Lago en casa en el magnífico Upper Silver Lake esperando que se hagan recuerdos. El lote grande es perfecto para el entretenimiento con grandes terrazas en la parte delantera y trasera de la cabaña. Es un gran lugar para relajarse y disfrutar de la tranquilidad de alejarse del mundo real.

La casa tiene todas las comodidades que necesitas. Una lavadora y secadora, mucho espacio de estacionamiento para carritos y remolques de dunas.

La ubicación es genial. Lo suficientemente aislado como para relajarse, pero lo suficientemente cerca de toda la acción si estás preparado para ello. El centro de Silver Lake está a aproximadamente 2 millas de distancia, donde puedes alquilar jeeps, buggies, motos de agua, botes, etc. Si tiene alguna pregunta sobre la casa, ¡solo pregunte!

Cute cottage that had ample space and amenities for a great family getaway to the Silver Lake Sand Dunes. We loved our trip & would stay at this property again. The Host was attentive & quick to respond with an unforeseen delivery of space heaters (as the furnace struggled to kick on the first cold night of the season). This quick “customer service” response was greatly appreciated & sufficiently warmed the cottage for our weekend. Thank you, Tim, for your kind & quick response!

Great location close to everything in Mears

Loved the location ,nice house, great parking for trucks and trailers. The only thing was the exterior lighting in front was poor and the steps in front are very dark at night. Would definitely stay again!

Pleasant Stay

We had a good time while visiting Mears, MI. The stay at this lovely home was nice. Couch in living room could use an upgrade, but home has good space and back yard is huge, had fun running around with the littles of the family. Close to all the places like the lake, lighhouse, dune rides, shops.

Family wedding in the area

We stayed here as there was a family wedding in the area. I wish we could have stayed longer to explore more but it was perfect for what we needed for a weekend wedding. Great location, great house with everything you need and more. Great communication, easy check-in and out. Great experience.

Great Silver Lake Rental

Nice house with plenty of driveway to fit all your toys. Every room has tons of extra space. Kitchen setup was great to hang out around.

Very nice rental property! The owner is very nice and helpful. Check out is 10am, and they want you to wash & dry your bedding, so you need to get an early start to allow enough time.

Yearly family and sand dune fun

Place was great! Close to everything,plenty of room and clean. Very nice neighborhood and was quite! Plenty of parking especially if you are looking to go out on dunes with your toys . Would definitely go back! Loved the space in back yard for games and bon fire.

Great Dunes Location

We chose this house for our family of 7 to be close to the dunes. The large driveway was great. The short drive to the dunes was awesome. The property was quiet and secure, safe. The house was clean and well thought out. The kitchen was adequate and had everything we needed. The common area was cosy and there was plenty of outside deck and lounge area. My kids and wife all said they want to go back.

Nice location to the dunes

Nothing fancy but worked for the weekend. A few hiccups w accessing the house as the lock was one we’ve never used. One of the beds was broken (box spring) but we made due w putting the mattress on the floor. Only other issue was the can opener was broken but Tammy, the neighbor, was gracious to loan us her’s.

Lovely Home

Owners were very easy to work with. Location was perfect and lake access for our kayaks worked out perfectly. Our family of 5 stayed and were very comfortable. The listing lists 3 queen beds but they are full beds. Ample parking space and nice neighborhood. The only downfall was departure. Owner requires laundry of towels and sheets to be done before departure. There is an extra charge if sheets and towels are not washed. I would consider this part of the cleaning fee we are charged.

Thank you. Yes this is a nice neighborhood. It is wonderful to be close to the lake access point too. The mattresses, bedding, and bed frames are all queen sized. If you are use to a king bed this is smaller. Thank you for your laundry input. We will take this into consideration.

The house was perfect for us. The kitchen could use 2 light bulbs replaced ( we put one in but didn't see more bulbs.). The downstairs bath needs light bulbs too. The previous renters did not clean out the ashes in the bbq. The kitchen could use a hand held can opener ( the neighbors were kind enough to help us out.) Very nice neighborhood!

Lake Michigan Get-Away

This was my first time using VRBO and it was a great first experience! The house is beautiful, in a lovely neighborhood, and has a huge yard & driveway. We walked down to the lake access (across the street and down one or two houses). It looked like it would be a fun and easy place for a family with little ones to have a picnic and swim. We chose to go to the beach at Silver Lake State Park one day. It was very crowded on a weekday; I would avoid on the w/e! We went to the beach at Little Point Sable Lighthouse the other day. It was our favorite beach near Silver Lake. Loved that we could park right at the lighthouse--no long hike! Definitely go there to watch the sunset at least once! We also loved the close proximity to the village (and beaches) of Pentwater and Ludington. I appreciated the binder in the house explaining details of the house as well as brochures and maps of the area. My husband said it wouldve been nice to have the fishing information included in the binder since we didn't have cell coverage in the house and couldn't ask the host (as the binder says to do if you want to fish). There were a couple confusing points in the binder though. One page said only hand and kitchen towels were provided, no bath or beach towels. Another page said bath towels *were* provided. Similarly, one page said dishes should be washed and put away before check out. Another page said clean dishes in the dish drainer or dishwasher were okay. (We planned to put them away to be safe but the dishwasher was still running when we left.) One thing in the kitchen that surprised me was the lack of anything to store food in like plastic containers, ziplocs, foil. Maybe that's just a difference between VRBO and the other rental agencies? I really appreciated the huge fridge with icemaker, nice washer/dryer, a clothes drying rack, and extra drying rack in the upstairs bath. I also noticed a few outlet covers to protect toddlers. The bedrooms are large and very comfortable. Not so much the sofa-bed, unfortunately. We had a slim 20-year-old on the sofa-bed who can typically sleep anywhere, but she said she could feel springs (or something hard) in the mattress and had a hard time getting comfortable. If you need the bed space, I would recommend bringing an air mattress instead. The bedrooms upstairs had ceiling fans which was awesome since the upstairs is warmer than the first floor (as is typical). Overall, we highly recommend staying here!

Hi, I am Tim Kasza. Welcome to Beautiful Upper Silver Lake. My family, consisting of 4 boys and 4 girls have lived here since 1991. The Lord called us here to teach in a little one room school. He provided a small farm near Shelby where we reside today. Since this is orchard country we raise peaches which are ripe during most of the month of August. Our boys have also expanded in the Maple Syrup business, producing syrup, maple covered almonds and pecans, granola, maple sugar, waffle and pancake mix, along with Maple candy. The second Saturday of March is a highlight around the farm with Maple Open House.
