Apartamento ático de lujo en un edificio restaurado de estilo parisino

Precioso ático restaurado en el cuarto piso de un edificio de estilo parisino con solo 8 apartamentos. Fantástica ubicación para ver Buenos Aires. El apartamento fue restaurado durante 9 meses para recuperar la gran vida a principios de la década de 1900. No se reparó en gastos para recrear la sensación de riqueza con la madera importada mientras se moderniza la cocina y los baños. Servicio de limpieza semanal incluido.

Techos muy altos con trabajos de yeso ornamentado caracterizados por detalles de madera y pisos de madera noruega pinotea originales que crean un ambiente cálido. Hay un hall de entrada, salón / comedor y sala de estar independientes, un dormitorio principal con un lujoso colchón de matrimonio y ropa de cama de lujo con un baño privado totalmente equipado con bañera de hidromasaje y ducha.

Segundo baño 'estilo loft' encima de la cocina con una cama doble y medio baño. Cocina de diseño con estufa de gas, lavaplatos y refrigerador. Lavadora de ropa también. La sala de estar tiene un estéreo Bose Wave y TV por cable con un nuevo Smart TV conectado a Internet. Internet inalámbrico de alta velocidad en el apartamento. Iluminación ambiental en todas las habitaciones. Servicio de mucama una vez por semana. Aire acondicionado para verano y calefacción central (radiadores de agua forzada) en invierno. Hay un ascensor (hierro forjado al estilo parisino) para que no tenga que subir tantos vuelos (a menos que esté trabajando en toda la buena comida en Buenos Aires).

The historic building and apartment are wonderful- in character and location. We loved staying there and would happily do so again. Both the owner and Miguel the manager are very nice. We were greeted with fresh fruit and water bottles. The actual flat is nicer than the photos show- high ceilings, much historical architectural interest. The owner has updated the primary bedroom with a new white duvet and matching white sheets. Please note the second bedroom and extra half bath are in an open loft above the kitchen which is accessible from some stairs which have no railing on the open side. Perfectly nice once you are up there but probably not for young children who might forget to tread them carefully. There is a wonderful produce grocery just next door and plenty of small other grocery stores around the neighborhood. The other residents of the building are very nice. Highly recommend!

Authentic BA perfect stay

This is a remarkably beautiful period apartment with high ceilings, polished wood floors and tasteful decoration. In a safe neighbourhood need to the underground and quiet enough for uber pickups we enjoyed every minute of our stay. Dave, the owner, gave us lots of helpful information and Miguel arranged an early check in and very early check out. Dave also arranged Hector, his trusted taxi driver to pick us up so we didn’t have to worry about getting a cab before 6am. The apartment is on the top floor and the quaint Parisian style cage lift was very reliable- just make sure you close both doors on entry and exit. We ate out on a couple of occasions but enjoyed the freedom of making our own food when we wanted to. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need. It’s an easy and interesting walk to Recoleta Cemetery for a fascinating guided tour with Simon, an English guy who hangs out there every day. We also enjoyed exploring nearby Palermo Soho. Dave’s house book also has lots of tips. We wish we could have stayed longer than 4 nights.

How to Make Buenos Aires Even Better

Staying here was one of the highlights of my time in Buenos Aires. The apartment is beautiful. The bed is comfortable. The kitchen and apartment are well equipped. The location is convenient to grocery stores, lots of shopping, two Subte stations, and even language schools. Dave and Miguel are both attentive and helpful. I hope I'll get to stay here again!

True gem of an apartment hosted by amazing Dave

Comfortably located for visiting the diverse neighborhoods of BA, the apartment captures the Paris of the early 1900s, complete with an “ancient” open elevator that works perfectly. More relevant, perhaps, is that you could not wish for more attentive and helpful hosts than Dave and manager Miguel. Important to my wife and me, the firm bed was very comfortable, the WiFi was fast and reliable, the shower pressure great, the kitchen very adequate, and a good AC (summertime stay). The apartment has a spacious living room and dining room.

Five days in Buenos Aires

This apartment is all it was claimed to be in the ad: a beautiful and charming two bedroom (tho one bedroom is quite small) apartment, nicely furnished and equipped, in the heart of the Palermo district in BA. There's a small grocery store two doors down, a nice cafe across the street. Dave and Miguel kept in touch through a group chat on Whatsapp and they were very responsive and helpful at every step. Highly recommended.

we loved our stay in the beautiful, centrally located apartment. dave and miguel were readily available and helped us with everything from using the keys to accessing the building’s trash. the linens were lovely. we’d return in a heartbeat.

Fantastic charming property in Palermo.

Great location. We rented for nearly 3 weeks, while we flew in and out of areas of Argentina. Property has a ton of character with wood floors, doors, trim, all in great shape. Highly recommended. Any challenges were quickly dealt with by the property manager.

Parisian style in BA in central location

We stayed in the apartment for two weeks, and had an impeccable stay. It is on the 4th floor or a nice building with elevator. The apartment is very central, walking distance to almost everything, and in a very good neighborhood. It is close to Ave Santa Fe, so it is not quiet, if this is what you are looking for. The owner as well as local agent are great to work with and very responsive. The apartment is very well equipped with all you need, stable internet that allows working from there also (whereas the apt. is not set up with a desk or table to work from). Bedroom is to the courtyard and there was no noise. Owner left book with great recommendations for BA. If you want to visit BA for vacation, this is a great place to stay.

The apartment is lovely and centrally located. The manager is wonderful, and helpful if and when things come up! There is a day book that gives you up to date information to make ones stay more comfortable! Highly reccomended for those looking for a clean centally located , and architectural representation of a period 100 years ago.

Great Location and the Best Host

The owner and local host were beyond wonderful in helping us navigate all aspects of our trip! We can't thank them enough!! The property is lovely and a great location to see all of the different areas of the city via public transportation or walking.

SPACE,SPACE, SPACE! Perfect for a couple and room for 2 guests

Gracious and genteel host. GREAT COMMUNICATION! Professional - always available by a text away- House Manager. Essential House Book provided. Fresh flowers everyhwere upon our arrival. We stayed for a whole MONTH in this 109 yr old building in Barrio Norte with lovely quiet polite neighbors. Great Internet WIFI, Fully equipped kitchen and for us- a brand new electric water kettle, GREAT new QUEEN mattress and box spring with lovely sheets and chic hotel styling duvet and pillow cases. Thick bath towels. Tastefully appointed with newly upholstered gray sitting arm chairs and super comfy linen sofa cover and pillows. Ample space for work zones we needed. DEFINATELY very close to public transport options if you want, easy uber/taxi area, Pharmacy, groceries, hospital, Alto Palermo Mall, (3rd level Hair salon), shops abound. Easy walking distance to Palermo Soho and Recoleta. Don't miss LA AGUADA (casual northern regional cuisine) downstairs , two doors down on the lef AND Cafe TILO very nearby! Felt like our very own pied-à-terre.

Lovely place

Dave had a cab driver waiting for me at the airport, which made things easy for me. Miguel met me at the house and walked me through the place. The place is charming. There was everything you needed. It was clean and the wifi was fast and dependable. Restaurants and supermarkets are all within walking distance of the place. Good experience. I'd do it again.

Convenient neighborhood, lovely apartment

Very nice apartment and exceptional host. The apartment is as nice as the photos. I love the high ceilings. Everything you need is a easy walking distance and taxi's are readily available to explore further. We were there when the corona virus hit and the host was super nice and accomadating. I highly recommend this apartment.

I grew up in Canada and fell in love with Buenos Aires and the Argentine culture so decided to put some permanent roots down in Buenos Aires. I come back at least twice a year to visit friends and to keep experiencing the ever-changing city. I made it my personal goal to visit every one of the 'notable cafes' of Buenos Aires - the ones that have been around at least a hundred years. One is on the same street as the apartment. Por qué escogió este alojamiento

The apartment is half of the top floor of a hundred year old Parisian-style building. When I started looking for a place this one jumped out and is definitely a very lucky find! After 9 months of restoration/renovation it is showing its full potential and I wish I could live here all year round. Great neighbors! Quiet at night but close to everything.

I use VRBO/Homeaway a lot and I hate all the hidden cleaning fees. We don't have any. Our maid comes before and after your visit and if you are around for longer than a week she will come by weekly.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

This is the perfect location to visit Buenos Aires. Walking distance to Recoleta and the centre of Palermo, with restaurants and shopping at your door and great transport options. Park Las Heras is two short blocks away and you can walk to the botanical gardens, the zoo, the Evita museum, MALBA, the lakes of Palermo and there is an excellent hidden cafe for breakfast in the courtyard of another museum that is about 15 blocks away. So many hidden wonders and there is a continuously updated house guidebook that has my recommendations and many recommendations from past guests and friends. I'll email that in advance to help with your planning. Some of the restaurants (especially the closed door restaurants and the great steak houses) are often fully booked in advance so it is good to do some planning! I wish I had two stomachs when I come to Buenos Aires.

I take pride in ensuring that guests receive as much assistance as desired in helping with planning. My local manager will meet you at the property and also add his advice. He is also available for assistance throughout your stay.
