The Space:

Welcome to La Maisonette d'Angeline, a prestigious 2022 Carolopolis Award winner and a treasured part of the Revival Street Collection. This curated group of historic homes has been thoughtfully 'revived' from their Victorian-era origins to offer modern luxury.



Your private upstairs retreat is a charming hideaway, filled with bright, natural light that makes the entire space feel airy and welcoming. Unwind in the spacious living room by the fireplace, or step out onto the inviting second-floor porch to enjoy the Charleston breeze. The home is perfect for groups and families, featuring a fully equipped modern kitchen for preparing meals and a dedicated workspace for any remote work needs.



After a day of exploring, relax in one of the three full bathrooms, one of which features a classic clawfoot tub for a luxurious soak.



*PLEASE NOTE* - as of 10/30/2024 there is a construction project right across the street and will add to the average street noise during working hours of 8am-5pm

PLEASE NOTE: As of 10/30/24 construction has begun in the lot behind the home and the surrounding area that will cause additional noise during the day. We are not made aware of the schedule, but some days can be louder than others with most work being done during the weekdays from around 8am to 5pm. Please reach out if you have any questions as to the extent of the construction. Our rates have been REDUCED and DISCOUNTED to reflect the additional noise that can occur during this neighboring project.



Potential for Noise: Due to the home’s historic character and close proximity to all the city has to offer, some road and city noise may be heard. White-noise machines are provided in each unit for your comfort.

Popular dining spots in the neighborhood include Xiao Bao Biscuit, Fuel, Porchetta Shop, Southbound, R Kitchen, Chubby Fish and many more! Our guests and neighbors also rave about Welton's Tiny Bakeshop and Kudu Coffee. We recommend going to either for a cup of locally-roasted coffee or their delicious cookies and cakes. The house is only a short walk from the very popular King Street where you will find a multitude of great shops – including antique shops, book stores and fashion boutiques – as well as endless buzzing restaurants and bars.

You can walk almost everywhere - but should you want to rest your feet, there are many other options for getting around: Uber, Lyft, Charleston Bike Taxi, Charleston Rickshaw, Green Taxi or Yellow Cab.

This place was truly perfect for a friends bachelorette weekend!!! The house was absolutely perfect for the 7 of us to sleep comfortably, and all had ample bathroom space to get ready each night. The porch was a beautiful backdrop for an at-home private meal, and we could not have been happier with the cafe below. The on-site parking was a little cramped for our rental mini van, but the owners were true champions in making accommodations so we could have an easier parking spot. This place truly is a gem and so close to everything you’ll want in Charleston!!!

Great location

Excellent communication with the management company & the property is in a great location. The mattresses could be a little more comfy and the porch could use some cozier outdoor furniture but other than that it was perfect.

Charleston weekend

Loved the location of the house. So close to King Street restaurants and shops. Having the coffee shop below was a huge perk. Coffee on the porch every morning was a great start to our day. The communication with the rental property was great and easy through the app. Would definitely come back and stay and recommend the property.

This is the perfect location if you are shopping or visiting schools etc. we parked the car and did not need it again! Everything we needed was provided and more! Will definitely be staying here again!

Great house!

Great house and great location. If you rent this house, definitely check out Island Provisions below for breakfast! The house is clean. Well maintained. We did notice some of the door knobs were extremely loose to the point of coming apart. No risk as far as security though. Otherwise the house is great. Comfortable beds. Plenty of room. Great porch. Would stay here again!

Perfect!

The place was perfect for a girls' weekend! We had plenty of room, loved the proximity to downtown, and took advantage of the neighborhood! We enjoyed breakfasts on the deck and the beds were cozy! Someone was in our parking place the entire time but management was aware. Shower pressure could be better, but overall an amazing visit! Would definitely recommend to others and return!

Good location, great accommodations

We had a wonderful stay at this property. There are four bedrooms, all with comfy beds. Two baths have nice showers. The front en-suite has a clawfoot bathtub, which is great for baths but not as great for showers. We just ended up using the other two showers during our stay. The kitchen is well appointed, and the living room cozy. Plenty of hot water for showers. It is located on a side street, so you don’t get a ton of traffic down it. But the front bedroom is right on the street and can be a bit noisy on the weekends, with people and cars frequenting the road until 2am. Luckily sound machines are in each room and that took care of any noise issues for us. It’s also located right above a coffee and sandwich shop, which is great for breakfast. They open at 7 during the week which was fine for us, but if you like to sleep late, it may get a little noisy with doors closing. The food there was excellent. Food options all around were great too. There’s a pizza shop at the next corner. Two blocks away is a great breakfast restaurant. The upper part of King street is very close with tons of restaurants. The aquarium is within walking distance too. You could walk to the lower part of Charleston but it’s a good mile and a half. The only issue is the closest grocery store was about a mile away. We did what we could with the local convenience stores and DoorDash. Not something the host can fix, of course, but worth knowing if you need anything from a grocery store.
