We loved our stay! As two families with 4 boys between us the bunk bed room was awesome!! The boys loved exploring the property and watching the wildlife. We also loved that the beach was so close by and enjoyed Huntington Beach State Park. The fact that there was the beach and a play area plus an ice cream shop was lots of fun, not to mention all the gators we spotted!! This is our first time staying in Pawley's (although I've been coming to the area for years) and we loved the quiet laid back feel. The house just gives relaxing vibes and I really loved the big soaking tub!!

This house exceeded our expectations. It is even better than the pictures show. Everything we could have needed was in the home, or was very close by in town. We can't control the weather and a cold front came in that dampened our fishing but, overall, we had a great time. We caught some crab off the dock, fished at a lot of really close by places, did some great small town shopping, and relaxed. The home itself was gorgeous. The sunrise was breathtaking. They were even games and books to read during the unexpected storm. You really couldn't ask more from a vacation spot. We can't wait to come again.

Cute house on the water

My children enjoyed the house and dock. The beds were comfortable and provided everything we needed. It was a short drive to the public beach, which had great parking and was not crowded.

Great place to stay!

We loved the house. Rustic feeling and very clean. We spent alot of time on the pier and gazebo. Fishing and kayaking was a blast. The host is very nice and quick to reapond to any questions. 10/10 would stay here again!

This was an INCREBILE STAY. My Husband and I needed a quick getaway and this was perfect. Quiet, serene and peaceful!! The house was warm and homey and very clean. We will be absolutely be returning to Pawleys Island and staying here again.

Weekend Getaway

My family and I loved the house and location. The marsh was stunning! We love fishing and crabbing so it was perfect for us. The house was beautiful and very clean. It was very well stocked with all the linens and cookware we needed. Would highly recommend.

Great family get away!

This property is perfect for a family get away. Our family enjoyed fishing/crabbing off the dock. The location was perfect, being so close to the beach. The home is filled with everything you could possibly need. Mary is the perfect host. She was quick to reply to all of our questions. We will definitely be back!

What a great home which appears to be completely secluded but is in an excellent location close to shopping restaurants and everything else. It is such an unusual home; felt like we were in a tree house. We will definitely be back! Thank you!

Great Gallentines Getaway

The house was very clean. Mary and her family were great host, making sure we knew were everything was and that we had everything we needed. The only thing that could have been better was the weather! But that was ok, we were totally content catching up and laughing with each other, we never left the house!

This was a wonderful place to create memories.

We totally enjoyed this clean, modern, interesting seaside cabin. It is very unique and had all the amenities of home. The sunrise and sunsets were spectacular sitting in the gazebo in the middle of the marsh or relaxing in the cozy chair by the window. Great price and everything is new inside. It is close to restaurants and the ocean but tucked away off highway 17. A real gem.

Quiet, clean, and beautiful

The house is in an area that is remote and quiet but still very close to everything. We met Mary, one of the owners, she was very polite and accommodating. The house was one of the cleanest places we have stayed in. There was not a spec of dust or a streak in a mirror. Even outside was cleaned up, and we stayed right after a hurricane. 2 master bedrooms was perfect for 2 couples. There is also another room with sets of bunk beds. The pier and gazebo were great for fishing and relaxing. We will Definitely stay here again.

April Visit to Pawleys Island Community

This is a very unique home as depicted in the photos. Solid hardwood everywhere! Views of the marsh area are excellent. The home was very clean. The owners live minutes away and were very responsive to a couple of requests. The kitchen area is small and there isn’t a dishwasher so plan accordingly. The deck and picnic table are just out the back door and great for outdoor dining. One note is there is not any cover over the back deck to shield you from rain or full sun. We made due with a couple of umbrellas. The gazebo on the marsh is roofed and puts you in the middle of all the action. Great bird watching with morning coffee and evening cocktails. Unfortunately two new homes were being built across the street from the house. We just had some bad timing related to daytime construction noise outside as the homes were being put up and framed. Probably done now. The house is rock solid and nearly sound proof so no issue inside. The location is very convenient to many great restaurants, local shopping and numerous golf courses. All just a short drive away. It’s a quiet little neighborhood tucked behind businesses on 17.

After many years of searching for waterfront property in this area, the Tester's found the perfect retreat in the summer of 2017! It is such a unique home with the inside hardwood cabin feel including cat walks with breath taking views not to mention the awesome dock and gazebo on the creek. It is in a peaceful quiet neighborhood yet located conveniently close to many amenities.
