Close to Fontana, Tail of the Dragon, Tsali, hiking and more

Spend hours listening to nature in the rocking chairs or swing in the screened-in porch. You can grill on the gas grill or roast hotdogs and marshmallows on the fire pit. This cabin is less than 15 minutes away from the Trail of the Dragon, Fontana Lake, Tsali Recreation Area, Appalachian Trail and much more. There is paved parking for two cars.
The downstairs bedroom is a king. There are two more spacious bedrooms upstairs. One room has a queen bed. The other room has a queen bed and a full bed. There is two full size bathrooms, one on each floor of the cabin.

Inside this three bedroom cabin is hardwood floors, exposed wood walls and ceiling. There is screened doors to allow a fresh breeze to trickle in as you savor meals in the well equipped kitchen. The kitchen hosts a refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, and crockpot capable of handling any necessary culinary needs. Fire up the outdoor grill to prepare the main entrée for a barbecue feast.

As evening rolls around, unwind on the cabin themed sofa and watch a movie on the smart flat-screen TV. You could enjoy your favorite cocktails on the screened in porch and have the kids roast s'mores in the firepit.
Cabin is located in a little development called Carolina Vistas. There are neighbors but the cabin is still relatively private. Please be kind and keep any noise and music to a minimum after the sun sets. We recommend when you visit the first time you arrive within daylight hours. Some parts of this area does not have cell service. We do not have cell service at the cabin but you can use WiFi calling since we have Starlink. We also have smart TV's. The road to the cabin is packed gravel and paved. The road can be timid to some but is accessible with 2 wheel drive vehicles (unless it snows). We are in the mountains so please keep an eye out for wildlife and please do not leave food outside.

Please no trailers because the road is narrow in a few spots and there is no turnaround.

We have been coming to this area over 20 years. Please let us know if you have any questions prior to booking the cabin. We do not like surprises when we travel and we know you do not either.

For your safety, we have one camera on the property. It is a ring camera on the front door. The camera is to the right of the door and is only facing outward towards the driveway. Once you arrive I turn off the camera.
