Anchors Away Getaway: Clean, sleeps 10, family fun, waterpark, fully stocked!
Welcome to Anchors Away, a space our family has loved to use as a getaway for years. We are entering into a sportier season of life and would like to open our cabin for others to enjoy as much as we do.
We've got it stocked with all you need, so just need to grab clothes and head on over!
Highlights:
- Game and toy cabinet for the entire family
- 3 private and tranquil bedrooms. All have ceiling fans, TV's, and opportunity to relax on your own if you've had too much time on the lake or at the pool.
- Awesome loft with 4 twin beds, which your kids love as their "hideout." Beds are suitable for adults to use as well.
- 2 full bathrooms with toiletries included
- Beach towels for you to grab to use at the nearby pool.
- Additional large dryer in the garage that's perfect for drying out towels from the pool or boat without having to wait for them to hang dry for the next adventure
- Fully stocked kitchen so there's everything you need to cook away from home.
- 6 daily passes to the Bridges Bay water park (indoor and outdoor)
- Inground pool across the street from the cabin
- Space to park your boat on site, and convenient lake access just down the street
- Unlimited use of Bridges Bay fitness center
- Bridges Bay Resort restaurants, basketball court, arcade, zip line, and outdoor playground are all conveniently on-property
- Toddler pack n play and sink step stools available for use
- Quiet outdoor area - no neighbors behind our home, and we frequently see deer in the wooded area behind the patio area

Hi there! My name is Jennie and my husband Chris and I have 3 kiddos that LOVE Okoboji. Chris grew up coming to the Lakes, and I have enjoyed experiencing them for the last many years. I love to be outside and play games, bike, have cocktails on the lake, and sneak in some alone time to read a new book or listen to a podcast. My favorite part of hosting is to provide a space that I know will make traveling easier with kids, so it becomes easier for their adults to also relax. :)
Por qué escogió este alojamiento
Bridges Bay cabins are so much fun. We rented here for several years before buying, and the best part about the cabins (compared to the condos) is that you have outdoor space for the kids to explore, and more privacy. I trust our kids, and neighbors, for our kids to go biking in the community, and even go down to the pond to try and catch some fish solo. We enjoy being connected to the resort for all the amenities it provides, so no matter the season we have easy access to activities. The location is walkable/bikeable to Arnold's Park which is so fun during the summer events.

There is no shortage of spaces you can find to rent in this area. Ours is different because we have lived in here and have figured out what's needed for a group of 10 to leverage on a regular basis. It's stocked as you would if you owned it, instead of for part-time renters.
