Spacious 5-bedroom house walking-distance to downtown Manistee and 1st St Beach!
A vacation where you can bring the entire family (fur-babies included)! Come make yourself at home in this 5-bedroom Manistee retreat. This fabulous house boasts 1 king bed, 3 twin beds, and 2 queen beds, perfect for any group getaway. The upstairs loft features an additional 2 twin beds for extra lodging. In the basement you can enjoy a designated office space for those who may need to get some work done during their stay.
Highlight amenities include AC, heating, and basic toiletries (towels, shampoo/conditioner, toilet paper, soaps, hairdryer, cleaning supplies). There is a laundry room in the basement with one washer and two dryers. There is a large wash basin and a toilet in the laundry room as well.
Our full kitchen (stove/range, refrigerator, microwave, toaster, blender, hot water heater, coffee bean grinder, milk frother, coffee machine and espresso machine, standard dishware and utensils) and a large dining room are perfect for hosting dinner parties or for nights you want to eat in.
Outside you can enjoy the privacy of a fenced-in yard and a cozy patio space featuring lounging chairs and a firepit! There is a separate, two-car garage and long driveway to accommodate multiple vehicles.
Bringing little ones along? There is an incredible park just across the street and a teen center which offers endless games, pool tables, foosball, air hockey, basketball courts, and a skate park!
How about four-legged friends? We do allow pets upon request. Dogs must be crated when left alone in the house and a large indoor crate is provided.
Downtown Manistee is approximately a 10 minute walk and offers a variety of shopping and dining experiences. First Street Beach (voted Michigan's #1 beach in 2024) is about 1.3 miles from the house. Hi! Alec and Emily here. We are a local family in Manistee who live a short walk away from your rental, should you need anything during your stay. Alec is an electrical engineer and Emily is a veterinarian who owns her own mobile practice here in Manistee. (So, if you have a pet emergency while on vacation, don’t hesitate to call her!) We have two sweet babies, two dogs, a cat, and some chickens. Some of our favorite hobbies include long-distance running, trail hiking, foraging, fishing and hunting, beaching, cross-country skiing, reading, traveling, painting, and puzzles.
We have traveled the world together and still feel that this is hands-down the BEST place to live. As hosts, we are SO excited to share the beauty of our little town with you! Welcome welcome welcome! We look forward to helping you have the most memorable, FUN, and stress-free vacation possible.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial
This bungalow of ours is an optical illusion. It is incredible. You can walk by it and think “that’s a cute, little house.” Once you are inside, however, it is not little at all! It nearly seems impossible that so much space exists inside what appears to be a small home. The kitchen is quite spacious, with endless cabinet and counter space, a step-down pantry, and a breakfast island with chairs. Opening up into a large dining room with a table that seats six. The dining room is open-concept with the living room, creating a welcoming atmosphere for dining, relaxing, and conversation amongst large groups. There are three bedrooms on the main floor with enough beds to sleep five people comfortably. There are three beds in the loft, and a queen bed in the full basement. All-in-all, you can sleep eleven individuals in one home and still enjoy plenty of extra space. The layout is convenient for multi-family trips, because each floor provides a separate living space with multiple beds.
Aside from the design, the location of this property is premium. You cannot beat being able to walk into town or spend the day at the beach and not worry about having a long drive home. If you are at the house and decide you want to go catch the sunset on the beach, you only need five minutes to drive there.
