amazing and everything we needed was walkable or we grabbed a bike rental across the street. If you know the area you also know these are older, art deco, historic buildings. Olga was very responsive and the condo was perfect for us. Skip the tourist traps and make sure to grab the best sandwich at La Sandwicherie, your Cuban favorites at Puerto Sagua, and pretty much whatever your heart or stomach desire at 11th Street Diner. Oh, and the pizza at Pizza Days is very good. Sorry Olga, we stayed up talking until after three am and our uber was due at 5:30 so I did not get to do all of my clean up chores but you provided the perfect place for me to enjoy a few days with my son before he heads off to college.

Great Location

Olga’s place is in a great location, right at the end of Ocean drive where you still get an ocean view. Very easy access to the boardwalk, beach, all things ocean drive, etc. The unit is a little outdated and could use some tlc, however for the price/location it was better than anything else we could have found. The unit does not have designated parking, however there is 20/day public garage on 7th that’s an easy walk from the condo.

Best location

The location on this property was amazing. The miami beach photo opp sign right outside of your balcony. Amazing view from rooftop balcony. The only issue and it has nothing to do with this specific apartment. Nor is there anything the host can do in regards to it. But there is a bad smell on the 3rd floors coming from what im assuming is a long term tenant or owns that apartment. But again nothing the host can control. And you CANT smell it the penthouse apartment so its nothing to stop you from enjoying this AMAZING penthouse location

Excellent option in South Beach

The apartment is great, exactly what’s advertised. The only point of improvement would be the blinds in the bedroom, it gets pretty bright in the early morning. All things considered, we had a great time here and strongly recommend the place!

Large deck space and gorgeous views

Waking up to the beautiful view of palm trees, white sand and turquoise water was awesome! The large deck was such a great feature. Only disappointment was no paper towels in the kitchen and some coffee would have been nice.

Fabulous Location

We had a great stay! Location and views were just fabulous. Olga was very responsive, always quick to answer questions. We had plenty of bath/beach towels and kitchenware. Would be helpful to have a few kitchen towels and a broom and dustpan. Loved that a Citibike station was right across the street. We used it everyday. We will definitely be back!

We were very pleased with the location since it was close (walking distance)to the beach and to many fantastic restaurants. Olga was very responsive and accommodating.

Good spot

Nice spot w good restaurant downstairs. Really big terrace that looked out to ocean blvd and the beach. One nice bed than I slept on the twin which was ok but I think for the money, this is a good place to stay. We were 3 adults and it was plenty for us. The a/c worked well. It’s a good spot.not luxury but you aren’t paying luxury prices either. Also…you want to park a few miles away at jungle gardens because parking in Miami Beach was about $100 a day but jungle gardens was about $20 a day

Perfect area

The property was very nice and perfect for my boyfriend and I! It’s in the middle of everything and a short walk to the beach. Everyone was very nice and accommodating and you could get breakfast right at the entrance of the building. We would like to stay again when the weather is a little cooler.

Amazing location

Spacious and very welcoming apartment. Gorgeous terrace overlooking Ocean Drive and the sea. Incredibly quiet, despite the central location. The owner, Mrs Olga, is an extremely kind person. Her assistant, Helena, is very nice and helpful. A truly relaxing stay. Thank you!

Perfect January Stay

Loved actually everything. Most: - you can literally put on your bathing suit, cross the street and you're by the Ocean. - in walking distance to everything in Miami Beach. You can even walk some 12' to a great Publix and get whatever you need. Big Walgreens is around the corner. - public parking garage is 3 walking minutes away, good prices for MIA B. - all kinds of restaurants are right at your doorstep. - wonderful terrace with sunbed off the living room (trhe only thing here: it's not the one embellishing the booking platform listing, but nearly equally nice. - great help from Helena, the housekeeper. There was actually nothing I didn't like. Go, if you can afford it, it'll be better than you imagine it.

Amazing Stay

Beautiful view from the balcony. Clean and an amazing piece of property. Right in the middle of it all on Oceans Dr. Everything is just a minute away. Restaurants, Walgreens, Pizza, Bike rentals, gift shops, and the BEACH. Its all right there. We loved the stay at the Barbizon location.

Great location

The property is steps away from the beach, with a view of the Ocean Drive. It is a penthouse with a large balcony, you can see the ocean.

Excellent Location

You really cannot beat the view from this place. The deck is absolutely perfect for relaxing and enjoying the ocean scenery. There was an airshow going on that weekend, so the deck provided a perfect view of the festivities. The experience itself was great. Place was clean and had everything we needed. I would highly recommend anyone who wants to stay right on South Beach check this place out. Additionally, Olga was super responsive and incredibly helpful in accommodating our needs.

Low expectations

We were quite disappointed with this property other than the location. There was mold growing on the side of a closet, no extra towels, pillows, or blankets. The WiFi didn’t work nor did majority of the light switches. Property is quite dated and not set up with extra items for a comfortable stay. Hallways were as well not clean and dated. Location was the only pro of this property.
