Esta reconstrucción completa de 1880 es la casa de vacaciones nostálgica perfecta con su cocina abierta y sala de estar que muestra el revestimiento de cedro de 130 años y el tablero de cuentas original. Esta cabaña "única en su tipo" tiene todas las comodidades modernas, desde encimeras de granito y electrodomésticos de acero inoxidable hasta pantallas planas de alta definición y reproductores Blue Ray en varias habitaciones, al tiempo que conserva las comodidades del viejo mundo en la espaciosa bañera con patas. Puede descansar y relajarse en una de las dos áreas de descanso al aire libre con vista a un gran patio cercado a la sombra de nueces centenarias. O bien, puede mirar las estrellas mientras se relaja en su balcón privado.

Una vez aquí, puede experimentar las delicias de New Braunfels. Una caminata de cinco minutos lo llevará al parque acuático # 1 del mundo: Schlitterbahn. O bien, puede caminar dos cuadras hasta el parque Prince Solms y montar en el tobogán o flotar en el río. ¿Buscas una experiencia gastronómica única? Pruebe Pat's Place, Union Station Café o la histórica Naeglin’s Bakery, una excursión fácil desde la cabaña. Compre o visite los museos mientras está fuera. El famoso Gruene está a solo 6,4 km. The grandkids loved the toys and outdoor play area. Lovely closed in yard so they were safe. Plenty of towels for showers and hot tub. Also shower gels, shampoo and conditioners were supplied. A very well equipped and clean house. The host was always available for questions with a quick response.

This is an OUTSTANDING property, lots of space and true trip down memory lane for a reconditioned and updated house from days past. Super close to everything, even a quick 45 minute drive to San Antonio. A lot of great little shops and restaurants within walking distance. You won’t be sorry you opted to stay at the Pecan Cottage!!

So much fun!

We won this stay in a giveaway basket and we decided to use it for our joint bach trip and it was perfect! We cooked out in the beautiful back yard, played games, and it was perfect distance from our activities!

Family Vacay!

We came with our kids and grandkids for a little family vacay! The house was perfect and the grands were enthralled with the secret rooms and backyard! The kitchen had all the things needed for serving up meals after a day at the waterpark!Spacious home for 8 and walking distance to schlitterbaun! We had a blast and loved the charm of the home. Hosts made it all simple to check in and reach if there were questions. If you’re planning a trip to New Braunfels, check out the Pecan Cottage! You’ll absolutely love it!

Best rental in New Braunfels

We have been going to Pecan Cottage for several years now. We only stay here because of its great features. It’s close to the river, well stocked, clean, roomy, and well laid out. The backyard is great for grilling, games and just overall fun for hanging out. We have fond memories as a family of spending time there celebrating birthdays, engagements and holidays. It is by far the one home that makes us feel like it’s our own! Thank you Melissa for being the most responsive and welcoming host!

Wedding home base

What a great location for our family home base for my daughter’s wedding in Cibolo. Had everything we needed. Lots of space for our family. Nice yard area for the kids and dogs. Beautiful home!

Perfect Little Cottage!

Pecan Grove was magical and perfect for our gathering!

Wonderful setting for a family get together!! Many spaces for Clay of all ages and competitions and games! We enjoy being able to walk to downtown! We had an 18 month old with us and having the stroller and highchair option was so handy! We loved the private feel and the layout of the backyard.

Best trip

Pecan Cottage was an absolute delight! There was so much to do, and see, and eat all about town but we still found ourselves back at the house spending every evening in. Highly recommend this house to everyone and we will certainly be booking again when we are back in town!

The best house ever!!!

This is the only house we will ever stay in while visiting New Braunfels. We will wait until it’s available before we make our plans. It’s so walkable to the river and other places. The house is very nice and well equipped. It’s spacious, clean and overall just feels like home. It has a great backyard with games, hot tub, playset and nice patio furniture. We spend half our time outside. Melissa the host is the best! She responds extremely fast and quick to resolve any issues. Our family has made some great memories there. Thank you Melissa!!!

Perfect!

So much fun

This was our first trip to New Braunfels and the house was perfect. So many activities at the house to entertain the kids. Beds were soft and comfortable. Everything we needed was available. I would recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay.

Wonderful place/location!

My large family of 12 stayed at Pecan Cottage in late June. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this adorable place! The house itself was very clean. Fully functioning kitchen, with the outdoor recreation area super fun for all family members! There is a Hobbit hole in the upstairs bedroom that all the big kids were fighting over! Such a great place for sleeping, napping or just having some alone time. The location was amazing! We could walk to the Comal, Schlitterbahn and all restaurants from the house. We will definitely be staying here again!

Centrally located and stocked

Pecan Cottage was everything we could’ve hoped for. We booked this place a year in advance because of the backyard play area! It was amazing to entertain the little ones! The house is perfectly located to anything New Braunfels and Gruene offers. Book it. You won’t regret it!

Very nice home with plenty of room.

We enjoyed our time there. Visited Gruene and drove into San Antonio to the Pearl Brewery area. The home was very spacious and comfortable. The only negative was driving on I-35 which is an absolute nightmare. This made the drive to San Antonio much more tiring than it would otherwise have been. And this is not an isolated occurrence. This also happened to us last year. The owners were available by phone and were very helpful. Whenever you stay here, be sure to bring coffee with you as well as kleenex and a lighter to light the propane grill and fire pit. There is a Keurig but no pods.

Perfect location for a float

Big house with lots of sleeping options. Back yard was very nice, we spent a lot of time out there. Driveway was able to park four cars which was great. Wonderful location! A quick walk to the Prince Solms Park entrance to the river, close walk back up Union from the last public exit, and not far from downtown locations!

50th Anniversary at Schlitterbaun

Excellent! Everything I dreamed about for gathering our family in a cool A/C beautiful house when we returned from Schlitterbaun each day!!!!! Such a lovely home!

Well appointed cottage walking distance to downtown

Traveled with family from East Coast for my nephews wedding and stayed at Pecan Cottage. It was clean and comfortable — outfitted with all we needed for a great stay. Close to venue and river/shopping. Enjoyed the relaxing backyard with games, hot tub and many seating areas - one with refreshing outdoor ceiling fan. The guys enjoyed using their tubes (house has many!) and river shoes to float on the river in our down time. Nieces (3&5)enjoyed the indoor toys and outdoor swing set and slide. Home cool and comfortable with nice beds/bedding. Great family getaway!
