We had a wonderful stay at this West Hollywood home and were so grateful it was available on short notice when a winter storm stranded us. Communication with the owner was incredibly quick and responsive, especially during a small arrival hiccup, and we truly appreciated the early check-in accommodation.The location is fantastic — on a quiet residential block yet just minutes from shopping and dining. The home has a true high-end, luxury feel. It’s clear how much thought and investment went into it. The Sub-Zero and Miele appliances, California Closets, and Lutron systems were real “wow” factors. Having an en-suite bathroom for every bedroom made family travel much easier, and the generous supplies (extra paper goods, etc.) were appreciated.A few suggestions could elevate the experience further. More detail in the listing about bathroom layouts and the large staircase leading to four bedrooms and the laundry room would be helpful. The photos are beautiful, but the home is even better in person.We paid to heat the pool and didn’t realize only the pool or spa can be heated at one time. In chilly weather, the pool took a while to feel warm. A simple printed guide for the home’s technology would also help guests navigate the lighting and shades.Small additions like a step stool, extra trash cans, tissues, and additional blow dryers would make a difference. The towels and bedding felt slightly damp, possibly due to the early check-in.None of this detracted from our stay.
