I stayed here for 3 weeks with my family. The hosts were great and responsive, and the property was very spacious. I would definitely stay here next time I am in the city.

Kitchen was well equipped everything you would need crockpot etc location was quiet and easy access to anywhere we wanted to go everything we needed was within a 20 minute drive. Host was very responsive and quick to respond and recommend areas of interest

Needed a large home for our family to attend a wedding in Ottawa. This home met our needs. Ottawa was easily accessible by bridge.

This property is not advertised as it should be - there is a basement tenant that is not disclosed in the original listing and the property was in terrible condition when we arrived. The house looked like it had not been cleaned in months. We did not end up staying and had to find other accommodations.

Jordan stayed at the property for only one night of his four-night reservation. During the stay, his group indicated that they wanted to hold a party at the property. Once they realized that parties were not permitted under our house rules, they decided to leave early and subsequently claimed that the property was not clean. Their request for a refund for the remaining nights was not approved by Vrbo. Following this decision, the guest became frustrated and indicated that a negative review would be posted unless a full refund was provided. For this reason, we believe the review reflects the guest’s frustration regarding the denied refund rather than an accurate representation of the condition of the property or the quality of our service. We take cleanliness and guest satisfaction very seriously and continually strive to provide an excellent experience. Our many other guest reviews reflect the standards we consistently work to maintain.

We stayed for 3 nights and then 7 nights in September as part of a major family trip from the UK. On arrival after a long journey we found that the property had not been cleaned, there were dirty towels hanging up, bins hadn't been emptied, the oven was dirty, one of the showers wasn't draining and the crib had been placed in the main bedroom instead of one of the smaller ones (as requested in advance) and had not been securely put together.Patrick responded quickly when I informed him of this and arranged for a cleaner to come round at about 10pm. They did a decent job considering. Before we returned for our second spell, I asked Patrick to ensure that the place was given a thorough clean and that the crib was moved and made safe. This was all done and so our next 7 days were much more relaxed.Aside from this I would say the property is in a great location to explore Ottawa and Gatineau Park on a quiet residential road. It is also very spacious so good for a large group. However, it is not very well equipped. The kitchen utensils and equipment are not to the standard you would expect in a large house. A number of the bedrooms had no side lamps. One or two windows had faulty mechanisms. Some of the windows had no fly screens.While Patrick was very responsive, this was always via the app. He seemed to be out of the country and the contact number he gave me for his co-host didn't work.
